I forget now where I found Adrienne, but had reached out to her and a few other day-of coordinators to compare rates and how we vibed. She was the first one to get back to me and schedule a consultation. From the start, Adrienne's attention to detail was impeccable, and I felt comfortable knowing that she was keeping track of all of my vendors and important dates. She was also always super responsive to my questions, even though I wondered if they were out of her scope as day-of coordinator, like: 1) do you know of other photographers who could photograph our reception? 2) do you know if city hall allows floral decorations? She went out of her way to get these answers for me even way before the month-of, which I really appreciated. Our first in-person meeting was when she came with me to a site visit at our venue. She asked all the questions that I did not know to ask but definitely needed to be asked, and was super helpful in our discussion with the venue about setup of our cocktail hour and decorations. The resulting set-up was different from what I had initially imagined, but actually so, so perfect! In the months leading up to the wedding day, Adrienne sent out questionnaires for our ceremony and our reception that covered everything that needed to be coordinated, down to the small details like who needed corsages/boutonnieres and who would be pinning those. In the weeks leading up to the wedding day, she drafted up our wedding day timeline and sent them back to me several times for review before distributing it to all of our vendors and wedding party. Finally, the day before the wedding, she met with me at the venue to help make sure all of the necessary items and decorations were all delivered and also picked up our wedding license so we did not have to worry about it the day of. Adrienne was also a lifesaver on the day of our wedding. She handled all the little details and snafus that came up so that I didn't have to, including rearranging guests during our reception because my beloved husband agreed to his friends bringing their kids without telling me (lol). She and her assistant also made sure that all of our guests signed our guestbook, and she guarded our card box carefully so things wouldn't go missing. Finally, she helped to wrap up the night by breaking down our candy bar and decorations so that we could head home after our long day, which was so, so appreciated!! All in all, Adrienne is an amazing wedding coordinator. She works well with vendors and is super organized. My mom rarely provides compliments and even she said she was so impressed with Adrienne!! Fantastic, amazing, wonderful. So glad we had her on our team for our Oct 2023 wedding and reception at UC Berkeley Botanical Garden and Redwood Grove. She completely knew what she was doing from the start. We really got to start talking to her in late August which was a relief. She communicated with the laid back catering manager when I couldn't. She communicated with everyone! I was grateful for her level of organization and attention to detail. She helped us stay calm and on track. Her and her assistant made the event space look exactly how I wanted. We found out about a week before the wedding that the cake we ordered wouldn't fit in the fridge at the venue. So, we called the bakery and asked for 2 half sheets instead. The venue said that there still wasn't space because of the caterer. We determined it would be easier for someone to transport 2 half sheet cakes instead of a whole sheet cake the evening of the wedding. Adrienne offered to pick them up during the reception. When she got there they only made one half sheet cake. But, she was able to get the other half of our order with the tiramisu they had available. I am so, so glad Adrienne and her assistant were there to coordinate our wedding. I didn't really understand the importance of a coordinator originally, but now that the event is over, I realize that it simply would not have been possible to have the wedding we had without her involvement. We tried to have a fairly simple wedding, for instance by not having flowers or decorations. However we realized that even a simple wedding is very complicated. For instance, prior to the wedding (and prior to Adrienne's involvement) we had a picnic for family and friends, and the effort involved in buying, transporting, and cleaning up the food was nearly overwhelming. By contrast, the actual wedding, when Adrienne and here assistant were involved, went incredibly smoothly. Whenever we needed something it just appeared, and at the same time they were also around whenever we needed to ask something. She went above and beyond to help us coordinate and manage one of the biggest events of our lives. Our venue was a beautiful outdoor venue in the Redwoods however it was logistically very complicated to fit such a big wedding. Adrienne was amazing in helping us with the layout and dealing with the venue managers who were difficult to work with. Adrienne was also great about remembering all the little details. I was shaking in the 50 degree weather during the wedding ceremony and Adrienne rushed to get my fur stole all the way from the other side of the venue. Having Milly there kept me sane when I hit peak stress the day before the wedding and even though I was cool as a cucumber the day of, I know that is because I knew no matter what "Milly will handle it". Milly helped run our rehearsal. She picked up my wedding flowers. She made sure everyone went out in the right way for the ceremony. She made sure people moved from place to place. She made sure all the right photos happened. She made sure all our decor was above and beyond what I thought it would look like. She helped move our toasting party from table to table efficiently. She brought up things I never would have thought of. She kept me sane. She was no joke, a god send. I know you might be thinking you can do it all too. Adrienne is a one-person crew! She has fantastic energy of celebration and professionalism. She had a great process to get to know us as a couple ahead of the event and understand our vision for the day. In addition, she was able to bring her experience and also suggest helpful advice that always felt friendly and was incredibly welcome. She also coordinated between all of our vendors leading up to the wedding as well as the day of activities. Adrienne did an incredible job as our month-of-coordinator for our wedding at Kohl Mansion. We had a lot of moving pieces and were making some non-traditional choices. Adrienne has such a positive can-do attitude that she was one of the only vendors we met who didn't judge or balk at new things we wanted to try. Instead of pushing her suggestions or commentary, she tried to understand and execute our ideas. That's not to say that she didn't flag where we were missing information or important details that consequently would change our minds. Nonetheless, we always felt at ease with Adrienne even as timing was getting tight or things were going unexpectedly the night of. She's very organized and helped us think through a million things we would have never considered (and not in a haphazard way but very efficiently and methodically so we didn't waste time). She also didn't pressure us or pester us even though we still had some major things to figure out in the end. She was very respectful at all times. Adrienne also did a great job of befriending all our vendors and kindly and efficiently keeping them in the loop. She also hosted our rehearsal in such a laid-back and yet productive way which was great for our wedding party as well. During the wedding, I especially appreciated the little things too- like the shout wipes she magically had which removed a red stain on the front my dress or that she offered to carry my bag with my cell phone and purse around.
