Swung by the Smog Guys this morning and was met by owner Aaron Volponi. A real personable and well-spoken guy. I used a coupon that I received in those mailer envelopes and I'm glad I did, $40 out the door. We sat down and chatted as he input my personal information in his computer and conducted my smog test. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into the lobby and find a very clean, cool (it had to be about 100 degrees outside) and friendly environment as a pose to the car shop lobby's I've seen at other smog shops. I was quickly greeted by a really friendly young man who was super helpful and very polite. Smog was super fast I was only waiting about 20 minutes and was out the door with my smog certificate:).... What a difference it makes to have customer care and genuine knowledge in the field of vehicle maintenance and repair! I know this is a smog shop but the gentlemen over at Smog Guys at the new location in Antioch off of Somersville Road were amazing at helping smog two of my vehicles. It is complicated and you really do not need to know the details but lets just say both vehicles had smog failures that I was expecting, one of which I am fixing and will bring back, but instead of just sending me on my way the gentlemen gave me pointers on what the issue could be and for the first vehicle I was able to mitigate the problem fairly cheap and they retested with no problems! Thank you for caring about the customer and genuinely wanting to help, it really shows and we need more technicians in the vehicle repair field just like the technicians at smog guys!
