They carry cute hats, socks, women clothing, toiletries, vases, plant pots, plants, stationaries, leather wallets and more. They have kids corner too. Like a said, "Sweet". We have our ritual of visiting the gardens, then stopping in the shop as a last hurrah. I enjoy seeing how they rotate and display the seasonal merchandise. Since the remodeling, it's even better for visual arrays of goods. The prices are full retail, but they are making money to help support the gardens overall, so I don't begrudge them that. It's also valuable that their buyer(s) choose some diverse items that aren't repetitive with other shops.

The shopping park opened in the 60s and has a couple of miles of individual mom and pop shops and restaurants. There is lots of street parking and multiple parking lots around the area. We snagged a street spot, checked the directory and headed east on Honolulu Ave toward the bookstores I was eyeing. We checked out two bookstores, a candy shop with Knick knacks, a couple of clothing stores, and a few jewelry stores. The area had such a vintage feel; it was great. Shop owners were friendly and helpful. Families walked about and sat and dined at one of the many restaurants with sidewalk tables. Drivers obeyed the posted speed limit and slowed down for pedestrians. We walked and shopped for almost three hours and never even made it to the other side of Ocean View to the stores on the west side...next time. Can't recommend this shopping district enough! We weren't in the market for anything, just more curious about the event and the mission of the Culver City Rock & Mineral Club. Parking lot fills up fast as does street parking in the surrounding residential area so be prepared to walk a bit, it's worth it.

The staff at the entrance greeted us and explained pricing of admission and the options for kids. The pumpkins vary in size and color, the prices are written on the pumpkins, the stems are very long in many of them. The decorations are very cute, Disney themed to generic Halloween themed characters. Some animatronics and moving ones got my toddler a bit scared but he liked walking around regardless. There's a 13 and older section, I only went in for a peek and it seems to be small and probably better at night. They have a little tractor ride section for kids to drive a small tractor around a small track of boxes. The bouncy play area has four large bouncers, for 20$ unlimited it would have been more worth it if the sun hadn't made two of them too hot for the kids. There's a gate door to enter and they provide wristbands for the kids. The restrooms are portable ones near the side. There were lots of boxes of random pumpkins laying around and some things that look like trash. Overall, it was a nice experience and the decor was nice to walk around. I think we had our fill of this as a one time experience and maybe we'll be back given it's so close to a mall therefore parking is not an issue. We took lots of photos of ourselves with pumpkins as well!
