This is for the Sushi Department specifically. Nothing wrong with the rest of the store. Its like a white trash nightmare, I go in there trying to find a premade Sushi and I constantly see sushi coated with doritos, others made from Spam, etc. what the hell is that? If you are a pretty girl trying to do a return of over $10 in cash, take yourself to another location. I went in to do a return of some items that I paid cash for. I had my receipt and my Smiths card and employee "Rebecca" wouldn't give me a refund of over $10. She had a gross attitude and treated me like garbage. I know her jealousy was the issue because I sent my son in to get the rest of the refund and she refunded him $58 in cash. All of the sudden, they didn't have a policy once he went in for a refund. How gross is that? I have never had this issue at any Smiths and there's no reason why I shouldn't have gotten a refund when I had my receipt and the correct Smiths card that the purchase was made with. I cannot believe that Smiths hires employees like this, let alone makes them a Manager. I will never go back to this location again. I would rather pay the extra $ and take myself to Albertsons, where I am actually treated like a human being. She obviously needs some help because she's insecure AF! I've lived in this community for years and shop at this store all the time. Lately, it's gotten frustrating--you can't even go in without being harassed. There are always people blocking the entrance, asking for donations. It's the same thing on the way out. Love the fact that there's a lot of parking in this Smith's complex. Surprisingly for a grocery store the facility outside and inside is well kept clean! There's a variety of fresh produce to select from and here's the bonus, their Organic Sections are phenomenal! Great deals and very fresh produce. Came here on Wednesday, June, 14th, 2023, around 3pm with my wife and kids. While here I will say this, I was legit approached by a homeless guy begging for money while I was shopping. Yet for 10 minutes this guy was in my area walking around placing items in his black duffel bag. During this time I told one of the cashiers what was going on and two cashiers approached to see what was going on. I told them I normally do not care if a homeless guy approaches me, but inside the store while watching him steal and I am with my wife and kids. So they both told me they are not allowed per store policy to approach any homeless person due to store reasons. Well those reasons were if the homeless person purchases something and we kick them out we could be sued LOL. Yeah multibillion dollar Corporation being sued by a homeless person harassing people in the store and begging for money while stealing. So both cashiers told me they were my witness to what came next was with the Store Manager named Jennifer. Jennifer told me that Security is on it while laughing thinking this is some sort of joke. So yep I told her, her store store policies are trash as this person was in the store for over 10 minutes and then bothering me and my family for money. I told her yeah the priorities are really aligned with PRIDE and shoving it into everyone's faces and kids faces than actually kicking out homeless people who legit walk in asking for money while stealing. 3 Employees gave me there names and numbers as they are witnesses to what took place. Jennifer told me what does Pride have to with kicking out a person. I told her everything, you prioritize pride instead of allowing employees to remove a homeless person. They placed out cupcakes, deserts in for pride instead of removing homeless people legit on camera bothering people while shopping. So Jennifer laughed and walked away. Now here comes discrimination at it's finest, she accuses me of being biased and then has her baggers walk right past the cashier asking for a clerk to bag groceries! I told her I have not one thing again the LGTBQ as I have family and friends who are, but when you push it upon kids even in the form of a cupcake, like really and you allow homelessness in your store isn't right. So as I was done bagging, 3 more homeless people walked right pass her and they were 110% homeless! They were outside begging for money and then came inside. Jennifer laughed and said whatever I can't do anything, and that's when we exchanged words! She blatantly did not care about any homeless people being inside, not one, so called Security approached the homeless guy begging for cash inside the store, they didn't stop the 3 homeless people walking in the store with large bags, and her telling her staff not to help bag groceries over bs pride! If your willing to push pride month upon kids inside your store you should be willing to push out homeless people harassing your customers outside and in. What's even more hilarious is how not 1, 2, 3, or 4, but 5 employees who all witnessed this agreed with me! It isn't even about being right, it was the fact allowing someone to be mistreated in your store and you could give two shits! The Store Manager Jennifer is worthless, disrespectful, and got what she deserved when she thought mouthing off to me and saying foul comments was going to get her no response back from me. My wife, kids, and 5 employees who all witnesses this, all told me she is a worthless pos! She apparently does this often! read more

Smiths used to be my favorite grocery store. In the last three years it has really went down hill. They don't have good discounts anymore and there is hardly anything you need in stock. This is every single week. If you order for pickup and they are out of stock on stuff you already paid for, most the time you don't get refunded. You have to go through customer service which is a pain just to get your money back. Just my last order, Out off 65 items I ordered 10 were out of stock so I either had to get substitutes or I ended up not ordering because they just didn't have it. I'm over Smiths. read more

Smith's at Flamingo and Ft. Apache has really stepped up the selection. Plus this store has a great vibe. I walked in an the greeter said "Woah! You have boba tea! Awesome!" and many friendly people followed, from the girl in the deli who gave me some great recs on Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses to my cashier who reminded me I completely forgot to grab the Red Bull I wanted, to the bag boy who offered to help me to my car. There were some super deals this weekend and I'm so pleased that I didn't miss out. Smith's has really expanded healthy and organic options and they reduced the prices across the board on all of their produces. I use their app, so I get digital coupons and free stuff every Friday. If you don't currently use the mobile app, I highly recommend. This store is a little closer to Summerlin and the cleanliness, friendliness and selection seems to be a step above the other nearby locations. Although this location is not the closest to my home, I happened to shop here once in a while. It is just as good as any other Smith's I've shopped at which is a good thing. Friendly and fast customer service in the meat department and the marinated carne asada (when cooked at home) was good. Not as tender as I had hoped, but seasoned nicely. The Smith's phone app has always worked for me and the stores have always had enough of the Friday Freebies. The layout is clean and I can typically find what I'm looking for. If you synchronize (choose a store location within the app) the phone app with the Smith's you are actually shopping in, it will help you locate items by using the search protocol! That feature has come in handy for me on quite a few occasions as not all Smith's are alike when it comes to said floor plan. read more

For the most part I can find most of what I want. What I like most is that they have the beer section to create your own six packs for $9.99 I like the layout of the store. I can usually find what I need. It is a nice sized store. Slight con is that there are some items I can't find like in other stores. Upon navigating each isle to buy my necessities everything was very clean and well stocked. I know that no one believes it, but the items I got were more expensive than both Target and Whole Foods. I know, I know, you don't believe it, but be my guest and price check things. Then comes over to me and says it will be about 10 minutes, it's closed. Hello, maybe the supervisor should have helped me or perhaps just be transparent and tell me your employee needs to go on break for 10 minutes and if it's ok if I wait. I would have been ok with it but the way she delivered it was as if I didnt hear her and that I didn't matter. After sitting in my car for 15 minutes, I go back in to be advised that their systems are down. Atleast the person that delivered that update to me was apologetic. The grocery store that is a minute away...how I love thee....fried chicken!!! Smiths has there very own deli. We love there fried chicken...its cooked so perfectly. I gotta say it's better than KFC but nothing beats Popeye. Well, smiths chicken price is very reasonable.$ 7.99 for 2 pcs of each (breast, thigh, wing, and drumsticks). I went yesterday and for some reason I paid only $5.99 for 8 pc...dont know if it was a special but you can't go wrong. Better to go early sometimes they don't have much left but its a hit or miss. This Smith's is readily available to me since I live close to it and it has almost everything I need. Their baked goods are also fresh which I like and their produce are in good condition. Their ready to eat foods are also flavored well, like their rotisserie chicken. The staff are often times helpful and I wish that they're open later like they had it before where it was 24 hours but of course that's a Smith's corporate thing so it's not the locations fault. The store is generally well stocked and clean. Front management listens to suggestions - for example, I noticed the bakery always seemed to run out of my favorite bagels by 9:30/10AM. I asked and they fixed the issue. The produce department is generally well stocked but tends to be of very ripened fruit you need to eat within 2/3 days. I LIKE that their "Home Goods" entrees are easy to find near the deli department area and that the products themselves are kept WITHIN the case so they stay the proper temperature. I agree with the big round display of meats by the door is more of an annoyance than a help - put some bins there instead. I agree it's easy to get INTO this parking lot, but if you want to get back onto Flamingo eastbound, it's a trick worthy of the Strip. You have to exit onto Ft. Apache by taking a right, take a right onto Saddle, follow down to El Capitan, take a right again near the fire house to reach the set of lights that connects El Capitan to Flamingo BEFORE you can finally get back eastbound on Flamingo. We only live 1.6 miles away to DRIVE TO the store, but it's almost double coming home due to the weird loop you need to make due to all the new middle-of-the-road islands put in recently. read more
