We were at the fountains on Friday, May 15, 2026. We had reservations at Zocalo to meet friends for…read moredinner at 6:30pm. We live in the Sacramento area and according to the GPS it would take us around 40 minutes to get there and it was pretty accurate. We hit some traffic, but it never came to a complete stop. The GPS took us the round about way and we entered in near Pet Food Express. We totally missed the mall entrance and thus avoided the crowds. On the other hand we weren't sure if we were going the right way as it was a different way then we've ever taken. So good for the GPS getting us there. Parking is a little tricky if you don't know the area. We pulled into the lot and the directions said it was in-front of us so we parked without having an eye on the restaurant. It parked near a pretty easy landmark, Pet Food Express so we were able to find our car leaving. We're thankful they have maps of the complex as we were able to look up Zocalo on the map and get our bearings. I didn't see spots right out front of some of the businesses. So, I'm a little confused as to how those with disabilities get around. It was a long walk if you had a walker or cane to get from our parking spot to Zocalo. Parking in general can be tricky as there are so many people concentrated in such a small area and parking is limited. We thankfully found a spot, but it was a bit of a walk. Since we were there early we decided to do a little shopping. The first store we spotted and were standing in-front of was a shoe store, Sole Desire, so we went in to browse at all the nice, comfortable, and over priced shoes. The store was known for comfort and had all women's shoes that we could see, they didn't appear to have men's shoes. They had some nice shoes on sale, but they were still really pricy, all around the $100 mark. I did find 2 pairs that looked like the ones I have at home, but different colors. They are nice, but you can feel every pebble you walk over so in the end they really aren't hat comfortable. I found another pair that I liked and that were summery, but for the price I really didn't need just another pair of shoes. I was in the need of sandal so I perused the sandal selection. I haven't had cute sandals in years. I have functional water type shoes, The heaven duty type Teva and Keens, both great for hiking and water activities, but definitely not cute or sexy sandals. Now a days I need comfortable shoes for my old feet so it's hard to find something that will work for me. I picked up a pair of BIza sandals. I'm really hoping and crossing all my fingers and toes that they will be comfortable not just sitting around, but also walking. And that is the type of stores they have in the Fountains. After dinner we hoped to do a little more shopping, but everything was closed. We were so disappointment as it was still early in our minds as the sun was still out. The stores could have stayed open another hour or so. The ice cream shop was still open as we saw a lot of people with ice cream. My husband liked the vibe. It was a happy, yet not snobby crowd. The fountains were a nice touch. Something fun to watch and gather around. The music they piped in was soothing. They had corn hole at one of the fake grass patches near Pet Food Express. It looks like a real gathering spot for the active kids. There were too many kids around so I wasn't able to take any pictures of the kids area. They have a cute little train that goes around. $3.00 per person (cash only), with children under two riding free when accompanied by a paying adult. That's going to be a hard sell for lots of people because most of us don't carry cash with us.

The gratuitous handicap parking spaces are very few and much farther between. There are entire parking lot in the back of the "Fountains" with ZERO handicap spaces. According to a manager at XFINITY, when I commented on the difficulty of finding handicap parking, reported that many of complained about that very problem and they have reported it too the management of Fountains at Roseville. According to some at XFINITY, the owner/management of the Fountains stated that they don't "WANT" to provide handicap parking for the disabled. The other issue that is problematic are the stores that bear handicap stickers of wheelchairs on their windows yet provide no way for people in wheelchairs and other mobility disabilities access the store. I've recently moved to the area from Washington, DC. I am stoned and outraged at this year negligence and non-compliance of the Americans with Disabilities Act in heart of California!

I purchased a wine glass at their pop up event on 2/8 because I love supporting small businesses. It cost $20 and included writing on it. I checked to see if there was any label not to put it in the dish washer but there was none so I put it on the top rack of my dish machine. After, I found the wine glass broken into pieces. I had to carefully remove every piece I could find. I messaged the owners right away and told them that they didn't have a label that it wasn't dishwasher safe and asked for a replacement and they said "for the future any glassware you purchase anywhere that has writing wouldn't be dishwasher safe" and said no. I said I wouldn't know that because I have glassware with writing on it that are dishwasher safe. They didn't respond and refused to help. I won't be back here.

This is a small store on the first floor. They have a lot of Pokémon merchandise (plushies) here,…read morealong with Hello Kitty merchandise. They have a small selection of snacks and drinks from a mini fridge too. They can be pricey depending on what you're looking for. Snacks aren't too bad in price but the plushies are expensive.

On a recent trip to the mall with my gen z cousins, the weebs among us (not saying I'm not part of…read morethe us here...) could not resist the plushies in the window at Tokyo Lifestyle Japanese, Galleria Roseville edition. The price tags are what kept me from walking out of here with anything, aaaaand then right into Daiso. Otherwise, wow, the difficulty of passing up so many cute and high quality items. We were greeted by a staff person when we first came into the mostly clean, organized store, and then left alone to browse (just how I prefer shopping, thanks) and giggle at the clearly labeled warnings for things it's sad to say folks need reminders for. Do not pick up plushies and rub them on your face? Wot. So yeah, those photos attached to my review are worth peeking at if you want to be amused. They have soooo many Pokemon and various other Nintendo properties represented among their plushies of all sizes. Just what I need, MOAR stuffed critters. I don't think I've ever seen that many Pokeymen in one place before! The Mario Kart shells were pretty cool too....green, red, and blue. Need a blue irl for Cyber Truck owners. What I could see myself buying here in the future would be stickers, notebooks, and/or stationary. I really liked the notebooks, but the designs I liked most weren't functional for my purposes. Everything *seems* to be imported and again, very nice quality, and this place will cost you because of it. I totally get it, but oof. Out of my tax bracket. Think buying stuffies at Disney properties then multiply by two. A very nice gift for someone who likes Nintendo, Mario Bros, Pokemon, Sanrio, Godzilla, and suchlike can be found here.
