I have my own humidor at home so don't need to come here as often as I should. But this is a great I mean great cigar shop. All cigars in their humidor are mature and ready to smoke. I'm enjoying a Partaga right now. And the guys in this shop are really nice helpful good people. read more

Avoid this place!!!!! Dry cigars bad customer service I waked in to buy some cigars to have a good time with my buddies and they were dry!!!! They were not good at all and the owner was on his phone as I was buying the cigars he didn't even give me a legit bag for cigars he gave me a zip log bag!!!!! Bad customer service will never go back and will not recommend place for any friends or family members.i hope that this place can be a better example for cigar shops. Have seen this smoke shop several times over the years. As I picked up some groceries at the nearby Vons I decided to stop by and buy a cigar for a friend. When I decided on what cigar I go to the cashier. After a standing their for over a minute the cashier finally acknowledged me. He then tells me he's too busy right now and that I would have to wait five minutes! I left the merchandise on the counter and walked out shaking my head. Unbelievable! read more

Since I live about 314 miles away from my favorite cigar lounge (Los Gatos Cigar Club), I would say that this place is as good as it gets in Santa Clarita for me!!!! Love the fact that the owners are great, the humidor has a great selection and if you want to smoke at the shop, there's plenty of room and nice folks pass the time with. Chilled with my friend and watched Pacers get their asses handed to him by the Heat. A nice Hoyo De Monterrey and cracking wise=my idea of a 'lax evening. I really like this area in general. You got kids outside chasing ducks. Very friendly restaurants around (went into Chili's alone, put my name on the list, realized Chili's was meant for families celebrating stuff, felt like a loser, took name off list, Chili's hostess was uber-pleasant, beelined to Pick Up Stix). Having recently acquired a great little freehand pipe, I was wondering where I was going to find tobacco beyond the standard cavendish blends you can get at CVS... a friend of mine (Cigar Dave) recommended this shop and he was exactly right to do so. They have a wide variety of pipe tobaccos (not expected for what appears to be a cigar-only oriented store) -- I think they may actually carry the full line of Dunhill pipe tobaccos. They helped me choose one; on a later trip, they helped me choose some pipe accessories that were also needed. Only 4 stars because I've only been there twice. But I suspect it's actually a 5-star joint. Conveniently located just off the 5 at McBean and the Old Road. read more

After patronizing their sister store, Old Oaks Cigar, in Thousand Oaks, I discovered this store in my back yard! Same hand rolled sticks, accessories, great selection of 'gars! I brought my pal and neighbor over last night, and he was similarly impressed. Although I buy cigars in bulk on line, I still have a need for a local brick and mortar store, and this one fills the bill nicely! I have another well stocked store much closer to me, and their humidor is much easier to navigate, but they don't have the hand rolled like the Smoke Zone has! So Zack and Leon can expect to see me here fairly often! Zack has been very helpful and friendly, and I very much appreciate his extra efforts. Zack made certain I met Leon when I went in the first time, so I'm sure I'll be chattin' it up with him, too! In any case, so far, I can safely recommend this place very highly! I came here to buy some lotto tickets for a friends birthday and I decided that I will never come back again! I can forget the smell, forget the creepy men smoking their cigars sitting outside the store (FYI you do NOT look cool!), but I won't forget the rude, rude, snotty cashier/salesperson! It's like an inconvenience for him to help customers. He almost reminded me of the "soup nazi" guy's attitude. But listen Mr. Rudeness, you don't have yummy soup or anything in your store worth putting up with that rude, disrespectful attitude. I have been to many cigar shops all over california but the smoke zone is the best. They treat you like family. They have one of the best stocked humidors around. The smoke zone has so many regular customers including Fire and Police. I love to stop in and just sit with the fellas and have a smoke. The only draw back is the drive from Tehachapi. read more

These run at $4.99 to $6.99 in any other B&M. Sticks were not marked with prices. Why did I get charged almost $10 per stick? Buyer beware, or know your prices up front. If I could give 0 stars I would... I agree with other post that these guys don't care about customers, all they do is sit towards the back and smoke cigars. This place is ass. Prices are high. Customer service is terrible and extremely rude. I had to wait on a young girl in front of me getting creepily hit on/interrogated by the old guy behind the counter for like 5 mins before i could ask for prices. The price he gave me for a pipe was extremely high so i asked if he could go lower and he just slammed the case in my face and walked away not saying a word. Seems like you have to be an attractive young girl or an older person to either enjoy this place or get treated decently, me being 21 and male didn't work well.
