Both meats were flavorful and just the right amount of seasoning. The baked beans are absolutely incredible. Everything was just right. Hot and delicious! When my wife and I found Smok-Haus on DoorDash, we were thrilled. The menu jad more than a few things we wanted to try. Honestly, it was a mixed experience. First of all, my wife ordered a side cornbread, and that never arrived. Her chicken philly's roll just wasn't great, although the fillings got a thumbs up. I tried the triple play thinking it was a great way to try a few things. The pulled pork was delicious, and the KC red sauce added even more to the meat. The bratwurst was disappointing. I think Johnsonville has way more flavor and a better texture. Speaking of texture.... the chopped brisket was tougher than beef jerky. Both sides were good, if small. This place is SO good! They recently opened a location in Hicksville in an otherwise quiet strip mall. They're very hard to spot as it's a small location surrounded by other small stores. Once inside you will see the space goes all the way back but it's just a few tablets and one employee as a cashier. The menu is brightly-lit on large TV screens. We ordered online and arrived to pickup at the time the email specified. We still ended up waiting about 10 minutes but it was fine. The staff is friendly and the owner hand-delivered our food order! I tried the pulled pork with a few sides. It was DELICIOUS and the Carolina Gold sauce is the best. The sides are also tasty and for $15 you get a ton of food. They also have a lot of sides ranging from fries to wings. I'll probably try the fries next time around. Great spot. read more

If you want to dine in, you would need to go to their Garden City location. There is a large menu on display upon entering with 3 kiosks to place orders. If you don't want to use the kiosk, you can place the order at the cashier. Large variety of menu options. We ordered individual meals of pulled pork and brisket with sides and they were very good. This place was very good!! I got the Brisket Sandwich, Cheese Fries and Mac And Cheese. All were very good and enjoyable. Really liked the Cheese Sauce. I didnt take a pic bc I was in a rush but my friend and I stopped in from NJ. Theres no indoor seating but ordering was easy with their modern touch screens. The front desk girl was nice. The food is always consistently top shelf and IMO the best on Strong Island. I wanted to spotlight the packaging when you order catering from their Hicksville location. I felt as though the packaging was so quality it made me feel like I was unwrapping a new iPhone when I got home. Everything is perfectly labeled and strong sturdy packaging. As far as the food, never disappoints. I can't get enough of the brisket and pulled pork, oh mama! I just wish they had a location closer to the Melville/Huntington area! We went and ordered 2 sandwiches to go, Sunday, July 5. Sad that there was no sit down, only takeout. We took our order and went home. OH, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Mustard and sauerkraut on the sandwich?? Bread was not really fresh. Pastrami was burnt in spots, cut too thick, and dried out. Made note to not return here. Now, a time honored tradition with me is when I'm about to leave New York, I eat out. It has to be new and it has to be good. I guess Yelp helped with that. Let me start by saying, since going to Texas and trying bbq, no New York spot has come close, that is until "Smōk-Haůs" came to town. My brother and I came here fairly early. There's plenty of parking in the lot, so it works out great. Before we could get into the place, two people ran in ahead. From the outside, the place looks small. Going inside it was an accurate assessment. There are no seats and the restaurant is narrow. It has real wood panel walls and kiosks to order. They also have a digital screen that displays all the items and all the pricing well. They also have a small counter where we met Jeffery. Jeffery was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I asked and he told us, they have been open for two and a half months. After, he helped us make selection and even recommended some items. When it was time to pay, I asked if they take Apple Pay and he said yes. Then told us it would be a couple of minutes. I thought, bbq in minutes, how? Jeffery must have noticed and asked if we would like to see the back area. I definitely took the opportunity to do so. Behind the scenes, the place is large and they have a huge staff. They had state of the art smokers and the work area was immaculate. I couldn't focus however, the incredible smell of the food, flooded my nose. After Jeffery handed me the food and we left. Once we got to my brothers it was time to eat, and eat we did. Let me start by stating the obvious, it smelled great, but how would it hold up with taste? Well let me say this. If you go back in the history of my reviews, I you will see clearly that I don't do beans. I always ask for my tacos no beans and this has never changed. But, if the beans they make were the beans I ate, I would put beans on everything! They were smoking, sweet and flavorful. I couldn't believe what I was eating! Next the cornbread and fries were excellent! Now onto the big three. The Mac and cheese being in of them. It was gooey, hot, and had a great blend of cheese. You can tell, they added a generous amount of cheese and in case you didn't know, I love cheese! Next we tried the pork ribs. Another solid choice. They feel right off the bone and were covered in a bbq sauce that added to the meat. I was speechless. Now last was the brisket. I love brisket in general. The best I've ever had was in Texas. I say this with complete confidence, this brisket might have been better. It was smoky and moist. It had perfect texture and it was delicious! My only complaint was that they didn't give us more; also, for not opening sooner. This place is legit. If you're in the mood for bbq and need a spot, this might be the best bbq in Long Island. Got spare ribs on bone taste good in red mild sauce but. I was in the mood for their spare rib tips. So, next time, no substitutes.
