Wow! Wow! Wow! So much praise for this place! We were passing through on our way to Vermont and it was right on our route at the perfect time. We had to wait a little while for a table if we didn't want to sit at the bar. We waited patiently and we're all glad we did (me, my mom and my husband). My husband and I split the Brisket Burger and it was so good I had to go to the window and tell the cooks! My mom got tired of my comments, which were constantly coming out of my mouth- "Oh my gosh, this is so good!" "This is the best burger I've ever had!!"etc, etc. It seemed impossible to be able to eat it with all that was stacked on it but once I cut it in half it became do-able! My mom ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was huge too. She said she loved it. Our server, Chantel, was stretched thin but super nice and efficient in spite of the work load. We gave her a good tip!! We highly recommend this place! If we're ever passing this way again (we live in Tennessee) this will be one of our stops!

Great BBQ! I tried the Sampler Platter with chicken, ribs, brisket and pulled pork...it was awesome. Couldn't finish, so much food. The Brisket was my favorite. My wife had the steak tips, ordered rare, cooked to perfection. It said Bourbon Glaze, and they meant it. Heavy boozie taste- so she didn't appreciate it as much as some would have. Lots of sides, beans, coleslaw, confetti corn, Mac n cheese. We also ordered the Moink Balls. Pretty good too! Staff friendly. Down to earth joint. Worth every dollar.

Nice local restaurant. All three meals came out delicious and enough (you don't have to order more to feel full). I had a pool pork Mac and cheese(what a comforting food), my husband had steak tips with mashed potatoes, and chicken tender for a child. Kids meals comes with french fries. I'll come back next time I am around

We came here after hearing about the top 5 BBQ places on WMUR. They did not disappoint. Food and service was great. Pulled pork sandwich, ugly brisket melt, Buffalo chicken dip, pulled pork fries the meat platter were our selections and everything was awesome. Wish they gave a larger portion for the pulled pork fries would be my only recommendation. Really top notch!

I found the food was subpar, lousy, over priced and the staff were disorganized. Worst BBQ I ever seen.

The bar was pretty packed with patron. There was one server and one group of four just finishing up. We were the last for the night. I asked the server if we should just grab a seat and he put us at a table for two. The atmosphere is very charming as others have mentioned.... Beautiful place. Very clean and organized with a fantastic bar. However, the food was fair. Definitely the worst ribeye I've ever had at a "upscale" restaurant. I've had better at Texas roadhouse. My partner had the lamb. At the price point, you would have thought it would've been spectacular. The sides were room temperature at best when it came out. The potatoes seem to have sat on the grill for quite a while...very dried out.But it was not. Ended up not even finishing but did bring it home. The lamb was not flavorful at all. I'm not sure if I should count this to being there on a inclement day and on a slow Sunday. Definitely two strikes against me. Kind of think I would like to go back, but the price point is way too excessive for what you're going to receive. The server however, was on top of it. We were the only table, so what else could he do.

From the moment you walk in, the experience is different. If there's a wait, you can help yourself to a complimentary cheese and dip tray while you wait for your table. Even if you're seated right away, you can still grab a plate for your table. It's such a nice touch that you don't see very often anymore. Their beer and cocktail selection is fantastic and changes with the seasons, so there's always something new to try. Then the famous homemade dinner rolls arrive and they're so good they put Texas Roadhouse rolls to shame! For an appetizer, we ordered the Mexican street corn dip. It had just the right amount of spice and was absolutely delicious. My wife had the blackened fish tacos, I ordered the Asian tuna bowl, and my daughter got the same bowl with salmon. Every dish was cooked perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. Just when you think the meal is over, they come around after you pay with a heaping scoop of homemade white chocolate. It's another thoughtful touch that makes the experience memorable. The prices were more than fair, the portions were just right, and the service was excellent. Restaurants like this where you truly feel welcomed and can enjoy a genuine family dining experience are becoming harder and harder to find. 5/5 stars. The Common Man is an absolute must-try if you're visiting Lincoln or the White Mountains. We'll definitely be back!

Sylvia (?) was the only server/cook there when we arrived on a Monday morning at 9:30 am. There were several locals at the counter top area chatting with her as they discussed life . We were welcomed when we came in and told to sit anywhere we wanted too. Place is clean but there is nothing cozy or warm or intimate about it. the space does not lend itself to that at all. The menu includes breakfast and lunch options but we weren't quite sure what we were in the mood for. I asked about the home fries and she said they were deep fried so I decided no. After debating, we ended up ordering the 2 slice French toast for me and 3 slice for BF. I opted for sausage links and we both wanted real maple syrup which was $1.69 per small bottle. I wanted a glass of water but was told it might not be safe given something, so got bottled water with no ice . BF got coffee that was just ok. We didn't have to wait long for the food. French toast was mediocre - a bit dry - needed more soak time in egg. Butter was cold so did not melt on bread. Maple syrup was cold as well , making the French toast cold overall. Too bad. The sausage links were the brown and serve sausages you get frozen and were over cooked. See photo - just not very good. I hope she improves her cooking skills as there are not many breakfast/lunch spots in Lancaster open on Mondays. However with a tab of $22.00 I would not return unless reviews become glowing. I wish her well.
