They are a local retailer and manufacturer. They source and use quality materials that are natural/organic. I've never experienced any off-gassing, something I'm extremely sensitive to. The longevity of the mattress far exceeds a traditional innerspring. Their mattresses definitely come at a higher price point than if you were to go to Metro Mattress, Dream City, etc., but I have no doubt I will be sleeping on our Sleepmaster mattress for 20 or more years. I can say already that after I first purchased a Linklaen in 2014, I bought a run of the mill pillowtop from Dream City for our guest bedroom. The guest bed has already shit out on us, after hosting a handful of guests and occasionally my sleepy dog. Carol is a wonderful salesperson (and she may be the only one there?), knows her product, is personable and straightforward. She always seems willing to cut a deal for you, especially if you are a return customer. I don't know if this is part of her sales gimmick, but if it is, it is effective as her delivery is quite sincere. I ended up purchasing a Linklaen, which is Sleepmaster's all latex model. It is definitely a very firm mattress, and keep in mind that if you lay on their floor model in the store, it is MUCH softer than what you will actually receive, after being broken in by many backs and butts of people wanting to test it out. When I moved into a bigger house and had a bedroom that could accommodate a king, I went back to Sleepmaster and ended up getting an Archetype pillowtop, which is a bit softer model. It is a traditional innerspring with a latex topper. There is no breaking in period for this model. It feels like it's been your ride or die mattress. It is firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband, and roomy enough for the two of us, a toddler and a dog. The Archetype pillowtop is one of Sleepmaster's most expensive models - including delivery an hour away, it set me back $3402 (I did not purchase the box spring, that was just for the mattress). However! If the mattress lasts 20 years at least, and I'm sleeping on it every night, it breaks out to about .46 cents per night's sleep, and that sounds pretty good to me. I had to be on my highest alert. Also, I was looking at purple mattresses and they had none of the newer versions in their store so I couldn't even try them out. But OK I ended up buying a tempurpedic, at least I was able to lie on it to get a sense of its feel. Well, these are the most expensive mattresses pretty much on the planet. So I placed my order I financed it and that was pretty easy to do. I was told it would be in within the next two weeks. Meanwhile I looked through the return policy. Once again the online return policy is so much better than the in-store. It would've cost me $99 to get the mattress returned and I only had a 30 day trial. Why I continued with this transaction. I have no idea because it just got worse. Three weeks after I ordered and I still did not have the mattress so I called to cancel. I ended up speaking to a woman who didn't know anything about the order and put me in touch with the owner. The conversation was rude and one-sided in his direction. He wouldn't cancel the deal. His explanation was he had a new inventory manager who didn't know he was supposed to expedite the mattress. Their process is to hold orders in the warehouse until they have a full truckload. Who knows how long that takes. Finally it arrived. . Why wasn't that told to me at the time of purchase? So after my mattress was delivered we begin enjoying our sleep on our new mattress. I will say the product is excellent and I would recommend it to anybody. But I would never buy through a store and especially this one. They got worse from here. I thought I'd test the return policy so I read it and I filled out the paperwork online as required expecting somebody to call me as the paper stated to get the return started. When that didn't happen, I called the store and they said we can't help me. You have to go through the people that we mention in the paperwork. I told them nobody called me and they said try again and that they could not help. Well it's probably been about 90 days now and still nobody has called me. What a mess. No wonder this store has such a bad reputation here on yelp. I will never buy a mattress from this store and most likely from any other store again. Buyer Beware!! Raymour & Flanigan have a very deceptive mattress warranty program. Five years ago…read morewe purchased a Sealy Posturepedic Plus mattress with a ten year warranty. We noticed that the mattress had some significant depressions and went back in to purchase a new mattress, which we did, a $5500 Beauty Rest Black mattress. At this time our sales rep stated it would come with a 120 day trial and could be exchanged after a minimum of 30 days if the comfort level seamed off to us. He also said it can with a ten year warranty against depressions. This mattress has been great so far, about three weeks in. My problem starts here. I inquired if our current mattress had the same warranty. He looked up our purchase and confirmed it did in fact have the same warranty. He said to run a straight edge across the mattress and if the depressions were greater than one inch we were covered and we would be issued a credit for the purchase price. Photos will be attached below. In the mean time, the mattress had to stay at our home until a service tech could come out to inspect the mattress. The mattress was stored for the two weeks while waiting for the tech, on its side since there was no available space to store it on a frame as our new mattress had already arrived. Flash forward two week or so, I place the mattress on top of our new mattress to make it easier for the tech to inspect. He comes and goes saying we will receive a call in the next few days. Two days later the call comes in and the young lady states the depressions measure 1 1/4" and therefore are not covered by the warranty. I let her know we have the photos of the depression before the mattress was stored waiting on there tech and even if they were to go by their measurements, 1 1/4" is greater than 1" therefore it should be covered regardless. She gets flustered and says she will have a manager call me back. Two days later and no contact. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and now this treatment. It will be our last purchase from them to say the least. Next step is to contact Sealy directly and then attorneys to fight it out. These are not mattresses that cost a couple hundred dollars but so called top of the line. Raymour & Flanigan should be ashamed of the service they provide, it is completely pathetic and unfortunately for their sake, I'm not the guy to just let it go.

The prices are all clearly, reasonable, and don't vary by any sale seasons. I didn't feel pressured to buy (which is nice if you're kinda crotchety due to bad sleep like I was). The selection is limited compared to other stores but Syracuse Mattress is one of the few places which actually carries flippable mattresses. Additionally the brands they carry were not any I had heard of but my tests all felt comparable. They have hybrid, pillow top, and adjustable mattresses as other stores do. You can get delivery but most of their shoppers pick up directly. I'd definitely recommend stopping in, though check their hours as they're closed on Sunday and Monday.

The color was blah, my feet didn't touch the floor, the seats seemed lopsided with the stuffing. Then, the tears in the seams started. We purchased the furniture from Adirondack Furniture Company so I sent them pictures of the issues. They sent out a repairman. He did a great job, but the next year there were more rips in the fabric and pilling and fabric pulling apart, which we spent extra for the uber durable upholstery. This past spring, bless their hearts, I sent another email about rips in the head rests. Well, the furniture company, Adirondack Furniture Company, reached out to me and offered 100% store credit to get all new furniture 4 years after our purchase date. People...I think this is unheard of in today's world. Today I ordered a new custom recliner (for Buddy) and a new sofa, and I still have a store credit to apply to a chair for me...all expenses, including delivery and removal of the old furniture, is being covered by Adirondack Furniture Company. Excessive force is required to get it to close. I asked for a repair or replacement. The repair man called saying it would be weeks for the part to come in and I said that I can't wait that long. I can't get the lever to work and if I push the end of the recliner with my foot so it will go back in, that doesn't work either. I called their store and was told that I won't get a refund of the white glove delivery fee. I kept saying over and over "but It doesn't work," to which the woman on the other and of the line kept repeating her mantra that it was delivered. Sorry, but that excuse doesn't work. This falls under not fit for ordinary use under warranty law. I shouldn't have to use excessive force to close it. I want a total refund. I paid $758.16 including tax and the white glove delivery fee. I also paid the delivery guys (first recliner) $40 in a tip. Altogether Dunk and Bright owes me $798.16. I want my money back NOW. My primary care provider told me to keep my legs elevated. I have lymphedema. I NEEDED this thing to work. I am disabled and am still recovering from major abdominal surgery. I am very angry.
