    Fantastic, amazing, wonderful. So glad we had her on our team for our Oct 2023 wedding and reception at UC Berkeley Botanical Garden and Redwood Grove. She completely knew what she was doing from the start. We really got to start talking to her in late August which was a relief. She communicated with the laid back catering manager when I couldn't. She communicated with everyone! I was grateful for her level of organization and attention to detail. She helped us stay calm and on track. Her and her assistant made the event space look exactly how I wanted. We found out about a week before the wedding that the cake we ordered wouldn't fit in the fridge at the venue. So, we called the bakery and asked for 2 half sheets instead. The venue said that there still wasn't space because of the caterer. We determined it would be easier for someone to transport 2 half sheet cakes instead of a whole sheet cake the evening of the wedding. Adrienne offered to pick them up during the reception. When she got there they only made one half sheet cake. But, she was able to get the other half of our order with the tiramisu they had available. We ended up with more than we paid for (an extra 8 inch cake). I had no idea any of this happened until she emailed us the morning after. She's a boss. Thank you Adrienne!

We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. Although we did not purchase a full package from TDE, Carina and Jackson worked seamlessly with the rest of our chosen vendors. They (and the TDE team) were extremely organized, communicative, and supportive. One thing I really appreciated was that my husband was cc'd on every single email so that I wouldn't have to play middle man to relay every message to him as well. On the day of, Carina and Jackson went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. They were so thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire process. We got so many compliments from our family members about Jackson's MCing. Our wedding party also really loved how Carina kept everyone organized and on schedule. Otis was kind with great attention to detail from the start. Ultimately, we decided with the glam package and our contract was very clear to understand with cost breakdown for removal of specific services / add-ons. I updated it many times with Jessica, our planner, as we made changes throughout the months, and she was always so patient and clear. Our MC Otis did a wonderful job with maintaining flow of the program. Otis was also working as DJ for a good portion of the evening, so props to him! We had closer to an hour compared to 1.5 hours of open dancing because we were behind schedule, but everybody was on the dance floor and he kept the party going seamlessly. Weddings are hectic and there are so many moving parts; we did get behind schedule but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Our photo & video services were set to end, but Otis was very professional in discussing with us if we wanted to extend our video services, communicative on additional cost, at the moment. Our photographer, Ben, along with the team Stanford and videographer, Christina, were so fun to work with. Ben was great at providing direction, which is especially helpful since we were not used to posing. I have not received photo & video yet as it has only been a week, but from an experience standpoint, they were attentive to detail, communicative, and glided effortlessly through the event. My makeup artist, Vivi, is the sweetest person. She was super attentive to detail and my particular skin type. I was worried about makeup because I don't wear heavy makeup often. I ended up paying for a make-up trial, and I was so happy working with Vivi that I had no worries for the wedding day. We also added-on make up for our mothers, which Vivi did the morning of. The reception decor turned out so pretty! Everything was set-up as scheduled. I was really happy with the welcome backdrop and name sign. It was also great to take pictures with guests with the backdrop since we had time during cocktail hour. We asked TDE to incorporate a large screen as the backdrop of our sweetheart table, so we found an example from a previous wedding they did, and it turned out exactly as expected. We added the photo-booth, which was so popular with the guests! There were so many cool props and our guests were having tons of fun with it. I also sent TDE a custom drawing that I wanted for the photo strips- and it turned out just like I imagined. We chose Grand Dynasty as our reception venue, and TDE communicated set-up details with our restaurant event manager, Esmond, in the days leading up to the event. I highly recommend TDE and the team that we worked with! Thank you for making it an unforgettable experience.

Nothing was overlooked - decorations and interior design, logistics and timing, food/beverage/refreshments - everything was intentionally considered, cohesive, and truly professional. And just as importantly, the All Set Events team is warm, graceful, and incredibly hospitable which makes working with them a stress-free and truly delightful experience. Her team comes in focused and organized but without the attitude you sometimes get from event planners. Just watching them set up is amazing--every staff member has a floor plan and job to do. Just like a "well oiled machine" they get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible! They are always in control of the situation and I actually have fun watching them set up. All Set Events handles everything from the coordination of sound and light production, food and beverage service, to stage and decorations. Setting an atmosphere and creating a dramatic first impression is what All Set Events does best. Each event's success depends on all of these things coming together in an organized and united way--and Heather and her team do it with ease. There are always several different vendors at these huge events that have questions and Heather and her team are always the "go-to's" for answers. I had searched and searched and even met with a couple other party planners and event specialists. This business has so many qualified people who can really pull out all the stops. I was really looking for a genuine connection with the person that I chose to work with for our very special event. I am so thankful that I was able to find that connection with Marshecka and then some!! The event I was planning was my daughter's Quinceanera. One of the most important days in a young woman's life in the latin culture! It is an event that comes together with the love and support of the entire family (immediate and extended) . Marschecka was so patient and accommodating as I had constant input and ideas that I was sharing with her. I was working with a budget but wanted the world :-) Marschecka was absolutely amazing when it came to taking my vision and working within my means!! She was able to secure a vendor that provided uplighting for the entire ballroom. WOW!! It was so beautiful! Just the lighting alone added such an amazing touch of class!! My family and daughter's friends complimented the lighting so much! She also secured a vendor that took care of the balloons for us. It was very important to us that we have balloons but that the room did not look informal or too childish. Marshecka and her vendor took our vision and found the perfect way to compliment the ballroom!! My vision was for the entire ballroom to have draping. I saw so many pictures online of events that were just breathtaking because of draping!! Unfortunately, that amazing decor comes at a very expensive price and I didn't have the budget for it. Marshecka was able to take the budget I did have and the vision I had and designed an absolutely magnificent backdrop and head table decor!! It was such a beautiful focal point!! Marshecka's style and execution was more than I could have imagined!! It was so wonderful to hear family and friends feel like they were at a royal event without it compromising my budget!! Marshecka was has a great heart and compassion!! I recommend her to anyone looking to plan a special event! I was in the latter category, and having never participated in the wedding planning process, I had no idea what a wedding coordinator did. I only found Marshecka after I had given serious consideration to cancelling what should have been a low key wedding reception. Simply stated, a wedding coordinator is the person you don't know you need until it really starts to hit the fan. When you're feeling overwhelmed, when your vendors go MIA after you've accepted their bid, when you have no idea how your venue is going to get setup in time for your event, when those you've hired to help aren't getting the job done, and when your significant other doesn't really seem interested in anything wedding related, this is your go to person. Do yourself a favor and hire Marshecka at the initial planning stages. Wedding coordinators may seem expensive, but you'll save yourself time and money if you aren't wedding savvy. My family and friends that came to help setup our venue and deliver the décor had nothing but positive things to say about Marshecka and her team. When they needed something, her response was, "I'm on it." I thought she was a bargain for all of the work she got accomplished, and believe me, with all of the décor and vendors at our reception, she had a lot of work to do. My only regret was not hiring her sooner, because I think she could have made my life much easier.

MY advice: definitely get the handheld CO2 cannon gun! Our friends were speechless and have never seen anything like it. It kept the vibes up the whole night (just look at the photos). We were having a hard time finding a relatively younger DJ in the wedding industry that would understand our music tastes and came across the Bilo Events page. When I saw DJ DUBYANG in the lineup, I knew it had to be him! We know that he used to play at Arena SF, and that's exactly the vibe I wanted at my wedding -- club/EDM music. We were totally right because he mixed the music sooo seamlessly and felt out the crowd. No notes!! 10/10. Fire set. Everyone had the best time. We keep getting compliments from people telling us about the excellent music choices. He also had a great pool party playlist he recommended for cocktail hour that was perfectly curated. It was giving Vegas day club. :-) We wanted to change the timing on our processional and grand entrance songs and they were able to loop and cut those no problem, even when we asked the day before the wedding. They use a custom wedding planning & music curation app that easily allowed us to upload the exact version of music we wanted from Spotify/ Youtube/ SoundCloud for all parts of our ceremony and reception and write notes that we wanted them to pay attention to. It was really easy to navigate! Winston checked in on us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process and had a few meetings with us. So easy to work with and so nice! He was able to understand the vibe we were going for quickly. Wedding day, everything went smoothly, sound was great, and he was a great emcee as well. We would recommend him over and over again to everyone! Also, they offer a lot of other services, such as photobooth and studio-esque photography. If I had known they offered this beforehand, I probably would have booked some of these services through them as well to make life easier.

Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

    Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard, even a micro-wedding. You don't want to be cake…read moretasting or menu tasting, so you rely on experts. That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True.
