Brought the truck in to get it installed, and they had ordered the wrong hitch. Brought it in a second time, waited at the dealership all day only to find out that only part of the hitch came in. Brought it in a third time only to find out they still didn't have all of the parts. Brought it in a fourth time only to find out they wanted to keep it all day because they didn't know how to install the hitch and they were going to have to call for the instructions and then find someone to put it in. Said if they couldn't find someone, they would send it somewhere else. I finally had enough and told them that they could just load it in the back of the truck and my husband would install it himself. I even looked up the Instructions and it is a 15 minute install. Yes it is heavy, but once it is in the bed, should take 15 minutes. When I said I was just going to take it home, they changed their tune and decided to get it done right then and there. They also never detailed it like they were supposed to. The only people who were busting their butts to help us resolve this we're Jason the sales guy and Jordan the finance guy. It is ridiculous that we are in Texas and they have hired people who don't know how to install a 5th wheel hitch. It took us almost 2 months to finally get our hitch. The only saving Grace was they gave us a free oil change.

When I was…read morein an accident in Lubbock, the on-scene police officers had my vehicle towed to Lubbock Wrecker Service (LWS), but my insurance company (USAA) needed the vehicle at Gerber Collision so USAA attempted to have it towed using A&J Towing. Between LWS arguing about money and A&J's rude customer service my experience has been far from satisfactory. Firstly, the communication is completely unacceptable. I haven't received any updates and I am constantly having to track down people who want to their job. The inability to provide reliable service with basic common courtesy is deplorable. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Secondly, the customer service was terrible. The A&J Towing dispatcher (claimed to be Owner) was rude and unhelpful when I called to inquire about the delay. Instead of providing an update or apology, I was met with impatience and a lack of concern for my predicament. She only wanted to blame me. To top it all off, the price charged by LWS to simply tow (like 10 miles) the vehicle was exorbitant ($400) and far above the reasonable local expectation. This kind of price-gouging is unethical and left a very sour taste in my mouth. Overall, my experience with Lubbock Wrecker Services and A&J Towing have been horrendous. Slow response time, poor customer service, careless handling of my vehicle, and outrageous pricing are just a few of the reasons why I will never use their services again. I highly advise others to look elsewhere for towing and transport needs. It's unfathomable that LWS would risk their companies' customer's satisfaction over a measly $400 dollars, especially when a reputable insurance company is footing the bill, but here we are. Additionally, A&J Towing and Transporting's customer service is horrendous. If the representative was the owner then enough said.

Yet, the original destination was outside the loop. So if that's the case shouldn't the rate be lower? I called the office to confirm and was told that's the rate for anything within Lubbock not necessarily just inside the loop. So, okay, contradicting information. A new Ford Bronco!! I can say that Hamsmith Auto Group went above and beyond my expectations and got us in my daughters dream vehicle for a very fair price! I know because we have searched online and pretty much everywhere for a Bronco! If you're like us when you walk around most dealerships, you dread that salesman speed walking towards you because at that moment you're just there to look and not be hassled! At Hamsmith's dealership it was so different, the owner approached us like a next door neighbor inviting you to a barbecue! They do have sales guys but they all put out that same vibe!! Very chill!! There is another big dealership here in Lubbock that if it weren't for one sales guy that I've bought from multiple times, I wouldn't go there ever because they have 10 salesman you have to walk thru to get inside and all starring me and my wife down like a pack of wild dogs! The guy that helped me was very kind and well experienced in operating the tow truck. He also took a look after getting my car off of the curb.
