Ok, so we have fuel pumps, which means this starts with an automatic 4. Inside, bathrooms were nice. I perused the store a bit, nothing absently that while the staff was friendly to a person, the lack of selection on the shelves is one of the major things that would prevent me ever considering living in a place like Wendover, despite there being a lot of kind of cool stuff about this town. I'm probably spoiled, having so many very good stores in my vicinity, but this seemed a bit on the low side, even for the area. Today I went into Smiths in Wendover and it was an awful experience.. there were three young men at the register, one sitting on top of the counter on his phone. The other long-haired kid let the up till everything was at the bottom there was no customer service to go get another cart to put the stuff in so everything got smashed up and the customer service was awful read more

Time, yet again, for another review. I really don't like this store. I've been to other Smith's in other towns in both Utah and Nevada but this store is the worst of all of them. Poor customer service as well as employees who think nothing of being rude to customers. I've said before that it's cheaper for me to drive to Salt Lake City Utah or Elko Nevada to shop. I only go to this Smith's if a have too and am always disappointed. Wendover desperately needs another store but between Smith's and the casinos, getting any new business is almost impossible. I've called Smith's head office and my impression is that they know it's a horrible store but there is no other place for the community to shop. Smith's of Wendover could do a much better job of serving their community. If another grocery store came to town this Smith's would be finished. read more

when you go to your local food store to shop and you end up witnessing a customer getting verbally harassed by an off duty pharmacy employee. i have lived in this small community for 20 yrs and i had never witnessed such vulgarity and unprofessionalism from an employee towards a customer. whatever the situation was this off duty employee shouldn't have acted the way she did and she should be fired from the facility... smiths you need to step up your game when it comes to training your employees in customer service read more

Everything is great EXCEPT THE PHARMACY DEPARTMENT!!! i have NEVER encountered such a VILE AND RUDE person.!!! The employee by the name of maria is horrible! She has a horrible attitude and knows NOTHING of customer service.. once you walk up to the counter she talks to you like you are stupid and bothering her. Ken and Denise go above and beyond to help you but management should really consider replacing their grouchy disgruntled employee. if you do not like to provide great customer service then maybe work somewhere you dont have to interact with people!!! read more

The store itself is great, our cashier Amanda was a little too overfriendly with my husband though. I didn't think it was very professional how she was flirting with my husband and getting giggly with him, biting her lip and playing with her hair. Then two weeks later, my husband stopped in to grab a few things and she gave him her cell number. That topped the cake! We do not shop there anymore. We shop in Salt Lake or Elko now! read more

The store it self is a ok place to shop at but what sucks about it is when there Money order machine goes Down as it very disconcerting and a Big inconvience to customers who need these services to pay bills and send out money orders for things that require this service just to be billed 150.00 dollars and have it rejected by way of a Postal Money order that is not accepted as form of payment because Smith's Food King inconvienced its customers for there lack of fixing there money order machine or Not providing a Back Up for its customers who live here in Both Sides of Wendover Nevada and Utah read more

Such a great grocery store! They have everything! If they don't have it they usually can order it. Everyone there has such good customer service and is always willing to help with anything! I like the bbqs they do in the summer! The only thing I wish is that they were open past 12. read more

could use a remodel for 5 stars. casino shuttles will take u here. it is a smaller smiths, but they have plenty of cold beer, ice, and a good sized deli. great for casino weekends, or a place to replenish cooler goods. gas station out front as well. read more

I contacted this grocery store, as I know they have a floral department, to have flowers delivered to a local hotel, as a thank you to friends of mine. The flowers were delivered, as requested, but the arrangement was so unattractive. The flowers were not cleaned and were just shoved in an ugly vase. No greenery. Smith's food is at the west end of Wendover NV. The store is really nice and clean. The produce department was very nice. The staff was very helpful. We were glad to find a store there wasn't much in Wendover. read more
