This is a review for the weekend breakfast. Didn't end up going for lunch/dinner, but the breakfast was pretty solid. Too bad it's only weekend service. My breakfast burrito was very good. Very hefty too, and honestly too much food for me (I have to work on that). I got it with the pulled pork which I was very impressed with. I think usually I get pulled pork and it's way too dry and I have to drown it with sauce. But this was so tender and juicy. Yes! We also really enjoyed the hash brown patties. My son says they were exactly like McDonald's and that's a fine compliment from him. read more

Stopped in along a road trip for a quick lunch bite. The Cubano style sandwich was very good. Upgraded the side order to onion rings: the batter to onion ratio was well balanced. The 'rings were a bit oily/greasy - still delicious. Service was very friendly and made an effort to keep things quick. Great food. Our party of seven came for a mid week lunch and our lively conversation went silent the moment our food arrived because the food was so good. The pulled pork sandwich was a big winner for my wife and I couldn't get enough of the beef poutine. The beers were cold and the cucumber jalapeño margarita was smooth. A tourist trap... Should have left immediately. Ordered Tanqueray and tonic was the lightest pour I think I have ever gotten. Should have paid and left.. The bartender said she was fussy about food, and should have understood that it was a warning... Chili cheese fries cheese was not melted, chili was warmish... You should not serve anything with unmelted cheese unless specified or a cold sandwich? I don't know who needs to hear this, no one wants non piping hot chili or soup! Also your stupid plastic pans suck... If you serve something in a pan it should be warm and keep the food hot! These pans are very upsetting as someone who has worked in kitchens and as a bartender! The bartender asked if we wanted another round of drinks, no thanks! The ribs were okay! I am a pretty easy to please patron of restaurants, but if someone orders alcohol they want a drink with alcohol in it! If you are worried about serving size use a jigger. When I was a fine dining fast paced bartender they would weigh the liquor biweekly as some staff couldn't be trusted. The first speed pour of the day I would measure after to calibrate my count! It's that easy! If you can't do that you have no talent and have no business being behind a bar. Bartender disappeared for 10 minutes when we were ready to leave? Then got triple sat! They have those stupid hand held order units, I strongly dislike these things. They are a waste of money, and if you do have them use them to get people paid and out of there faster! And absolutely scrumptious chocolate peanut butter pie (might have been a special). I wish I could get that back in my home town. Sadly, they don't serve barbecued chicken, just pork and maybe one beef dish, so we didn't get to try their main product. Really nice service. Everyone is very pleasant. All I can say is Whoa!! We just bought a condo in Bethel, which is about 30 minutes from here. I saw the reviews and let's just say they were right!! We started with the Jalapeno poppers. They came out wrapped in bacon to perfection really temp hot and just the right amount of heat from the pepper. So after looking at the menu, I wanted to try everything. I ordered Mozz Logz... they are truly logs! HUGE! Paradise Rippah! Fantastic, the jalapeño/ Pineapple relish was so flavorful. I then ordered the 3 Bones of Ribs. Lisa our server who was also fabulous told us that they are known for their ribs so I gave them a try. They were fall of the bone good! My wife ordered the BBQ Prok Quesadilla. We went for a Sunday afternoon dinner. ordered bbq beef for me and ribs for the other person. The French fries were good. they are fresh cut and well cooked. the onion rings we good. nothing special. Atmosphere was quiet, family oriented. Ribs- Dry and chewy. Think they were close to jerky but without the flavor. No smoked flavor (plenty of burnt flavor) not at all like I think bbq should be. The "roasted beef". was shredded and greasy with little flavor. No smoked flavors.... really no seasoning at all. I was looking forward to a good BBQ meal. Took a party of five for breakfast. The place was hopping. We were seated promptly and in short order had beverages. They and offer eggs any way you want them, pancakes, waffles, biscuits with sausage gravy, a spin on French toast, a pulled pork hash. Then comes the assortment of meats, sausage links and patties, ham, two kinds of bacon, then hash brown patties or home fries. The biscuit and sausage gravy is outstanding. You can add a second biscuit, but one was more than enough, the second one took me over the top. The hash browns are well seasoned and deep fried. My wife had the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream with pure maple syrup and the applewood bacon, it disappeared in record time as it was great. My son had a ham and cheese omelet it was eggs cooked on the flat top folded over the filling, it would have been better if cooked in a pan as a genuine omelet. The over easy eggs were cooked just right as were the sausage patties and links. Plenty of parking, service was prompt we had a great experience overall and will certainly stop again. The place was clearly on old pizza hut but they did the best with what they had and it's a cute place with bbq decor. My sister loved her apps and her sandwich the "Gor-ham" was to die for. She took the rest home for a small bite later. We also had a dessert called the peach crumble. That was a bit soggy but somehow so damn delicious. My reason for the 4 stars is because I asked 3 different staff members for a side of honey mustard, which never came, and it initially took long for our drinks to be served - if someone (not our original waitress) didn't check in on us, the drinks probably would have been forgotten. This is a really solid bbq place. The building looks like an old Pizza Hut from the outside and is sparsely decorated inside. The poutine is a really good appetizer with an amazing beef gravy. Avoid If You Can!! What a disappointment! Stopped in for Father's Day dinnviously r, and were most unpleasantly surprised by the terrible food and lack of experience of our server. I ordered a Pina Colada, first I asked if they could make one since it ws not listed as a drink special and the head server assured us our bartender could easily make one. What a mistake! We should have known from our horrible drink & lousy burnt shrimp to look at the takeout food, but we trusted them and took it home. What a shock to find out they had burned the ribs and the quesadilla and the fries looked like slimy burnt worms. Obviously, the oil had not been changed since it looked like decades old on the decrepid fries. There was supossed to be coleslaw but that was missing.
