This is the place to be on a Friday night in downtown Stillwater. Definitely where the locals hang out. This place has a homey and chill feel but the drinks are elevated and gorgeous. I ordered a simple margarita but it was nothing but delish and the decor on top (chefs kiss). We sat at the bar on the upper level in comfy and fancy leather chairs. Lots of TVs around to entertain. Stopped in here for a Happy Hour drink. We met a very awesome waitress named Cedes. I was going to order a long island tea and she said "Are you sure you don't want a martini" They were also on the happy hour menu and she said they are known for their martinis. So glad I did I have not had many martinis but omg! BEST ever! She was not kidding. Wish I was back there having another one right now. And she was so helpful recommending places to eat. Came in Friday after having a lobster roll from DJ Clam Shack next door. Was very pleasantly surprised to see there is Linemann's on tap! Bartender was attentive and friendly. This is a must-stop every time we take on a Stillwater adventure!! The space itself is kinda divey, really just consisting of a long bar and a few tables. The bartenders are never really in a "good" mood, but they aren't disrespectful or negative in any way. The real winner here is the loaded Bloody Mary. I'll stand by my review. Mostly I felt duped by what I feel was at least disingenuous advertising of the cheapest drinks in town. I believed because they were directing you off the strip where there's not as much foot traffic it seemed logical to be less expensive. The signs didn't say or set an expectation of top shelf and fresh squeezed. My wife's drink looked nice it had a flower and a little hat but it was in a small glass filled with ice and there couldn't have been more than 6oz of liquid in it. I paid $15 with tip, normally I would have moved on and not even written a review on this experience if it wasn't for the misleading signs. read more

No-Neck Tonys is a good time! It seems like your typical local bar on the outside, but offers a little more glam than expected on the inside. They slang some great drink specials, like $2.75 rails/drafts and $5 select martinis all day every day. The martini deal was what got me through the door, but the ones available were all too sweet. $2.75 rails still did the trick, though! And their pours weren't as cheap as the price! My friends got some "fancier" cocktails, like the "Oscars" concoction that comes with an abundance of champagne. You can also get some novelty drinks... even some Tito's on tap in a golden disco ball. Yes that's a thing! Disco balls, pull tabs, and some bar food are at NNT too. Overall, this is a great place to go even during COVID because there's only one table inside and no seats at the bar. You basically just go in to order and drink outside. LAKE ELMO LOCATION- stopped in for drinks and a few snacks and both were solid. I honestly really loved their unique tap selection which included a raspberry lambic I've never seen on tap before, but be prepared to noticeably pay more than area average for tap beer (some other bevs seemed like a good deal). We enjoyed the wings and burrata, but would have appreciated more than four pieces of crostini with the large ball of burrata. We'll be back, but there's a few kinks I hope they work out. read more

I only moved to town a six months ago but this place is already my favorite in town. Ever since the first time I went I've always had top notch service and there are a lot of friendly locals and I've always had great conversations with people from out of town as well. I've never not had a good time. They have some really great specialty drinks if that's your thing. I like the Murphy's. They also have great drink specials all week so you can get an affordable PBR if you are so inclined. They have Heggies pizza which is outstanding and some other small appetizers on the menu. The thing I like the most about NNT's is the staff. They are the best. They treat you great. They know how to mix a drink. They're attentive. Most of all they're sincere and sociable. When you come here you get treated like a friend by the staff as well as the customers. If you can't get along with people here, you're probably the issue. Best bar ever! read more

Awesome little bar where every hour is happy hour. Tuesday to Thursday they have $2.75 wells and select beer. The price goes up to $3.50 Friday to Sunday but seriously that's still great. They also have $5 martinis all day every day. I forgot exactly what the martini was called but I got an apple flavored one. Tasted just like a jolly rancher with one in the bottom.
