Highly recommend the chicken and side of beans. Service / Ambiance 5/5 - This place is an order at the counter, sit and wait for your food type of place. They had live music outside when we got our food. Really great place we will be stopping again.

Sooo good - 5 stars!…read more I've wanted to check this place out for a few years. But unfortunately, I don't live close-by and the hours & days of operation are limited. But I finally made it. Three of us checked them out for a Friday lunch. It was definitely worth the trip to meet my Wisconsin buddies for some rockin' Q. This is a casual, order-up-front kind of place. Grab your beverage, pick your own spot, and they bring the food to your table. The meats are excellent. I grabbed a half pound of smoked sausage, a half pound of pastrami, and a half pound of beef brisket. My friends both ordered pork ribs. Everything was wonderful! Being a zero carb dude, I really appreciate that you can order meat by the pound (and the half pound). Thankfully, they don't force you to order plant based items. As zero carbohydrate carnivore eater, I didn't order any plant based sides whatsoever. But my friends got broccoli slaw and waffle corn bread (very clever) as sides. They loved their sides. Both of them topped things off with big Texas Brownies and a la mode French Vanilla Ice Cream. The brownies were giant and flavorful. They actually made the whole back dining area smell like chocolate. Finally, the service was excellent. The food came out fast & hot. And the owner popped out of the kitchen a few times to check on us and to chat. Nice guy. They have live music. But we came early and missed all of that...so I can't comment on the music scene. All-in-all, a great place, especially if you're a carnivore. Thumbs up! -Maxx

Now wouldn't it be cool if you could eat great food and do all your mail business in one place?…read moreWell you will get the post office vibe, original wood floors, a beautiful tin ceiling, and great food, but as far as I could see, no place to buy stamps. I chose the grilled shrimp for my entree. The shrimp were not shrimps, they were huge. I chose garlic mashed potatoes for my side (there were many options) and it came with asparagus as the veggie. It was delicious. Service was excellent. Street parking was easy. We parked directly in front of the entry. Cool spot. Love to see old buildings get repurposed.

I'll start with the positives - the ambiance is excellent and they have a great patio. Our server Simone was friendly and witty and really made our table feel welcomed. What could be better was the quality of some of the food in addition to the amount of time we waited for our food to arrive. After our orders were placed, it took about an hour to receive our food, and the table definitely didn't eat together. Even the appetizers took about 40 minutes to arrive at the table. I thought for what you get, it was insanely pricey. I have never paid close to $20 for a wing appetizer to get an odd number of 5 wings. That's insane. My friend and I planned on splitting that and the patty melt. We are huge patty melt lovers, but this one was bland and nothing good to report. The table did enjoy the shrimp dish. I will admit the bruschetta was darn good, but I wish there was more positives to report with the food. We all stated that we wouldn't pick this place again, but if someone wanted to eat here and suggested it, we would come back, but we would all want to try different things (minus the bruschetta and shrimp dish).

Hello my Yelp friends. First we went here today as a party of four. The waitress was pretty good,…read morefriendly and very prompt. Drinks came out fast. Cheese curds were really good and prompt. We proceeded to order our food and that's where the trouble began. We ordered two pepper jack bacon turkey sandwiches, a chicken sandwich and a burger. After a while the waitress came out and told us that the chicken sandwich and burger were ready but the kitchen just told her no turkey. Okay fine we ordered two other things and she brought out fries while we wait. The remaining food came out eventually. Food was good not great. Time for the bill. I ordered a 22oz Round Man American Lager. Listed on the menu and the website as $9.00. The bill came and they charge me for a 12 oz plus two size upgrades. The total cost? $13 dollars. I asked her about it and she said that because I got two upgrades. Consulted the menu again and saw that the cost for 22 oz was $9.00 to which she said the menu was wrong. Consulted the website since as we all know sometimes the printed menu can be wrong. Guess what it also states that a 22 oz cost $9.00. So after a bit of back and forth she finally agreed that the beer should be $9.00. The bill was corrected. 22Jun update: the manager Pete reached out and assured me that the menu has been updated to reflect the correct pricing. I was able to verify this on the online version. While my initial experience was not the best, him reaching out and fixing my primary concern was ethical and respectable. I encourage everyone regards of where you go to check your bill before paying.
