I was surprised to see that I needed my car smogged since it is relatively new but nonetheless it was required to get my new registration. I looked online in my neighborhood and found Auto Tech Smog Station. I was able to make a reservation which was great so I did. My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. Issac was great and has the smog business for all my cars from now on. Well done everyone! read more

Called specifically to get an appointment for the promoted "Etch and Catch" program to prevent catalytic converter thefts, and a smog same time. They made an appointment that worked for them so I could bring both cars in. I would have preferred Saturday, however took Tuesday 11am so it worked for their schedule to do both services. Our appointment did include paying for one of the vehicles to get smogged. Funny - they had time to take our money for a smog, but no time for the scheduled Etch and Catch service that I specifically wanted. I had called in June, and they just say "call back later". Essentially, they joined the program to get business, not actually help the community / prevent catalytic converter thefts. They had low stars already on yelp, so I was skeptical about using them. The only reason we drove all the way there is for the program. Next time, will just use the smog place a block from our house... read more

Took my car for a smog, got the print-out: passed the smog but did not get a certificate because suddenly I needed some work with my timing chain, and a vacuum hose which the tech pulled n cracked.
