This company has restored my faith in mechanics in general, and the supposedly outdated view that Americans in general are honest, direct and trustworthy. Coming from the west coast, due to my wife taking a job in bay st.louis, I have virtually nothing but horror stories of mechanics in the area I lived. I took a chance, not knowing any references to a good mechanic, when my truck tried to drive itself independently of the steering input. Mark took me right in, called me back in a timely manner, and talked straight and accurately to me. Then offered the repair estimate, which was fair and competitive. I can't say enough to show my appreciation for coming 2500 miles, to find a mechanic that lives up to the term. As a former mechanic myself, I know of which I speak, Mark and Jennifer are the real, honest, straight shooting and fair establishment, and my abused and used 21 yr old truck was restored to me, and drives better than it has since I bought it with .8 miles on the odo. Outstanding service, follow-thru, follow-up, and pricing. I had my Toyota Tacoma towed to them for a busted oil filter cap that I could not remove. He was very honest with me about the outlook so I didnt get my hopes up and advised I pray for the best outcome. Prayers worked, he removed and replaced my filter cap and I had him finish my oil change that I fouled up.... very good christian man with an honest business and great service. A good honest mechanic is hard to find. Had my Truck in there and they told me the truth. I was expecting something for more expensive but they found out the part was cheaper than I expected. I also had them check my charging system and they checked and said there's nothing wrong with it. No charge. read more

We were visiting family on the coast. My college age daughter met us there. My wife used her car, and the brakes were grinding badly. We learned of the problem at noon on a Friday. They got us right in, fixed at half the expected price, gave a fair military discount and had us ready to roll by close of business. Vacation and financial disaster averted. This place was recommended to me by an older Marine gentleman. When I got there the staff was very pleasant. When I told Mark that I needed and accelerator sensor he started grilling me on why I knew this is what my car needed. I told him I had done my homework spoke to a mechanic, O'Reilly's did a diagnostic oh, and I watched several YouTube videos on this problem. I felt he was very condescending and said that you can't go by what other people say I'll have someone look at it. I was rather irritated but I left the keys with him and 5 hours later when I came to get my keys and asked how things were he said that they cleared everything and couldn't find what the problem was but if you're in town and a light comes on come see us. Then charged me $48. I was angry and out of $48 plus I live 40 minutes away. I will not be going back read more

My car was running rough so a church member of mine told me to take it to this so called Christian repair shop in long beach so I did. OMG!!! The things I could have done with the $600 they charged me just to put on a new spark plug and wire!!! I only paid $1500 for the little car! I paid it because they were holding my car hostage and the last thing I wanted to see was them fix it and sell it for a big profit! A week later I was back for the same problems and was told by the owner that; "well, it is an old car" . That really made me mad cause anyone that knows Toyota's knows that a Toyota with only 100k on it is virtually a new car!! They put another spark plug wire on it and sent me on my way. A few days later it started missing again so I started looking on the internet to see if anyone else had the same problem. I found that water could be getting on and down into and around the spark plug due to the way the plugs were designed to set down into the top of the motor! This is the truth! A $3 tube of silicone fixed my little car and it now has over 300k miles on it and runs as good as the day I bought it!!! Never take your car to this place!!!! Never!!!!!! Christian my ! read more
