I just moved back to Vegas from California and had to get my title transferred, get a vin inspection, smog check, registration, and a real id. I've been in Anaheim for 10 years and I lived in San Diego of all places over the summer. My registration and insurance doubled, and I have a clean record. Not to mention getting a gaming card and that whole process is $150, you have to spend money before you even start your first minute on the job just to work. But Brandi made the process super easy and quick, because I got the smog check first, and then the other girl working while Brandi was doing her dmv duties helped with everything. Went there multiple times for years but not anymore. My car fail smog and they charged me again to do a new test(first time they do that). Fail again they wanna charge me a third time. Super greedy only smog in town not giving you a courtesy smog in case you fail. They not even cheap... better options in town. They just lost a good customer for being so greedy and rude. Attendant there was literally CURSING me for asking for a courtesy smog so I don't need to pay a third time for the same car. Imagine paying for a service and being yelled and cursed. read more

I didn't know this Smog Plus kiosk exited. I got a bulk mailer from the company for a discounted price on their smog charge. I have normally gone to a location closer to home but it's always busy and they never kept track of the order people should be taken. I came here and there was no one in line. I gave my discount card to the person running the booth. Within 5 minutes, the smog check was done, I paid, and I had my passing certification sheet for the DMV kiosk I go to. Before I got there, I noticed the person made an error in recording my mileage. Instead of 81,xxx the person had accidentally entered 11,xxx. I called the Smog Plus phone number and a gentleman told me I'd be able to correct that at the DMV kiosk. When the mileage popped up on the kiosk as I was renewing my resistration, it gave me the option to accept or change the last mileage recorded. I changed it to the correct number, finished the renewal, and was home all within about 45 minutes. I'll be at Smog Plus next year with the fast service and reasonable price even without the discount card. read more

I am very impressed with this place. My husband and I recently inherited my father in law's vehicle and I was dreading a trip to the DMV to get it registered. I went to Smog Plus to get the smog and begin the process. Brandi helped me and asked if I had an appointment with DMV yet. When I told her I didn't, she let me know they can register my new vehicle for me at their facility. After reviewing the paperwork, Brandi found an issue with the title and was able to order us a new title so we could register the vehicle without any issues. I would have spent hours at the DMV to be turned away for a silly issue and I'm just so happy that she caught that and was able to help me. I had to call the facility a couple of times with questions and everyone was very patient and helpful. As someone who is new to owning a car and being a grown up, I could not be happier with how my smog check went here!! I called ahead to make sure I didn't need an appointment, the phone service was friendly and informative. When I got there, getting my first smog check was super easy and painless and quick. This is the second time I went to this place after receiving their coupon for $19.95. The first time was fast. But the second time, they make you wait forever. Employees do not seem to have any sense of urgency. I read though they accept competitor coupons. So, I went to another smog place 1.5 miles away and they honored Smog Plus coupon but with 1/3 time the wait. So, if you like to wait, this is the place to be. read more

I showed up and I'm the second person in line. The customer in front of me had already been smogged and was checking out. I waited ten minutes for her to finish checking him out. Next, I pulled into the parking space and she didn't know where to look for the vin number. After finally finding it she took another five minutes trying to physically plug in the smog tester. Multiple times she goes back to it to readjust it. Finally she comes back and tells me it fails for "communication failure" and that I have to go to the dmv. I go to another smog place and I pass and am finished within ten minutes. The workers here are clearly untrained. No customer should still have to pay $20+ to not have their car sm the workers do not know what they're doing. Train your employees better. read more

Went for a smog check and registration for DMV. They asked for $450 which is $100 over what DMV said it would be. I questioned it and the gal inside said to her co worker, oh, let me see, then the new amount was $405. I paid the $20 with the $3 coupon and went to AAA on Charleston, paid $350, got the tags, registration papers and was done. i am a surviving Veteran spouse, a senior but NOT STUPID. AVOID. I have an electric car with a range extender (small gas engine that only recharges the battery). Yes, it's a crime that NV wants a smog test on a car that has no catalytic converter. The blond lady couldn't figure out how to perform the test, so she sat in my car watching a YouTube video. Then she yelled at me that there is too great of a battery charge. When I explained that the small engine so doesn't turn on until I have less than 30 miles of charge left, she corrected me and yelled some more, showing me the YouTube video on her phone. Apparently YouTube makes you an engineering expert at minimum and definitely helps you know more about a vehicle than the person who owns it. I left without any resolution. read more

There were only two people ahead of me, but I waited for almost an hour until it was my turn for a smog check. The guy was on his personal phone half the time and moving at a glacial pace while getting the paperwork together for every single one of the customers. Then after the smog check, he turned off the engine, left my keys in the car and closed the door. My keys were locked in so he called a locksmith for me, but I had to pay it even though it was his fault! Didn't even give me a verbal apology. I will never come back here, and will make sure that nobody I know comes back here either. I didn't expect to get amazing service, but this was just so much worse than I expected. read more

I have gone here for the last 10 years and my whole family does too. The staff must have changed and these two girls that work there had no idea what they were doing. On my 08 Silverado they plugged into the obd II scan but this time they put the tail pipe reader in too (never been done before) they say and revved my truck at like 2500rpms for 2-3 min and didn't get a good read and repeated the process. I came back with a fail and they said they had do to the tail pipe read because of the year of the truck. After calling shops and investigating you ONLY need the tail pipe reader if you don't have obd II and your vehicle is 1999 and older. Super disappointed with the service and knowledge of this place. This is my first ever failed vehicle. Will be going back to get my money back and maybe speak to a manager read more

I can't recall the name of the gentlemen who helped me, but he was awesome! Got my smog and registration plus title transfer done here and it was a BREEZE. Everything took less than 20 minutes. The man who helped me was incredibly kind and had no problem staying on the quiet side so my 10 month old would stay asleep in the car. I took one of my cars down to get a smog check and registration renewal. First car, no problem got my registration renewal a day later. Took my second car there and a week and a half later, nothing. We call, its not ready. We stop by another day, still not ready. I call a week and a half later and I am told over the phone that it is ready for pick up. My husband goes down to pick it up and they can't find it. They have their nerve to say that they called to notify us that it was ready for pick up, which is not true...obviously because they don't even have it there when my husband goes to pick it up. When I call back to confront the person (Joshua) he says that it is sooo busy and things get mixed up and in the middle of my rant (because I am upset at this point) he hangs up on me. Amazing! This place is great, I got my car registered even though I have an out of state license the same day. When I arrived I wasn't entirely sure what documents I'd need,'they were helpful and quickly let me know the dealership hadn't given me one paper I needed, and as soon as I picked that up and brought it back I completed the transaction in minutes with them, went on with my day, and was able to pick up my plates a few hours later!!! Worth the reasonable fees ($85) to never step foot in the DMV, only deal with nice people, and save soooo much time! read more

Never again!! FOUR visits for plate registration. Total waste of time and money. First time I came down I was charged $281 which I thought was pretty expensive for my year car, then was told I'd be getting a call when I could pick up my plates. I didn't get a call until the following day saying I needed to bring the car down to get smogged. Why wasn't this done on my first visit? Before I drove all the way down there I asked if I'd be getting my plates same day because I live far... Dude says yes so I head down straight after work. I get there and of course I'm informed they could only do the smog and I could come get my plates the next day. I drive down the next day. Plates aren't ready. I get a call TWO DAYS later saying my plates are finally ready & once I requested a receipt I'm told I have to sign a paper saying I cannot get a refund BEFORE HE WOULD GIVE ME MY PLATES which also states my registration was only $225 and they charged me a $55 "service fee." I payed you all $55 to have me running around town and wait FIVE days for my plates???? Total rip off! I could've went to the DMV myself and waited a few hours to get my plates my self same day for free!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Go to the DMV for anything other than smog. read more

Well, that's not true, after hours of calling the location someone finally answered and had the audacity to tell me that "if i want the CHANGE come and get it".
