I can't speak to the quality of work they do, but I can speak to their complete disregard for safety. Two of their guys were in a truck on the 15 south afternoon with old, beat up wooden fence panels stacked 10+ feet high. Multiple planks flew off of the truck into the traffic behind them and the driver made no attempt to stop and properly secure his load, even ignoring other drivers who were trying to get their attention. I'm aware I only saw one brief moment, but there's no way I'd ever recommend this business to anyone after what I saw. read more

Unreliable and cannot recommend due to lack of communication and no-show for fence repair. Going to keep this factual. Smith Fence replaced a damaged fence for my 93 year old grandmother after a wind storm took it down a few years ago. The fence has begun to warp and become disconnected in multiple places. Spoke on the phone with Chris (at Smith Fence) in Oct 2024 and he said he would absolutely take care of it, but in a few weeks when their schedule opened up. No problem with me, except I did not hear back until I reached out again in January 2025. Chris said he could take care of it the next week and would get back to me with a specific day. I did not hear from him and had to follow up twice over the next few weeks until he responded. He then picked a day and time during the upcoming week. He did not show up at our appointment time or communicate that he was running late. I called and left a voicemail as well as texted. He responded via text 30 minutes after our appointment time claiming everyone had called out sick that day, including himself. To his credit, he did offer to reschedule for later in the week, but my confidence in his ability to keep his word had already been eroded. I am disappointed that I felt compelled to write a review like this considering 1) Chris seemed very nice on the phone and was so proud of the fact that Smith Fence is family-owned and 2) I wanted to discuss replacement of additional fence on the property. read more
