Came here on a humid Saturday evening that had a private event happening so it was really busy. Even though we had a party of 9, we didn't have to wait long to be seated which was nice. We expected service to take a little longer because of how busy it was, but Dustin made sure that we received amazing service! He continued to check on us to make sure we were well hydrated in whatever beverage of our choosing while we waited for our food orders. The food all came out hot and fresh. My husband and I chose the Armor signature burger and I decided to have a side of chili instead of fries and man was that filling! The chili had big chunks of beef in there and didn't have any beans. The cornbread was very moist and delicious with a little kick from the jalapeño. The burger was also very tender. My kids really enjoyed the Milwaukee pretzels because of how soft it was. I was bummed they didn't have any wheat beers, but never judge on the types of beer they have. I started off with a flight and wow, that dark beer (Bauhaus) was pretty good. Dark and smooth! It was a nice day outside so I didn't want a whole heavy beer, so I got a full size American Lager and it was good. That's my 2nd go-to if there's no wheats. I've visited Armor Brewing a few times, and it's a great place to hang out, especially with friends or family. I enjoyed every second of our visit to Armor Brewing! I am not a beer fan, so I love the option for cocktails and mocktails. We started with a hibiscus margarita and some appetizers. The marg was refreshing and still had the bit from the tequila - not too sweet! The cheese curds were some of the best I have ever had (and I'm from the Midwest, so that's saying a lot). 6/5 stars for the curds! The nachos were not a show stopper, a few of the chips were thick and chewy, but there were diverse toppings which combined a lot of great flavors. Chili caught my eye on the menu for being award winning, it was great chili with just enough spice/heat and juicy chunks of brisket. The chicken sandwich was a new menu item and juicy and flavored well! On top of it being great food, it also came out SO fast!! It felt like the drinks and apps came out within minutes of ordering! The atmosphere is warm with a few games playing on the TVs but not distracting from the table conversations or good meal. I have been a steady customer now at Armor and I have to say their brewer, Brian Martin, keeps churning out excellent beers. A new one each week, which you can try on Thursday's for $3. Can't get a better deal in the area. He also always has at least one smoked beer on tap, which I absolutely LOVE! Aside from that, their food is excellent, too. I haven't had anything yet I don't like and right now, my newest obsession is their Edamame. Their spice blend with Furikake is just so addictive! Nothing better than a brewery tucked away in an unassuming industrial park. What a great spot with an awesome vibe and with perfectly appropriate decor. The waitstaff and bartenders were super friendly and welcoming as well. Obviously they have some great beers and pours but the cocktail menu they have is dang near perfect. They also have a pretty decent bourbon collection too. The food, from what I had, was outstanding. Blistered edamame was perfectly spicy and had great flavor. They have excellent fries too. But the dang garlic parm wings were truly some of the best wings I ever had, no exaggeration. Next time someone asks me where to go for wings, I'm sending them here. This place is BUSY on a Friday night! Just a heads up! We were able to get seated right before the real rush came through and we had a party of 10. The was great and the food was delicious! I was visiting a retired Army buddy and we had lunch at Armor - a truly awesome place and its so close to his house. Armor Brewing has a nice outdoor patio area (good when its cooler), pickle ball court, and a playground area for kids! A family friendly place...however the best feature is the beer and food. The selection of beer is awesome with many varieties - being partial to IPAs, I was happy to see a few choices. I started with the Armor IPA and switched to the Hoppy Horizon, a unique IPA because it had a tropical, fruity taste, with a West Coast flavor - I liked it enough I returned after leaving to purchase a four-pack to take home. My buddy ordered some wings - dry rub only. Try it - you too will be a fan as the rub has sweet, savory flavor with a little bit of heat. I ordered the All-American (Wagyu) burger - cooked medium and it was delicious, even better with the cold beer. Look for the ALLEN, TX water tower, Armor Brewing is located at the foot of it - driving to the location may be a bit challenging, at least it was for me as I was visiting. We finally made it to Armor Brewing! It is such a cool spot!!! We came to watch UT Longhorns!! There were plenty of UT fans there. So fun!! Steph, the bartender, took great care of us!!! Fun place to stop by with the family. We had previously come on a rainy night and loved the pretzel and the korean bulgogi fried rice dish. This time around it was nice weather and we brought the kids. They loved running around in the enclosed grassy area and making friends. Our server was attentive, and it was fun to stroll their small market that day. We orderes the pretzel again, along with the cheesecurds. Loved both. The beer cheese with the pretzel is really good, better than most places (many skimp on it or pass off weak pimiento or similar). However, we were unimpressed with our entrees. I enjoyed armor brewing! I heard about this place initially while I was looking at St Paddy's day events, and it looked really beautiful inside. I came last night, on a Friday, and it was busy when I arrived around 5:45pm and only kept getting busier. Loves: -The dart setup was awesome - it was very similar to Flight Club, where its electronic and tracks your score through games, and this was seriously a nice surprise. There was no reservation for that area either - so we sat down and played for $25 an hour -Service was quick and attentive, despite the busy atmosphere -Cheese curds were great -Large variety of beers -Easy parking Dislikes: -There was supposed to be live music at 6pm, but we never saw it -The only cider they have is pre-bottled -Hushpuppies were almost black (pictured) and had this weird unpleasant sweet/tangy taste -Super minimal vegetarian friendly options - you are pretty much limited to sides and desserts -The darts game sensors messed up a handful of times and misread where on the board the darts ended up, making the score a little inaccurate -We never got water, even though the tables around us got it right when they sat down Overall, I enjoyed my evening and would love to come back! It's trivia night!!! When we walked in the server told me that there were no seats available, but I did see an open table that just hadn't been clean yet. So, I asked her could we be seated there and just pull up an extra chair because the table was only for two... we were a party of three... she said yeah I'm sure that will work. It won't be a problem so she allowed me to sit there. We took our time and ordered water at first, and then our waitress was ready quick and fast. We were very surprised because the place was packed. She took our order in within 5 to 7 minutes. Everything we ordered had came out fully cooked and looked so delicious. It was a pretty loud scene, but it was trivia night. I don't know if that's typically how it is, but we didn't mind. Our waitress got our things to us and she was so polite. The food was delicious and the restrooms were clean. Dropped in here for a brunch a few weeks ago with my wife and a couple of her former co-workers. It was a beautiful Saturday, just begging for an outdoor setting for brunch. First thing to know, I think this place has the most dog-friendly and "pup-ular" patio ever, so be prepared. Our servers were very nice and prompt, and our drinks came out quickly. Mine was Gary's Michelada, a wonderful combination of tomato juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, and their Gary Golden Ale, which is described as a "hoppy ale", but the hoppiness was tamed with the other ingredients. Served in a tall glass with a yummy strip of bacon, it was a great alternative to that other brunch favorite, the Bloody mary. Moving on to the food, we started with hush puppies for the table, which netted us five deliciously brown and crispy balls of delight, which were also soft and still moist on the inside, with just the right amount of jalapeno kick. The lemon hot honey drizzle was modest and added a great flavor without being overwhelming. For my main, I opted for the Armor Signature Burger, served with pepperjack cheese, crispy jalapenos, a bit of sweet bacon jam, and a juicy meat patty and bacon. It was done to a proper medium as requested, and accompanying fries were crispy and delicious as well. I did sample some of my wife's bacon fried rice and while I wish it had had more of the promised house kimchi, it was a flavor delight and was popular all around the table. This is a great place for brunch. They have an expansive and nice looking indoor seating area as well for when the weather gets rough, we'll be sure to check that out read more

Came here the day after Thanksgiving with the family and it will now be a go to stop whenever I'm in town. The customer service from walking in to sitting down to leaving was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest and able to recommend/answer all of our questions. Food/Drinks: typically I would never order a cocktail from a brewery but when I say my espresso martini was one of the best I've ever had it truly was. If a brewery can make a great cocktail they have got me locked in for life! I do love beer especially an IPA but for brunch I want my espresso martini. All the food was cooked to perfection the chicken sandwich was spicy and crispy. I ordered the hush puppies instead of fries and wish I had more. Been here several times and all the food I've tried has been spectacular. They currently have a happy hour menu that includes a $10 smash burger that is awesome. It comes with seasoned fries and those are delicious. The burger is cooked and seasoned well, the sauce on it puts it over the top. My hub really enjoyed the gochujang fried chicken sandwich and said he'd get it again. I've tried all of their stouts and love the Front Toward Enemy. Not only does Armor Brewing have amazing gluten free food options (my photo does not do it justice, but I got the Armor Signature on a GF bun with no fried jalapeños), but they also have GF beer options! To start, we had blistered edamame- to die for. Blistering is a game changer! The Armor Signature is quite possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had and you NEED to try it. I also had a spicy margarita which was delicious before finishing with an Austin Eastcider. They hit on all cylinders with an outside happening area with a soundstage for live music, a fireplace to sit around and an area for kids to be kids. The inside has a great feel too. 5 star all the way to whoever designed this place! Our service was OK, but our server had an 8 top in her section and I believe our table suffered a little neglect because of it. For example the kitchen runner set our food down and left and the next time we saw her was 10 mins before we saw our server. I needed malt vinegar for my fish and chips, and by the time I got it my food was no longer hot. Our drinks went dry as wel, which should never happen in my opinion. Food wise I ordered the wrong thing. I got fish and chips and they were pretty average. Also at our table was ordered salmon and a burger. I had a taste of those and will say I lost the menu lottery tonight. The fish and chips were not even in the same league as the salmon and the burger. If this were my restaurant I would step them up, or take them off the menu. Overall just an ok experience. I would come back, but you couldn't pay me to eat the fish and chips again. read more

We randomly found this place while in the area doing some shopping. While I say 'found it', it was with the assistance of a search as you wouldn't just drive by their location as it is a bit off the main road. The place itself has great options for both outdoor and indoor seating - bags games, fire pit, fans with misters. Even with the misters, it was just a bit too roasty for us to sit outside. Indoors you feel like you are in a nice restaurant rather than in a converted industrial space. We happened to be there for brunch and noticed they have a different menu (not sure of the differences in offerings at other times). Our server was great at bringing us samples to try and providing great recommendations. For beverages, I went with the Jody (a Hefeweizen with hibiscus, lime and grapefruit peel. It had great flavor. My husband started with the Saison and then tried the Redeption red ale. He liked them both. For our meal I went with the Bacon Fried Rice. Our server had given me a heads up that it had a bit of a kick so I had the chili sauce served on the side (a wise move for me!). My husband went with the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich. The sauce on his chicken was delicious and the spiciness wasn't too over whelming for me. We have enjoyed Armor Brewing many times since it opened. Tonight however, it was a different experience. We took a family who had never been there, and they probably will not go back. It starts with the fact that our past experience was focused on the family and welcoming atmosphere that we have experienced but dealing with an AI reservation gimmick was the start of our terrible experience tonight. The server, although had a nice personality didn't really know what he was doing. The burgers that normally are great were the worst we have had in a long time. My burger was served halfway out of a bun the was withered. Our guests were not impressed with their food either. The entertainment was so loud that a conversation was impossible. Our disappointment can't be measured because the cost certainly was not worth the experience. It's time for my second office of the day and rather than spend it in a coffee shop, I found this fabulous brewpub. Arriving just after noon, it was busy but not too much that I was able to order their Easy Company light lager. Spending the next four hours sipping at a second beer and sitting in a corner with a power outlet, I got a lot of work done. Some chicken wings were consumed as well. It's quiet here in the afternoon so they didn't mind me taking up a table. I can see this place getting quite busy during the evenings and on weekends.
