Now I know I have this thing for Fascinations but this is one of the best stores I have been into. HUGE selection of porn. An incredibly large selection of dongs, toys, bathing suits, panties, night club wear, hosiery, lotions, oils, shoes, magazines, bondage, latex, whips, chains, and did I mention they are also a smoke shop? They have plus sizes and their shoe selection goes up to a size 14 for you beautiful men and women out there. I give this 3 stars because its broad selection of toys, movies l, and lingerie. What I do not like is the set up because it reminded me of a dusty attic. You can tell the staff doesn't dust very often. Speaking of staff that was the worst part. Both times I've gone in there there has been different staff. The normal/boxed lingerie was mediocre. Not really a variety in sizes or options. Average pricing for the basic lingerie. You'd have better luck going to fascinations if you were looking for something more girly and colorful. On the other hand, the leather pieces for women were sexy! They had a variety of those! Wife and I went there last week for the very first time. Clean and well lit. Very good selection of movies and toys. Wish they had more clothing, but the selection met my wife's needs nicely. They dont have a dressing room, which could pose a problem for some. My wife isn't shy, and made herself at home trying on clothes right on the floor. No one complained, and we didnt get kicked out because of it. We dropped a good deal of money on clothes and toys, so being able to try things on was the difference between just looking and actually buying. I wont specify the items that I go there for. but they always have them. OK, I will say, check out the leather section if thats your flavour. Whatever flavour else you may like, its there too. It is pricey, but its better to go somewhere that has what you need tha'ts going to fit right and and refrain from loosing a fastener, strap, snap, ring or whatever well beyond the point where you can no longer return it. As a new resident to Arizona, I've been frequenting the adult shops in the Tempe/Phx Metro area looking for the shops that seem to provide the most satisfaction for me. My criteria is based on the selection of videos, the wide variety of kinky/fetish supplies and abundance of toys available. I am also interested in lingerie, especially if it is reasonably priced (and it is so often over priced), but that is the last of my adult shop needs. Smokin' Lingerie is the perfect middle ground to find pretty much everything you need. Although it has been argued to me that it is a bit over priced as far as toys go; it is not a big enough difference for me to care too much. I was extremely pleased with the selection of fetish gear. Genuine leather goods, restraints, latex - it's all there. If you're seriously into that sort of thing, the price shouldn't bother. There is an abundance of toys as well. Some in the more "extreme" realm of the sex world too. The organization of the toys is not too clear, but that was ok with me because I had to look at everything to make sure I saw what the store had to offer. For those interested in lingerie, the store would probably satisfy lingerie needs. There was a lot of different types of lingerie/"clubwear" available and the price was the same as any other place, or maybe better. It varied from the more vanilla, stripper-wear to the leather hardness and fishnet body suits. I was quickly reminded by the stores wide selection and organization that I was not in the grimiest of adult boutiques, but I wasn't in some corporate, vanilla store where every employee is wearing a uniform. Bottom line: if you're used to frequenting the corporate adult boutiques, this place may seem kind of intimidating at first (either by its selection or organization technique or lack thereof), but do not be fooled - my guess is that you'll want to leave with at least one thing by the time you're done browsing. read more

I lived across the street from this place several years ago and just now had a reason to check them out. I had a really pleasant shopping experience here. While I wasn't in the market for the majority of their awesome goodies, I was able to walk out with some items that suited my needs. Eric and Michelle were amazing with helping me choose the right items. They were knowledgeable and certainly didn't sugar coat anything. I appreciated their honesty and how relaxed they were. I have shopped at Smokin' Lingerie since 2003. They used to be an awesome place with alot of unique clothing for ladies. The last 3 or 4 times I have been in there, it seems like it is going out if business. The lights are low and the half the merchandise floor is empty. Anyway, I recently purchased 4 items: an over the door swing (which was never used), two suction cups for the shower which were never used and a pair of panties that were never used. They have a 5 day return policy and I went in on the 5th day and they said they wouldn't take anything back. Unbelievable. Then the store clerk called me a bitch and told me to get the f*** out of the store and insulted my hair. read more

Staff is not helpful. Told me I could return items if they didn't fit. When I came in to do so 2 days later, they pretty much told me I was a liar because "none of them would have said that" when indeed, I did exactly what the counter lady suggested. "Buy them to try them on, if they don't work return them" now I'm stuck with 70$ worth of shit that I can't use. And have to wait for the manager to be there to come speak to him. Hopefully they will resolve this miscommunication amongst his employees. Because I go here quite alot. I work at the club's on that road, I would hate to turn a lot of their costumers away by telling them about this.
