That was impossible so I called to complain. The manager claimed this was far superior to traditional glazing. But it looks very crappy and the realtor who is going to sell my house agreed. So I hired someone to get that stuff off so we could put on glazing around the window, but it was so difficult to remove the glass cracked. Yes, minor scratches that Collision Center caused were buffed out. The major deep scratches on my door that CC caused were not buffed out because the shop scratched too deep. It was Collision Center choice to not replace the roof of my car and Collision Center choice to not repair the damage to my door that occurred at their shop.

I stopped by Collision Center of Lubbock and one of the adjusters there did a very accurate detailed description of the work they would perform. She printed out the estimate and walked me through the whole process. At that point i was so impressed that i told her to order the parts and move ahead with the repair. My truck was there about three weeks. It took a lot of work to take off the box and do it back to factory specifications. The GM (Daniel) and owner (Lowell) both made sure that the truck was to my 100% satisfaction. When i picked it up it looked better than off the showroom floor. These are fine people that did me right.

Not the 5 star experience I expected based on other reviews on google…read more Came by in the morning for a quote. It is cheaper than other places. I should have thought about that more at the time. But they could replace the windshield to be ready for pickup by early afternoon. 3:30 pm rolls around and I call asking if it's done yet and they apologize for not calling me to tell me it's done. I inspect the work onsite. There's extra adhesive bulging out on the interior. Some is smeared on a small section of the windshield frame that's between the driver window and windshield. Some of the adhesive is still wet. There's evidence of it on the driver's seat. I ask about it and get an apology. An apology that sounded genuine, but also practiced, many times over. They suggest let it cure for a couple days, no a week, and bring it back and they'll trim the excess with a razor blade. To look at their website you get the impression of an old timey fella who will do you right. Jim seems a nice guy, but he's not the one doing the work due to his age/health, so if you're expecting excellence because he stands behind his name and work, you'll be disappointed. But you're getting what you pay for. Having only replaced 1 windshield, I would look elsewhere before returning. Other quotes from 4.5+ star businesses weren't that much higher and would be justifiable with a more carefully completed job. It was cheaper. 3 weeks later my new windshield is still on. So there's that.
