In my 45 years of smoking weed I've never been sold a leaky bong. Don't buy the small $19.99 bongs with the skull designs melted in, that's the one I bought, which was leaking from the design. I brought it back about 45 minutes after I bought it, same dude who sold it to me said "I can't do anything about this, I don't know what you did to it since you bought it." He was going to sell me another $19.99 bong for an additional $10, instead of exchanging the leaky defective one. This ended up being a good experience though. he grabbed a bottle of water and poured some into another $19.99 skull bong to make sure it wasn't leaking, and did the right thing by exchanging the leaky bong for a properly working one. I've been buying bongs here since they first opened in 2015. I used to get medium sized (about a foot high) single bubbles, nothing fancy, for around $20. Then they quit selling those and I bought a super small about 7" high single bubble which was $19.99. I didn't think I'd like it but I got used to it and have gone through 2 of those. Now the same single bubble super small bongs have a skull design melted into the bubble, which I think just looks dumb and it also weakens the integrity of the water pipe. But that's what I have now. Ridiculously overpriced, regardless of what you're buying, expect to pay at least twice as much here than at mellow mood, which is only about 15 blocks northwest and southeast of here. I don't understand how these places get away with it, other than perhaps people want to support stand alone businesses-'I don't know if Mellow Mood is actually a chain, but still it's too expensive out here to be catering to inflation like that. Guy that works there with the dreads is hella cool though, no Portland pretentiousness, pretty knowledgeable and super chill. read more

Sold me a flum for $35 when they are $28 at nearby stores. Tried in store and it already tasted like it was burnt/running out. Cashier was unwilling to swap it out despite dissatisfaction with the overpriced product that i purchased. I wouldn't ask to swap it out if it was working properly. Every other store allows you to swap it out because there are problems when they sit in the box for an extended period of time. This is an interesting little shop. It has an extensive selection and seems like a great place to go. I've been here several times and have made several purchases with them... The nice things I have to say stop there though. When I go in and have a fairly good idea of what I want, then it's great, but anytime I've ever needed help or advice, I've been sorely disappointed and left empty handed. Like seriously, I've never seen people so disinterested in selling you on their wares. It's frustrating, it's really frustrating. You know, because of their selection this is often the first shop I think of, but because of my experience of dealing with their employees, I often times quickly shove that thought out of my head. I've gone in there several times where I needed help making a selection, or asked for additional information on a product I was interested in, and damn. You know, it's like talking to that hawt girl at the party that has absolutely no interest in you. It's like well okay you know, I guess I'll take my money elsewhere, because you can't even be bothered to pretend to care about my business long enough to make the sale. First store I have ever been kicked out of for wanting to be helped! We made a decision based upon prior experiences over time around the city to return to this store. Myself and one other entered the store at approximately 12:30 PM for a birthday present. A male person was standing behind the cash register on the left hand side of the store. As we entered we were greeted with "hey" and we responded with "hello." We walked to the right side where the glass was displayed that we intended to purchase. After a short time we had our sights set on a couple items. I turned around to the person still standing behind the cash register staring at us and I asked "is there a sales person working this area?" He slowly walked around the counter and stated "that's me." I said in a regular tone of voice "as a sales guy you don't seem like you want to make a sale" to which he replied "look, do you want to buy anything?" Shocked at how rudely and quickly he responded with such a snide remark I asked if a manager was available and he replied "the only one above me is the owner and you can wait around and he might show up sometime." I asked his name and he said it was "Ian" and he continued on to say "you need to leave the store because you are not going to get any F*cking service here." Really!? Did he need to resort to vulgar language?! The funny part is we never received service to begin with. We gladly left. We drove no more than 5 minutes down NW 23rd and purchased $371.49 worth of items. On top of that we received a birthday and military discount. Things have changed at this store considering we have receipts for prior visits over a short timer period totaling roughly $2k. If the owner reads this, by all means feel free to justify the rude, unprofessional, and unwelcome behavior by your staff. Will we ever spend a penny here again? Never! Will we openly and gladly express our dis-satisfaction and steer the community away from this store? Absolutely, without a doubt! There are plenty of shops to choose from in the Portland / Vancouver area that deserve our hard earned money. read more

This is a great place if you can catch them when they are open. Today was the second time this week where I arrived during normal business hours to a "Be Back In a few minutes " sign. Wrong vape juice for our mods (too thick) and crappy wicks that came in a plastic bag instead of original package and also were not strong enough for our wattage (burned out super quick). It's really hard to make a decision on a new vape juice when we can no longer smell or try the product. I know it's not their fault, but when you spend $20 on a juice that came "super highly recommended" only to have the flavor not even close to what is says it is as well as taste like cheap cologne, it definitely leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. Also got the run around about how we would have to wait until the owner decided to show up for any kind of resolution. Will not go back, even for emergency supplies.
