As usual, Nordstrom rack has a good amount of items that you can find. Starting with the purses and bags there is a plethora. The clothes are pretty organized but when it comes to these shoes, it'll take some finding to find what you're looking for at a good price. I love Nordstrom Rack, but I'm leaving this one star to let their management know about my encounter with a lady that goes my "M.J." That's literally what it says on her name badge. She works in the fitting room department, about 5'9" wears glasses and has short dirty pink hair. She looks like she works for Anteefa and she's incredibly rude. She gave me such a bad attitude for no reason. I asked her if she was okay and she just laughed and walked away mumbling something.. I asked for her manager (African American lady with many gaps in her teeth) who wasn't even interested to hear what happened. I asked her for the pink-haired lady's first name and she refused to give it to me, just automatically taking her side. Ruined my whole shopping experience there. While visiting family in Roseville, I realized I'd made the wrong choice in a dress for special occasion. Didn't want to spend much because my normal lifestyle on Hawaii doesn't call for cocktail dresses. Went to the Rack to find a cocktail dress for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Tried on a number of dresses and found a nice knee length black dress with gold zipper down the back. It fit and was just what I needed marked down to $39.00. I was in the children's shoe selection department. The first time my girl told me that they did not have the selection or variety we were looking for. My toddler got a free balloon. The next visit a couple weeks later had a totally new selection of children's shoes. They have Velcro and light imbedded shoes for toddlers here. Really hard to find nowadays. Velcro is nice, due to being able to see if the shoe is snug and or to get on a toddler's foot. The bend was good for my toddler's growth. The shoes in stock I wanted for my boy for nighttime and or Halloween especially since they had dinosaur shoes. The really hard ones to find are the Velcro's my boy gas. Which are the Adidas all-stars with just three Velcro straps. Miniature versions of my shoes, and they are expensive. Almost the price as an adult shoe, worth the cost. Note. Your child's foot growth is important for posture and comfort. Which in turn relates to mood of said child. To the point, this style goes on easy and slips on easy with easy adjustments. Bends well too. My toddler was not impressed, due to just literally buying him shoes he liked somewhere else the same day at the mall. Toddlers are smart, they understand one only if you tell them and he understands that he wants to wear only that new shoe he bought. Which had cars on them. The staff were polite, and my toddler got another balloon. Except the person seemed annoyed at getting a balloon. I am guessing the advertisement from the free balloons kept getting people in their department. Working as intended... That being said the balloon comes with a weight holder, string and not overinflated so it won't pop on you. A helium balloon. With that being said, a majority of the shoes are properly suited for a child's development with proper bend and firmness for the toddler. As a reminder that some children have wider feet. My child has a bit wider foot, so a lot of the shoes that dont have velcro are harsher on my child. IMHO they are throw backs no one buys but are there due to someone getting a massive discount for a reason overlooked... read more

Experienced the worst customer service from a cashier today. Normally, at least a greeting or a smile but this lady is pouting the whole time I was paying. Much worse when I paid a hundred dollar bill & 20s and her money checker thingy wasn't working, like it was my fault. The store can get busy but customer service is usually pretty quick. Their accessories department is always pretty filled and most of the time very tidy. Mondays can be messy from the weekend but they seem to recover quickly and the floor team in the accessories department are always so sweet and more than helpful. I love that they offer name brands that come from Nordstrom at a discounted price with make it worth shopping for the bargain deals. They also do clear the rack every season which is an additional 25%off on all red tag clearance in the store. The staff there is always very happy and friendly which makes for a nice experience. read more

Saturday late March 2024. My wife says "I ordered 4 swimsuits on-line and they are ready for me to pick-up at the Rack". Off we go. And arrive to find that there are at least 150 people waiting on the line to approach the cashiers. Of which only half the cashiers are staffed by employees. Me: "Screw this. We are not going to wait on-line for 90 minutes for your swimsuits. Let's try our luck Tuesday morning". Nordstrom Rack manager: Staff appropriately. Hire more employees if you need. I was unhappy in 2011 when i previously reviewed this store. This event was an even worse experience. read more

I popped into the Roseville store. I usually shop at the Novato store. I live in Sonoma and planning to move to Roseville. I was shocked. The store is a total mess. It's over crowed, unorganized, and a sad representation of the Rack as a whole. The Galleria is a nice place to shop, so I expected better. I'm going to check out the other locations in the Sacramento area, and am hoping they are being operated cleaner and organized. So disappointing!! I should have taken a photo. Best shoe selection ever! The workers are nice, and there is one guy that went above and beyond. If something is under lock-&-key you'll have to wait (a time or two I've had to ask for someone twice) because only 1 person has the key. But overall it's a great store. read more

It can get disorganized, but the customer service at this location is excellent. An associate accidentally didn't put an item I bought in my bag and when I called them, a manager offered to bring it to me at work on her lunch break. I went to this store because my daughter wanted to go in. I have not purchased at Nordstrom Rack for years, because I believe it isn't that great on sales and the clothes aren't that great either. Maybe you can find a good purse and shoes here. But that is only my opinion. But I am writing this to make buyers beware: I decided (against my own judgment) to purchase a few items from the beauty isle.... 3 items for almost 100 dollars. Some items weren't price but I anticipated them to be a 'deal'. I got home and compared the items I purchased online. I could have saved on all the purchases at Walmart or Ulta. Specifically 1 item stood out as it is 20 dollars CHEAPER at Walmart. Same size. WHAT? Even if the box hasn't been tampered with, ALL beauty items are final. I mean, who wouldn't like Nordstrom items and at cheaper price without having to visit the mall? ME! ME! Me, all day. Granted, these are often last previous season items but my style is pretty classic and I tend to like things that I can wear again and again. Here is a perfect example! I saw a summer dress/ bathing suit cover up even here for sale. It was long, black and sleeveless. It was selling for around $40 bucks. Great deal since I bought the same dress the previous season for about $100. I wish they had another color so I could have 2. Great deals, great jewelry and even make up to browse. Not all the Nordstrom Rack stares are the same. This one in Roseville is one of the good stores they have. This store is better organized than some of the other Nordstrom Rack stores. Also, this is one of their busiest store in the Sacramento area too. However, the store is a little too tiny compared to the number of customers that have in the store at the regular base. The clothes, footwear, and ornaments in this store are always updated and good looking. It doesn't like some stores only have the stuff return by customers' online orders! Yes, A lot of local stores become a return center for online purchases the customer doesn't want! Some of the stuff looks old and used! AS most of the discounted stores. They don't have many sales reps on the salesfloor helping the customers. But the cashier is very fast. The line moving very fast even it looks very long so times! The parking lot is shared with many other stores in the same mall. It is very busy most of the time. I have to take the first available parking space when I see one. Amber the manager is a rude, racist, ageist, sorry excuse for a manager. I went to Nordstrom Rack in Roseville, CA yesterday to make a return. When the cashier wasn't willing to help me, I asked to speak to the manager because surely there was something she could do. Once Amber finally arrived, I was treated like I wasn't worth her time, I didn't even get a "hello". She treated me like garbage and said there wasn't anything she could do and started walking away as if I couldn't be less important. I said to her, "you don't have to be so short with me" and she said "I'm not, you're just making everyone wait". Spoiler, she was being very short and rude, treating me like I just ruined her day by having simple questions about my return. I had to wait too, but I'm far less important than your employee and customers right Amber? It's not like I'm a loyal Nordstrom customer, I'm just some young, dumb, Mexican woman, right Amber? I left crying, shaking, and having my whole day ruined due to her rudeness. It's beyond me how she's even a manager, she has zero customer service skills. This is absolutely unacceptable treatment at a Nordstrom Rack store, let alone from the manager! I filed a corporate complaint and I hope she gets fired so nobody has to be personally victimized by her again. I guarantee if I was an older, affluent White woman that she would've been a lot kinder and gracious with her time. Very sad. I went back across the street to the Nordstrom store and told the manager there about my awful experience (still on the verge of tears, mind you) and low and behold- he helped me with my return! Looks like there was something you could've done, right Amber? There's always exceptions that can be made, I just wasn't worth her time apparently. I will never shop at this store again. Nordstrom Rack always has high end brands at great prices. They don't always have all the sizes in stock but it's always worth checking their online site. I love their selection of shoes and have found many of my favorite high end brands there for affordable prices. Gets a little crowded at peak times but we'll worth shopping there. read more

Dropped by to return some hairspray. They didn't want to take it even though I'd never touched it and it was obviously brand new and untouched. They finally took it back but the manager felt compelled to tell me how she was going to call the store manager at my store about five times. I told her to go ahead and do that (I really felt like it's none of my business what you do as long as you take the return)and thus the three star rating. I usually don't shop here but my wife and daughter does. Today was an exception and since I was in need of new flip flops, I decided to buy me a nice pair. The pair I purchased was $16.97 down from $35.00 (great price =) My son also got a nice pair of Pumas! This Nordstrom Rack is pretty packed with nice items but even tho they're discounted I still feel they're up there in price therefore that's one reason I don't shop here much. I don't normally shop at Nordstrom Rack but I was given a gift from there that didn't workout so I went to make a return. The girl who helped me I believe her name was Kayla was extremely short with me and was talking crap about the customer before me while helping me. She didn't ask how I wanted the return and it went back to the original card instead of giving me credit. This is pretty okay place to find yourself some decent brands for decent price . Selection is great. A lot to choose from. They even have higher brand accessories. Come here often. Grabbed lunch at Garden of Eat'n and decided to do a quick stroll through the Rack (never a quick stroll but it sounds good lol). Great selection of extended sizes shoes for women. Four pairs later, I head to the register before I did any more damage. One of the pairs of shoes were heavily blemished. The store could not discount the blemished shoes so I decided not to purchase them, since I didn't know if the shoe cobbler could shine them back to like new. I really liked the pumps so I planned to hurry to the car and look for them online, before I forgot the name and style. The cashier, Rachel, volunteered to write the shoe name and number on my receipt (thanks so much Rachel)! Good service, neat store (sometimes other Rack locations can be crazy), and great selections. read more

You have a lost a customer and I'll make sure my large social media following knows how terribly you treated and discriminated against a person with a medical condition. Clearly, your employees don't know the LAW and refused service because of my medical condition. Every single store in this plaza honors medical conditions, even Nordstrom! But apparently Nordstrom Rack is above the law and thinks they can discriminate against someone that is unable to wear a mask. One of my favorite places to browse and look for bargains. This place is very well organized, product is laid out well and organized. Sometimes this pace can get chaotic at times, but the quest to find a great bargain makes the hunt all the more fun. One tip to note is that if the tag is a "Nordstrom Rack" tag, it might be possible that the item may have been produced specifically for Nordstrom Rack and not for Nordstrom. And as such, the product may not be the exact as the product produced for Nordstom. I look for the Nordstrom tags to ensure the top quality product. If the line is long, you can go up to anyone in the green shirts and ask them to ring you up. They will walk you over to a kiosk and save valuable time. You can even have the receipt emailed to you as well. read more

It's been awhile since I have been to this store. They have moved everything around. I do not like it at all. The registers are in a weird place. But I do like how the shoes are in boxes and matched. It certainly makes the shoe area less messy! Plus I like that I don't have to go and get the matching shoe at the counter. Because of the way they rearranged everything, now the dressing rooms are right in the middle of the men's section. I hear that this is the way the other Nordstrom Racks are so I'm sure I will get use to it. read more

Nordstrom stores are huge and have a huge selection. This store was like the remainder of what they couldn't sell to Ross, Marshalls, and T J Maxx. It seemed smaller than other locations. The store was neat and clean but then, there wasn't much there. Prices didn't seem as good as what they had on clearance at Macy's across the way. There are plenty of other stores like this. If you're a bargain shopper who can shop liquidation stores regularly, you'll be able to find what you want for less. read more

I am giving them two stars because ordering online you pay for shipping. I bought a pair of slippers for $44 and they added an eight dollar shipping charge. The slippers felt cheap so I want to return them... I suppose that's at least another eight dollars? So it cost me $16 for a product that I am returning. I think I will stick with Amazon prime, or Zappos with free shipping and free returns. Nordstrom's main store(not the rack) offers free shipping and free returns, if you don't mind paying $100 for a pair of slippers. read more
