honesty, having most of my dmv experiences in California. I have always been more than surprised by how much better of an experience it is consistently going to any Las Vegas dmv. it's not just the snack bar, or the fact that you can leave your phone number in a robot and have him message you when you are about to be summoned. somehow in a state where you can kill and rape kids as a mental health care provider and get away with it. practice and license intact. the dmv remains a pinnacle of excellence. I could never give the dmv 5 stars you people are not that good. still though. 4 stars is 5 stars at the dmv imho. read more

The recent reviews to the right (or below) are for the DMV, not for this company. Don't pay attention to them. Chris was great. I tried 2 or 3 other places and they were rude, or across town. Chris came to my home and I was able to leave my documents outside on the porch for him where he returned them to me. The best money I ever spent. I bought a classic vehicle, out of state, and he took care of everything, even the personalized plates. He underpromised and overdelivered, telling me it would be 3-5 days but actually getting it done the next day. As a business owner with the same philosophy, that's the kind of business I like! Very misleading and rude. After receiving answers that did not seem accurate, I point blank asked representative the nature of this business. He stated "DMV". I then asked "DMV Nevada"? Only then did he reply "no". I then said "owe....so you stand in line for people ". Response..."No...we don't stand in line!" Furthermore, after contacting DMV, the information I was given by the person answering the phone at this business was incorrect! Going to the DMV is stressful enough - add on a pandemic and restricted people inside makes it more stressful however the staff at the Sahara location were phenomenal. I have always gone to the Flamingo location and it can be a hit or miss in regards to the service. Kelly, Grace, and Martin were a breath of fresh air. They were all so kind, friendly, and took their time to hear me and help me. This now my go to DMV after my fantastic experience here. read more

Oh my dear GOD! Braving the DMV to get an address change (do yourself a favor and do it on line) and to assist the daughter in navigating the horrors of obtaining her learners permit. Here is a business idea for someone. Create a DMV gofer who you pay to stand in line, fill out paperwork and sit with all the diseased freaks coughing and hacking around you as you wait outside or down the road at the coffee shop. I would pay at least $100 for the service. This DMV is kinda confusing as you walk into chaos and if you dont realize you need to jump right into line you walk around like an idiot. A simple sign saying "Welcome to the DMV, Everyone needs to start by entering this line" would save a lot of confusion. Well Im still 100 freaks from the front of the line but the daughter is inside the isolation chamber for her test so fingers crossed we wont need to come back to re-test! read more

Bring lunch and dinner. It literally takes hours and hours. This year is my driver's license renewal date, so I thought it would be a rather quick transaction to complete. Wrong! Arrived in line at 1:10 PM and of course stood in the long, looping line which snaked back and forth - about 25 minutes deep. Finally got to the desk, where she wrote down my cell phone number and told me that they would be texting me the status of my turn. She gave me 3 pieces of paper, one of which to fill out...the rest to read. Well now they offer 2 types of licenses: Real ID licenses or Standard licenses. Apparently sometime after January 1, 2016 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will require a person to have a Real ID compliant license if they wish to board a plane or enter federal buildings where ID is required without showing a passport or other documentation. Naturally I chose the Real ID. Either way, they need all kinds of proof of identity which I did not have - so in a way it was good that my wait time was 408 minutes, with 153 people ahead of me. Yup, they texted me a total of 11 times, keeping me updated on my status. This gave me time to go back home and retrieve the required documents. I returned at about 4:30 PM and was out at 6:12 PM. Didn't know it, but I could have made an appointment online and avoided the long wait. But then I still would not have known about all the other documentation they required. Oh well, now hubby knows what to do when his turn comes. read more

I've never dealt with more incompetent, inefficient people in my life! The State charges all these "fees" when you register and re-register your car. I'm convinced it goes to pay top executives because it sure the hell doesn't go to their operations or staff. I'm literally sitting here while they manually tell people what window to go to. What's the point of making an appointment when you're stuck in a system that goes no where. The people at the windows, in particular the driving test windows that check you in are about as useless as they come. The only person that was nice and actually helpful was Michelle. I've lived here 19 years and the only thing the State of Nevada officials and representatives are good for is looking out for themselves and having incompetent State businesses such as the DMV read more

Today I was at DMV and observed and older gentlemen, with his oxygen tank, wait for such a long time because two younger couple utilized "counter 31" which is meant for people with "disability". This is not fair for people with disability. DMV is usually jam packed and there should be a better system to take care of the disabled. This occurred between 1pm and 130pm. read more

Alot of people told me that this DMV was extremely slow and that it will take all day. But for me, it was far from that. I went online prior to me going to the DMV to find out what are all the necessary information and documents I needed. With everything in hand even though it was alot of people in there it was fast and very convenient. The young lady that helped me looked as if she had an attitude but wasn't rude at all to me. She answered all my questions and made it fast and easy. Also as well the other young lady at the information desk was also extremely helpful. For me my experience was a piece cake. I recommend if you go here for services check online first for fee estimates and to see what documents you need before hand. Take it from me I'm from Southern California so the lines and thr wait was short compared to what I'm used to. read more
