Let me start by saying that I understand that my business will not make or break this business and that's not my intention; I understand how hard it is on small business owners, but it's the little people, like me that keep said businesses open. I believe in good customer service and having a reasonable regard for loyal customers; of which I have been a regular, loyal customer since relocating here. The story...I order the same smoothie each time, it's on the SK app on re-order. A few moments ago I ordered my regular and 2 others, a little over $34. My husband and son start drinking theirs and when I taste mine it tasted like watered down juice, no amount of thickness AND I take out all but one juice blend when I have it made. I took 2 sips trying to convince myself that I'd be able ignore the fact that it wasn't smooth or thick at all. Nope couldn't do it, so I turned back around in traffic and went back. My husband took it inside to tell them that it was too watery (not my usual consistency at all). The owner said that he'd be happy to remake it but he'd charge me for another smoothie. I could see the rationale perhaps if i weren't a regular customer or perhaps a customer with a history of making complaints or maybe if I had drank most of the smoothie, but none of those things were the case, it was literally still full and swishing around the cup like colored water. He just kept saying that they made it according to the recipe and that unless it is usually made with more ice then he had no way to know why it wasn't the usual consistency. All of that could be accurate, but if my other 2 smoothies were of a different consistency (nice and thick and creamy) why would one think that the other smoothie (my smoothie) shouldn't be the same; whether it would require adding more ice or not, a smoothie should not be the consistency of thick water unless someone asks for it to be. After much back and forth he reluctantly agreed to remake it, but by this time I had no desire to engage in what I believed to be a poor expression of customer service; 5-7 minutes of my life that I couldn't get back listening to someone try to convince me why I shouldn't have an issue with a product that I purchased that didn't taste the way that I purchased it to taste. I like the owner; he and I spoke once in great detail about the franchise business and my desire to start one, however the way he handled the situation today gave me pause. Needless to say I will not be patronizing this location again. I don't spend my little money in places where businesses don't value it. If I paid for a product that didn't meet my basic standards, don't tell me why it should. read more

I absolutely love Smoothie King's smoothies, but the customer service here is piss poor. When I walked in, no one was around so after waiting a moment, some kid walked from the back and started fiddling with the register. Instead of addressing me or letting me know he was ready, he just fiddled silently. I had to ask him if he's good and even then, he was very standoffish and cold. A guy with his kid walked in shortly after, and for some reason, they made his 2 smoothies before making mine. It wasn't until another employee emerged from the back that my smoothie was made. I don't know if the first guy didn't know how or didn't want to make my drink, so that was weird. Also, if you like when they fill the cup to the rim, don't go here because they'll leave a large gap instead of shaking the rest out of the blender and into your cup. read more

It took like 10 mintues or more for the employees to make my smoothie. I didn't get a "sorry for the wait " or "have a good day". What customer service suppose to be. Employee that was making it, had headphones and did not care. The other employee made the customer that came in after me, before my smoothie. This location needs to do better with professionalism and friendliness. read more

I absolutely love Smoothie King. Totally refreshing. I tried the Caribbean Way, Passion Passport, Lemon Berry Twist, Angel Food. My absolute favorite is Peach Slice Plus adding vanilla yogurt & cinnamon to make it taste like a peach cobbler! Kudos to an employee who told me to try that. It's so great! Always Clean. The smoothies here are so delicious! I have gone for the last three days and each smoothies has been so good and refreshing.

Won't go back to any smoothie king. 1. It doesn't compare to their franchised competition (I don't think I'm allowed to mention the actual name) 2. Fruit is just left out on the counter all day. Not quite sure what changes they have made here in staff but this place is not like it used to be. I used to enjoy coming in here and getting a good laugh and a smoothie or having a really decent conversation with the gentlemen who would be there in the morning. It's just not there anymore. On top of that when I come to order and I see a sink full of dirty blenders that have been sitting there for god knows how long and there isn't anyone even in the store it just throws the entire appeal off. By far my favorite smoothie place. Get the rewards app on your phone and slowly earn points over time towards free smoothies. You can make most smoothies lighter (lower in calories) by nixing the turbinado. Just order it "light" and you'll save about 100 cals on a medium. The turbinado makes the smoothie sweeter, but it is plenty sweet on its own in my opinion...so it makes sense to lose the extra calories. My favorites are the mangosteen madness or the pure recharge. I love that they have lots of options that don't all have banana in them. read more

Horrible. I've never had any issues at any other location except this one. They never listen to what you want or how you want your smoothie. I've been here multiple times and they always have new employees with horrible attitudes. This is the second time I have been to this location. When we walked in we were greeted by three high school age kids. I went to the register and ordered what I always order which is the slim dark chocolate strawberry smoothie. The girl looked at me like I was an idiot and shook her head. She looks down at the register and looks back at me and says "I don't know what your talking about". Another one of the kids walks over to the menu and points to the menu to the slim section, looks back at me, and says "Is this what you are talking about?" "Yes" I answer, "Its word for word what your website says the smoothie is called." The third of the employees walks over and assists the other two with the register and what goes in the slim smoothie. Terrible experience. Menu training would be helpful for the location and it couldn't hurt if management threw in some manner/ customer service training while they were at it. This is my favorite place to get smoothies megan, evan, cade, william, and katilyn are the hardest working employees that work there, they always greet you with a smile and try their hardest to make each experience better then the last. This group of amazing workers are led by the manager Rachel who strives to make sure that the customers are satisfied with there order and properly cared for i was never a big fan of smoothie king about a year ago but the employees there changed my perspective helping me find smoothies that i would like and giving me recommendations for smoothies to try in the future they make each experience for me a new one full of positive feelings and positive reviews this will forever be my favorite smoothie king if i had to i would drive hours to get a smoothie from this location everyone is extremely friendly and make super delicious smoothies to perfection. read more

Smoothies are tasty, the staff is friendly, the design seems to promote general health. Its a decent choice for some people. The only thing I dislike about Smoothie King is that their veggie options are incredibly limited. I'm talking limited to only two options: carrots and kale. It would be nice to see spinach, broccoli, avocado, etc. as options. I definitely would feel less conflicted about going here frequently since high amounts of fructose does a real number on your blood sugar/insulin response. This location is still pretty new, just opened up a few years ago- as a smoothie king connoisseur I have given them my stamp of approval! I ordered the peanut butter protein plus and it was great. Staff was nice and I had my drink ready in just a few minutes. To anyone who says it is $$$ then they have not been to a smoothie king. All smoothie king drinks will be 6.00-9.00 and if you order a medium it is PLENTY. Usually I will get a small and only a medium if I am sharing. First time trying smoothie king and it was pretty good! Never knew it was more on the healthy smoothie side. Got the Angel food and Berry Punch both in small. The small cup was quite big for me! It's probably the same size of "regular" slush at Sonic's. Friendly and quick service. I ordered Angel food and Berry Punch. Angel food was strawberry banana AND Berry Punch was bunch of different types of berries. I was disappointed in the strawberry banana since I can only tasted the bananas and no strawberry. It should be equal amounts of fruits taste, but that wasn't the case. I already predicted that Berry Punch was going to have a sour and tangy taste. I was blown away since it tasted like a colorful popsicle stick! Tasted wonderful and the sourness was perfect. I'll come back to try out something out of my comfort zone! read more

This is my regular go-to for a meal replacement drink on those busy work days. I usually choose a protein drink with a lower calorie count and they are delicious. The staff are really great, friendly and helpful. I can get in and out of there in 5 minutes which also suits me as I have to pop away from my desk to get my lunch.
