Here's why - The drive-through was fast The window/speaking person was both very clear and very pleasant. Her appearance was neat and clean. (No one wants to be served by a sloppy person, the thought is "how did the sloppy person take care of my food?") My burger was reasonable in size - could have been a little bigger, but more on that later... The french fries were hot, well-spiced and NOT oily - which is unusual these days. Everything was in the bag. Nothing forgotten. Well done, Wendy's in Goldsboro, well done. Burger size - so... Wendy's used to be the restaurant where the burger extended beyond the bun. Now, similar to other fast-food places, that burger has shrunk. Wendy's for decades was distinctive by having the bigger burger and had wonderfully witty ads about this. They were famous. It would be nice to see Wendy's be famous for that again. I would pay more for that.

The owner is soooo friendly and hard working, not sure if she and her family have owned it for generations or not, but they have done an EXCELLENT job keeping the prices affordable, having GREAT food and gives the best customer service that is really hard to find these days! The food was average. It says that they cut the beef at your tableside. If that is true, we did not see it that night. They do bring a cart out with a sample of what you order but it was definitely not cut there. The waitress was very nice and the salad bar is good... but the price vs quality of steak in my opinion was not worth it.
