Quiet spot. Great gel manicure that lasted just over 2 weeks. My new go to spot.

Went earlier today for a mani pedi. My pedicure experience was good but immediately as more people started coming in my nail techs demeanor changed. As soon as we sat down for my manicure it was over. I kid you not she gave me a one minute "manicure" a sad excuse paint job and sent me on my way. Before I left I explained to her how badly my nails looked and she seemed upset. If you don't want customers complaining about a bad job please do it better the first time! I pay for this service in the hopes of having a relaxing experience. Not to have to shame you into doing your job. I will not be returning. read more

This place rocks my socks off. Every time I have gone in, I have been impressed by the service, the care with which they do their work and so on and so forth. I will go so far as to compare it to the nail salon closer to where I live, which convenience-speaking would make me want to go there. But I have to say, the 10 extra minute trek is worth it. The nail polish lasts longer because of the way Smith Nail attends to the customer. Ci-Ci worked with me today and the 10 minute massage after the manicure and pedicure was a great addition to the regular service I usually get. I like this place. I've been coming here for 3 years and have always been happy with the pedis and the gel manicures. Yes, the ladies talk amongst themselves, but it doesn't bother me. I like their massage chairs too. They give a nice neck massage when the mani is done. read more

I should have read the reviews before coming here. This place is TERRIBLE!! I'm drying my pedi right now in this smelly place and cannot wait to leave here. Such a crappy job. There are 2 Chinese women and they were talking the whole time they were doing their job . However it took only 3 mins for her to finish it. You can tell how bad her job was... I came into this place because I came to early to my sons school and needed to get nails done. The lady that did my nails was pretty rough on my hands she cut me like 3 times.. Hardly spoke at all I understand that she speaks another language but, could have tried a little she seemed upset that she had to even work. The place is very run down and not that clean. All I had on me was my Visa card and half way through I seen they only accepted cash tips. So before she ran my card I asked could she add a couple dollars on my card for tip or I could get her next time no response.. The. She handed my receipt it was 29.50 for a gel manicure I thought she added the couple of dollars she was not that good.. But when I went to sign it she goes NO TIP??? And then started speaking to her coworkers of course in another language so I knew it was about me.. I won't be going back not a great experience I have places closer to my house that do a better job and more friendly.. read more

Bad service. They finished my pedicure in literally 5 minutes and charged me $30 for it. Tried to get a polish change and they just went in with polish with no filing or anything, which is typically included and then wouldn't refund my money. Go somewhere else. read more

Just moved into the neighborhood and tried the place out. While the gel mani/pedi came out good, it took a really long time for the technician to do it (2 hours). What really irked me was that all of the technicians (6 or 7) got into some sort of fight about money and were yelling at each other across the salon for almost an hour. Definitely did not make for a relaxing experience and I found it super unprofessional to do in front of clients. read more

The people are so friendly, they do a great eyebrow wax where they really really care, and spend their time making it perfect. They do a great job on nails as well. (I got a mani-pedi, and it was my favorite so far in Bklyn..) I've been back 3 times, and it's always that good, but Wendy is my favorite. read more

SOLD! I am super super picky about my mani-pedi's. I mean come on!! Over 20$ to do something I can do at home perfectly? And you're gonna half ass it and I have to tip you? No, I want it don't right (please), I don't wanna walk away feeling like I could have done better and feeling bad about spending money I could have saved by not treating myself. These guys are consistently great. Both me and my friend go, she has short nails and I have long nails; both of us receive excellent manicures. The do hit every point; great staff and you don't feel like they're talking about you while they're doing your work, solid pedicures, nice and soft feet, great manicures, no cutting or ouchie mistakes, perfectly shaped nails, great polish (even the sides and tops of ur nails), great massage while your nails are drying (or hell stop in for a great ten min massage), and it doesn't take too long. For those of you with long nails: see Eric! This man has something close to OCD and your nails come out perfect!!! Everything is clean and new and the girls have these cute little outfits Oh and tons of colors and if they don't have one you like just tell them and they'll carry it for you. read more

Great neighborhood nail spot, excellent service and pricing. Very friendly and their massages are top notch - no limo writes fake massages here. Lasting manicures and pedicures and convenient to both Bergen and Carroll st stops. read more
