As a potential new client I didn't find them to be very accommodating. I walked from my home to their practice this past Friday. I had noticed on their website that they close at 1:00pm on Fridays. I arrived at their door at 11:00am and the doors were already locked. They had gone home early. I assumed that they must be actively taking new clients as they are closing early on a day they only work half days. I walked back again today (Monday) to get myself established as a new client. I was told by a very polite receptionist that the first appointment for a new client would be approximately four months out. Wow. That's a long time for a practice that is open just a little more than four days a week. I am writing this for the information of people looking for a new dentist. I wouldn't recommend Water's Edge if you are a new arrival to Boise or feel that you may like to have dental services sooner than four months.

She looked around and decided on River City Dental and Dr. Walker. She was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was. The atmosphere was calm and happy. Since she didn't like dentists, this helped. The staff told her they would do everything they could to ensure the maximum insurance coverage, which also helped. Now, to face her fears: the dentist. And oh my, what a great guy! Dr. Walker, a graduate of local BSU understood what it's like to deal with frightened people. He also didn't talk down to her--he had worked with Indians in Alaska, some of whom hadn't seen a dentist in decades, so he was used to working on people like that without judgment.
