It's rare that I find a taco to really blow me away. This was one of those rare times. Food Nation Generation's (FNG) crispy chorizo and potato taco was just that taco! Perhaps the best taco I've ever had. The truffle fries with it were terrific too. And at $13 for three (with regular fries), they're very reasonably priced. I also had the shrimp tacos that were excellent as well. Maybe could have used a third shrimp so there wasn't such a gap of just cheese, but the cheese they use is awesome so it really wasn't such a horrible problem (hope you can hear my chuckles from there). This is a great food truck to know about for a quick but awesome lunch. Thanks FNG!

2nd visit for me. The first time I came here I had the pork tacos which were delicious, great flavor. Today I saw on IG they had a surf and turf burger special so I had to get that for lunch! Came with a beef patty, grilled shrimp, lettuce, tomato and lemon aioli. The shrimp were huge! Burger was cooked perfectly medium rare. The lemon aioli tied everything together. I also had the warm churros with chocolate sauce. Little bites of heaven. I can't say enough about this food truck and the chef/owner Graham for putting out some really great food. I highly suggest to follow them on Instagram because they post their daily specials there.

AH- MAZE- ZING! I found this gem on Yelp while looking for lunch near my job! Foodnation Generation came up as a top choice on my feed causing my coworker and I to give them a try. I'm sure glad we followed the advice of other Yelpers. We ordered pork tacos, shrimp tacos and a side of fries. Everything was fresh, colorful and delicious. The food was so appealing to the eyes and even more so to the palate. Phenomenal concept and perfect execution. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

What a great experience at Food Nation Generation! Now, let me preface by saying that our typical meal is not fried or covered in rich delicious sauces. So this was a real treat meal for us! My hubby parked and ordered over text. He's very picky and got all the sauces on the side. When the food was ready, it was brought out to his car, so easy!! What a great meal though. We tried 3 different dishes-- Korean Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich, Shrimp Tacos and Crispy Cheesy Chicken Tacos. Each dish was really well put together with plenty of food--tortillas perfectly grilled, shrimp plump and delicious, fresh cut crispy fries. Even the fried chicken sandwich was more meat than breading! It was spicy, sticky with sweetness and really amazing! The Korean fries that came with the chicken sandwich were so tasty with fresh radish, cilantro, spicy sauce and sesame seeds. I really enjoyed the green sauce that came with the shrimp tacos. It was just so flavorful and made the dish even better. I will definitely be trying some other dishes in the future!

FNG Burger, chorizo taco (sorry- took a bite, was too good to not)

This place was ridiculous. I don't write a lot of these, but when my daughter says, "that was the best food I've ever had!!" - you just have to. Burger was amazing. Been dying for one of those unique burgers you see on Food Network and this didn't let down. Had cheddar, bacon/onion jam, candied type bacon with a little zip to it and a fresh bun, not sure what kind of bun, but it wasn't some regular plain old bun. The whole thing worked. Tried the Korean fries. I was hesitant- personally not a big cilantro or radish fan, but I asked Chef Graham and he said, "it all works together". He wasn't lying. They were fantastic. My daughter had some too and was all smiles. I say 'Chef Graham' because this isn't like random, throw it together, god truck stuff. This is restaurant quality food made by an actual chef. Prices were really good for high quality food. Only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't order more to eat now. My daughter went to some other food trucks, but in her words this was her first 'fancy' one. Best truck I've been to. Definitely heading back.

Korean Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with Korean French Fries

I heard great things about Food Nation Generation but I have to say they exceeded all of my already high expectations. The shrimp tacos paired with truffle fries were nothing short of amazing. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Additionally, the Korean fried chicken did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Pair this dish with Korean fries and you will not regret it. The ease of ordering through text message and curbside pickup was convenient and smooth. Well done Food Nation Generation! We'll definitely be back.

Other than having one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, they make these amazing Korean fries that are just LOADED with flavor. They're topped with gochujang aioli, cilantro, radish and sesame seeds, and I couldn't get enough. Keep in mind that it's a food truck that's open seasonally, so that means that you need to get in while it's there. The line was building up just a little around lunchtimeby the time, but it wasn't a long wait. Don't forget to grab a cookie to wrap up your meal, because they're perfectly warm and buttery.

This is not like any food truck that I have ever been to. This is a gourmet restaurant on wheels. They take simple, comfort food concepts, and elevate them to such a degree that my meal rocked me to my core. My fusion cuisine experience was very filling, extremely delicious, and super affordable. The food was served quickly and loaded with fresh and high quality ingredients. It was all so good that I was too busy savoring each and every bite to even take a picture, but I did get a pic of the menu (see attached). The crispy, buttermilk fried, dark meat chicken, smothered in the sweet, Gochujang, honey glaze of the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich paired incredibly well with the freshness of the spicy Korean slaw on top. The Korean fries, covered in a delectable Gochujang aioli, have possibly ruined normal fries for me forever. And the churros, even now, my mouth waters at just the thought of those cinnamon sugar sticks of heaven. The food served here is nothing less than some of the finest food on Long Island, and I will be returning to Food Nation Generation soon, hungry for more.

By far one of the best pork tacos I have had, I would recommend to anyone. The jalepenos gives it just the right spice and the Asian sauce a nice sweet but not to overwhelming taste.

We started with frozen margaritas which were cold, refreshing, and a solid way to kick things off. The ground beef nachos came loaded with queso and guac, and the extra chips on the side made it easy to share. The birria tacos with the dipping sauce were one of the highlights, juicy and full of flavor. The smash burger taco was a fun twist and worked surprisingly well. We also tried a few different tacos including a shrimp steak taco with crispy onions and chimichurri crema, and a blackened shrimp taco with mango pico which added a nice contrast. The taco of the month, a blackened sirloin steak taco with horseradish crema and corn pico de gallo, brought something a little different to the table. We finished with a churro funnel cake topped with cinnamon sauce which was warm and a great dessert to share. Overall, a solid spot for tacos with a lot of variety and creative options. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

This place is a small deli that has a few tables inside where you can sit down and eat if you want. I've been here twice and took my order to go both times. The menu has a couple of different types of tacos, including lengua, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, chicken. They also have tortas, burritos, and breakfast platters. All tacos were listed for $2.75 except for lengua, which was $3. I think this place is cash only. I've tried the lengua, carne asada, al pastor, and chorizo tacos. The tacos are beautifully simple and really solid for the most part. They all came out hot, with double tortillas, onion, cilantro. They give you a generous bag of radishes, lime, and hot sauce, which is great. The only one I wasn't a huge fan of was the chorizo, as the meat was cut up while still being in the casing, instead of being taken out of the casing, which I much prefer. The meats were also fairly dry, so this probably isn't the place for you if you want something ultra juicy. However, the lengua was an exception as it was very tender and moist. With this said, I still very much enjoyed all of the tacos I had. The best thing about this place is that they're charging very reasonable prices at present. There are a lot of taco places which charge $6 or more per taco, which is absurd in my opinion. So I'm glad this place exists and will happily continue to patronize this place as long as prices remain reasonable. Cheers.

On this recent outing I had a carne asada burrito with everything including: pico de gallo, avocado salsa, cheese, black beans, rice and lettuce. All in all, a good burrito with obviously fresh ingredients. However, I found the rice to be pretty plain jane as well as the carne asada. I never salt my food, but I needed to hit this thing with some. I just wish that both the rice and steak were better seasoned so it wouldn't come to this. Their table sauces were great though, my favorite of the 3 had to be the habanero hot sauce, it is sufficiently spicy. As for the quesadilla with al pastor, it was delicious. The sweet and salty pineapple pork went perfectly with the melted cheese and crema, the lettuce helped lessen the weight of it too. Good mexican eats at friendly prices. Our waitress was visibly annoyed when I asked questions regarding the menu. It took 20 minutes to have my drink come out when the rest of the table had theirs. That being said, the drink was disgusting. I ordered a guava margarita which the waitress said was their seasonal flavor. It tasted like sweet juice and no alcohol. Since the waitress was nowhere to be found after she quickly brought anything to the table and ran away, I got up to Go to the bartender to ask for a regular margarita with no flavor. Not only did the bartender EMBARRASS me in front of the bar customers, she was completely rude and dismissive. She said there was no way my margarita was too sweet because everything was measured. I said OK but I don't like it, can I have one with no flavor? And she proceeded to ask me "what's too sweet about it? Why is it too sweet?" Literally putting me on the spot in front of other customers. I was appalled. I said I don't like the juice can I just have another one with no flavor then? She walked away and I didn't see the margarita for another 15 minutes until our food was out. We had kids with us and 2 kids meals came out and my daughters didn't come out for another 15 minutes after the other children. She was complaining how hungry she was and as usual, our waitress was nowhere to be seen. This is not the way to run an establishment. Especially after spending close to $300 for 3 adults and 3 children. The gratuity was even added in because their staff is so terrible they have to guarantee their tip it seems. I wish there was a manager on site so I could've complained or at least had the gratuity taken off, but they were nowhere to be seen. There was no hostess on site, and completely understaffed. It was such a let down experience especially since the food is great.

Yeah, you read that correctly... not a typo. We were visiting my daughter and her family while on Long Island, but we had to fend for ourselves one evening while they had other plans. We were in the mood for Mexican food, so Yelp to the rescue... and this place popped up. Well, it lived up to all the hype, I'm happy to say. The restaurant is really small... the only negative... and it can get kind of loud, so okay, two negatives, but the food more than made up for it. We had a really good waiter, who was very helpful in helping us place our order. We ordered guacamole, and they made it to our specifications, minus the hot peppers and cilantro. It was FABULOUS and just like I like it.... as good as Besito, by the way !!! I love that place, too. However, what really won me over was this salmon dish in red mole sauce, which I had never had before. It was AMAAAAAAZING. My husband and I SPLIT an order of their Salmon Con Tropical Mole, which was pan-roasted filet of salmon, mole manchamanteles, sweet plantains, papaya pico de gallo. We got some extra plantains and some street corn, and with the gargantuan size of salmon, it was more than enough for the both of us... plus we definitely filled up on chips and salsa (and guac for me). Everything was superb, and I want to say that the salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was flaky, flavorful and succulent with a very light but appreciated outer crunch. It was soooooooooooo good. So we came away from this place, raving to everyone and anyone who would listen. We talked my daughter and son-in-law into ordering takeout from here as they were worried it was just too small to deal with a bunch of us going, esp. with their young children. Anyway, I'm disappointed to say that their takeout was an entirely different situation. We ordered the "same" salmon dish, and it was like HALF the size. It was the size for one... not that two could split. (If you look at my photo of it, you'll see how large it was... now cut it in half... that's what we got on takeout.) I let my husband have it cuz I was too angry. It had the mole sauce, but I didn't care once I saw it.... plus the salmon itself looked different... it didn't have that nice crunchy shell from pan roasting it. Just so disappointing. The guacamole was still as good as I remember, as was their salsa... but the portion size and quality of preparation... at least with the salmon... was an abomination. I can't speak to what my daughter and son-in-law ordered for entrees because we didn't try it in the restaurant, so we have no point of reference. I feel bad because I raved and raved about their food, and this takeout experience sucked. There should be NO difference. I guess my takeaway would be to recommend that you dine-in there. I'm awarding all FIVE stars for DINE-IN ONLY... and nothing to do with their takeout process. Brave the crowds because they will be there, make a reservation which will help, and eat THERE. I just don't trust the takeout experience with them.
