The service I received was far less than professional and in the end I've had to leave this clinic very disappointed and unsatisfied. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I have been here twice (1st time no issues) but second time saw Dr. Samareh Nikookar. First, the dental asst said I needed x-rays (even tho I had gotten them 6 months earlier). When I questioned she said it was standard practice, which it is absolutely NOT. When I saw Dr Nikookar she said I was due for a deep cleaning (which I have never gotten before nor have ever needed/been recommended). When I questioned she said I usually get them every 2 years (but she would have no idea bc I have never been to her before). I have very good teeth & have never needed this (as confirmed by my past dentist). I stopped the cleaning after feeling like it was suspect. I had also asked about fixing some small/very minor chips in my teeth. When the front desk went over the bill I said I did not want to do anything beyond what my insurance covered (since I could wait for the next year). The cleaning started & I stopped it to stop the deep cleaning (which I in fact did NOT need) and ask about where we landed on the chips since I didnt want to pay more. The front desk manager, Gabby, came back in with so much attitude like we had not discussed this at all. Should have trusted my gut and left the second they tried to get unnecessary x-rays. I come from a family of dentists and am horrified by these money-hungry scammers. Awful people, do not go here. read more

I've been going to this dentist's office for just under a decade and I really like this team. Any procedures I've had here have all been handled with considerate manners and the kindest of care. I'm not usually nervous about dental work but recently I had some work done there which had me a little tightly wound up and Dr Sammy (Samareh) took care of me. I don't always feel like dentists are light handed or sometimes their mannerisms can be too direct (if you know what I mean ) but she answered all my questions with a direct yet respectful response. I was given enough pain medication post op to last me for five days or so and only needed to take enough to finish out the first day which tells me she was very gentle and patient with the procedure. I also didn't really feel the novocain administered either. Some discomfort but no pinch or pain whatsoever (and I've had one or two experiences which were a little appalling). It's clear based on the overall reviews that this business didnt really need another superlative based review but I figure what the heck! Thanks Dr Sammi! read more

Yelp is my "go to" to find everything! How does Toluca Dental Studio get such good reviews? Seems a bit fishy to me. I went for a cleaning/check-up. After waiting I saw the hygienist, she scraped a little, used this soft little polisher and that was it. Maybe spent 5 minutes. Said she did a "surface clean" that my gums were inflamed and I should come back tomorrow for a "deep clean", cost $850 and I'd only have to pay $410 of that out of pocket. Seriously? I was like, what just happened? In my entire life a "cleaning" has always been a "cleaning"!? They scrape the crap out of your teeth to remove tartar, polish every tooth inside and out, with the gritty flavored stuff. They floss you (inflamed gums or not) squirt you with water, lots of it, and suck everything out, you leave with the cleanest of teeth and a new toothbrush! My dental plan includes 2 free cleanings a year. So then I wait an hour for x-ray tech, the hygienist returns to interpret X-rays, followed by receptionist who gives me a list of things I need to do, including cost (deep clean, mouth guard, re-do old fillings) attempt to schedule these procedures!? All this, WITHOUT even seeing the dentist!? So, as per my request, she gets the dentist who glances at my x-rays (doesn't look in my mouth) then tells me I need the same procedures the receptionist itemized. I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned and see if I have any cavities. This was more like what kind of insurance do you have and how can we max it out. So, I wasted 2 hours of my time, still have dirty teeth. read more

Went in to see Dr. Raffi for a routine cavity filling on the lower right side of my mouth. It was in excruciating pain after it was filled. I couldn't chew. Dr Raffi re-did it and it still hurt the 2nd time, although slightly not as bad. Then we spoke about fixing it with a partial crown, or root canal. I shook his hand and he said he would take care of it with no cost to my insurance. They tried to bill me. Mouth still hurts. Don't know what was done to my tooth.. Toluca Dental Studio has been my go to dental spot for over fifteen years. It is the only dental office I have ever been to where I actually look forward to my appointments. Previous to that time several unfortunate experiences with dental work occurred, and Dr Delakyan was able to repair most of that bad work for me. I was immediately impressed with his work ethic, his attention to detail and thoroughness, and his professional demeanor. At his office I have had root canals, crowns, veneers, cavities repaired-all beautifully done-and because of preventative interventions and education have been able to avoid last ditch efforts to preserve my teeth as long as possible. He has always exceeded expectations with his caring attitude; he willingly refers to other specialists if the need arises and wants his patients to be happy with the outcome of his work. With him there is no reason to feel anxiety as he is always calm and reassuring of patient concerns, and very gentle. I've not experienced pain with treatments or surgeries. The good fortune of also being treated so well by his exemplary staff and highly efficient manager Gaby over the years has contributed to my ovetall satisfaction with the entire business. THEY RUINED MY PERFECT TEETH!!!! Worst dentist ever!!! Do not come here for any dental work. They lié and create fake issues with your teeth just to get money from you and your insurance. You will regret coming here & be forced to live in pain. I needed a dentist to sign off on my teeth prior to starting Invisalign to close a small gap, so based of the reviews and distance from my home I chose Toluca Dental Studio. This was the WORST DECISION I have ever made. First, I have NEVER ever had a cavity, teeth pain or any other dental issues my entire life. I take phenomenal care of my teeth and no dentist has ever told me I had an issue. During my 1st appointment, the Dentist (forgot his name) said he wanted to do preventative care and add in fillings to a few teeth to prevent cavities in the future. I trusted him and proceeded with the preventative care fillings. Within a few days I experienced extreme pain and sensitivity causing me to not be able to eat, drink and barely breathe or talk without excruciating pain. I called and made another appointment to fix the issue. The same dentist worked on my teeth and said he fixed the issue. Nope...same problem occurred, so I scheduled another appointment. This time a female dentist worked on my teeth and said she would remove the old fillings from her colleague and fix the issue. This time a month week by before yet again I am experiencing the same, if not worst, excruciating pain and cannot eat, drink, breathe through my mouth and barely speak without extreme extreme pain. I gave them multiple opportunities to fix their work and each time they failed. I believe they need to fix their shotty lack luster work and resolve the issue once in for all. It's unfair for me to live with pain because they to scam me and my insurance for more money. So please please please NEVER NEVER NEVER let these dentist work on your teeth or anywhere near your mouth. Trust me and thank me later!!! read more

Great dentist in the valley, have been a patient for a little over 4 years. Quality of dentists, dental hygienists, and staff are great. Parking can be a bit tricky in the downstairs lot (which is expected) but is no fault of Toluca dental studios.
