Needed a smog check for the first time and I'm so glad I found this place. As a young female, I'm often intimidated going to car garages because I know absolutely nothing about cars and don't want to get oversold or taken advantage of. I needed a smog check in order to renew my registration and after reading the great reviews decided on this place. I was a walk-in and there was one person in front of me but was attended to quickly. I love how clean and organized this car garage is. There are three lanes for different car purposes. I was in and out within 20 minutes! The staff was incredibly friendly, fast, and even recommended that if I had AAA I could head to the local store, take my smog certificate, get my registration done, and receive my tags that same day! This was a perk I had no idea about so I'm grateful the staff member gave me that hot tip. Now you know! Pro tip: make sure to check in and you'll get their discount for a smog check for only $50! This was my first time getting a smog check and I'm a teen girl who doesn't know a lot about cars so I didn't know what to expect but I had the best experience! It was $60 which didn't feel was too bad but the guy working was super nice and it only took 10 minutes!! He explained everything to me after the smog check and was very friendly. He also had a dog there which was cute and friendly and I'm a big animal person haha. Overall I'd give the experience a 9.5/10. Just make sure to call the oil change place next door as the phone number that is connected to here is not available and also to make sure he is there cause the times aren't super accurate. That's the only real complaint that I'd have but honestly not that big of a deal. Also there are no appointments so it's all walk in! Definitely will recommend to others and will come again. read more

I wanted to get a smog check First I waited for 10 min without anyone acknowledging me at the front Then they tell me to just wait near the smog check and they'll get me in After waiting , and driving up when my turn came , the guy who was "working by myself" , just began YELLING at me and said I should of "talked to me first " , as I was waiting in line when I was ONLY doing what I was told by the front desk He didn't let me explain what I was told , because he was too busy yelling at me ... Really degrading and abusive !! He didn't let me take my turn, even after I explained to him I was in line, like I was told He knew I was waiting and I was next and even Besides knowing that , He let another person go ahead of me , who had just gotten there , He felt dumb when the other person was nice , and said , "she was waiting , she's next " He was degrading , rude , minimizing , belittling and abusive !!! Called around and found this place was open until 3pm on a Saturday, a couple hours longer than the others I called in Ventura and Oxnard, while many in Camarillo were closed. The smog tech also had a coupon available online making it $40 total, and no hidden fees. I asked him twice to make sure I heard correct. I pulled up, no one in line, he had me in and out in no time! On top of the great deal, he also gave me a $10 coupon for an oil change at Xpress Lube, whom he shares a garage with. okay, so i'll start this off with a full explanation of what happened- followed by my review. I had pulled up to the smog check at 3:14pm, there was a Prius in the garage that i parked behind when i was ushered to get out of the car. i gave the dude my keys, then he had me write down my name & phone number on a piece of paper, and he told me it would be done in about 15 minutes. he also told me i could take a seat, and also motioned around and said i could just take a walk. since the waiting room looked a little small, and the only other option was a bench that was directly in the sunlight- i went on a walk to taco bell next door. after about 20 minutes, i walked back over and my car was still in the same spot- and it looked like the prius was still in the garage (i had no idea that was a shop car- or what i assume to be a shop car now since it never ended up moving. i'm not a car dude- i figured my car needed to be in the shop for the smog test- admittedly my bad) after another 15, i walked back and saw my car had been moved back & thought it was so there would be room to back the prius out so i could take my turn. went to walk around a little more. my assumption was i'd be called once it was finished if i wasn't in the small waiting room. then it hit 5, and since google said the shop closed at 6 i figured i should atleast ask the guy about it since he hadn't called me yet. i walk up to the shop at 5:10 & he's out front fiddling on another car infront of the prius (that's when i realized my fault with assuming the car needed to be in the shop) i asked him "hey man, so i just wanted to check on the status of my car- is it all good?" he responds with "It's been done for f*cking HOURS!! Why wouldn't you take a seat?!?!" then i explained the whole yanno, chair in the direct sunlight and how i went for a walk instead- and he said "I TOLD YOU 15 F*CKING MINUTES" (he had raised his voice quite a bit at this point and was basically yelling) i responded with some yelling back saying "you had my f*ckin phone number!! if it was that important i figured you'd call me and say it was finished if i wasn't in the waiting area!!!" Then the dude just points at the chair and says "go sit down, i'll deal with you in a minute." he finishes up work on the car that had pulled up- then shouts that he's ready for me in the shop. i walk up, we don't really address what happened- he tells me to sign something- i pay- take my keys & leave. as i'm leaving i see him close the garage door (closed up early and i guess i held him up an extra 3-4 minutes with my payment) (it's about 5:25 by this point) that was my experience. while i understand it was completely my bad for not understanding the car didn't need to be in the shop- what i don't understand is why i wouldn't be called & instead YELLED at for showing up an hour before close while he's very obviously still doing stuff- the difference of me paying earlier or at that point was about 3-4 minutes of extra "work" (him having me tap my card against a pay machine & him handing me two pieces of paper) has literally nobody ever gone on a walk instead of waiting in that room???? why would it be a problem if you are not only STILL OPEN, and my car is OUT OF THE WAY, and why resort to immediately raising your voice & being a toddler about the whole thing??? quite literally had the recourses to solve a problem (which, again, the problem was that he had to stay an extra 3-4 minutes, and still closed early) & instead waited for me to approach him to get all pissed off and yell at me about it. read more

I called and spoke to Eric who was so friendly and helpful. I took my car in Eric quickly did the smog check on my car and was very nice. Eric even gave me a printed copy of the certificate and suggested that I go over to AAA just down the road to get my tags immediately rather than waiting for the DMV to process which we all know takes forever, especially now that all government offices still seem to be working "from home" or remotely. I brought in a newly purchased used 22' RV to be smogged today. I was a little nervous as they have not been in business long. I was very pleasantly surprised! The technician was very knowledgeable. As we found out, is definitely a bigger deal to smog an RV than a car--more expensive and takes longer--but they handled our unit beautifully. I'm not sure they can smog larger units (over 14,000 GRWV) due to space constrictions, and it might be a difference process, so be sure to call ahead. I was so impressed, I decided to bring in my folks car that is up for renewal. In and out in 20 minutes, and less expensive than I have paid in several years.
