    PB Swizzle Acai bowl

3 stars due to the customer service. So I was craving an Acai bowl but I didn't feel like driving to my favorite shop and I remembered Smoothie King sells Acai bowls! Bet, let me order on the app and take a break from work and go pick it up. App says order will be ready in 12 minutes. Long story short I didn't get my bowl until 15 minutes after promised time and the lady working initially gave my bowl to another customer. They were also getting walk in orders done before starting to make online orders which means I could have walked in and placed my order and got my order faster. Doesn't make sense. Now to review my Acai bowl! Surprisingly it was really good and filling. Good tasting acai, tasty granola and the fruit was fresh! For the price ($11.99) you get a nice amount of acai and fresh fruit. Would definitely order again.

We get it, you're health-conscious. You're important, you've got places to be. I think Smoothie King gets the short end of our appreciation for being ahead of some trends as they trickled from the coasts into Middle America. Their product is tasty, convenient, and you know what? It's usually better than any smoothie I can make at home myself, no matter how many blogs I read or bullet blenders I purchase. I think it has something to do with their massive commercial blenders. The ol' Proctor-Silex just doesn't pulverize the ice and give that professional texture like SK can provide. I showed up on a Saturday morning with a child in tow. The little one had just finished soccer and was grumping for a snack. I nabbed him a small Berry Interesting to take the edge off. He was very happy with the beverage, and didn't talk to me for like a half hour while finishing it. For myself, I ordered a Peanut Power Plus + strawberry, and enjoyed my daily protein through a cheerful red straw. Not the biggest chocolate fan, here. Anyway, SK is always intimidating with their menu. There's so much on offer, it's tough to make a decision. Their recipes are usually tasty though, and this time the staff seemed happy to explain things to us. It's easy to get a little choice paralysis. I know that I was showing up a the beginning of the business day and everything, but the store was very clean. Just something I noticed - this is tough to do with all of the sugars and fruity ingredients floating around. It was a very pleasant visit.

First time trying Smoothie King. The line was short, smoothies were tasty and refreshing in this Atlanta heat. The bathroom was filthy and the customer service was just okay, reason for three stars.

This location made our bowls really well but since it's on the beltline it is busy so expect to wait a little. Overall still a great place!

My friends really liked this place so I was curious as to why. So when we got there I realized it was a smoothie bowl place. It was a bit cold yesterday, but I can always do a smoothie bowl. However I say they had an oatmeal bowl, so I opt for that instead. Well When I got my bowl it was warm which I didn't expect I thought it was gonna be like overnight oats. So I was pleasantly surprised. Bust then I was soon disappointed. I ordered the blueberry/strawberry bowl, and literally that's is what I got no pizzazz or anything not even honey on top. It was the berries and sliced almonds. Not bad right, butbwjen i went to tale my first bite? The oatmeal me just felt stiff. It was steelcut oats but it had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! It also was kinda stiff. I then asked for a drizzle of honey to try and soften it up and add some sweetness to it, but it didn't help. Usually oatmeal should be a bit softer not soupy but a bit loose and creamier. This was very stiff. I asked the server in the future could the oatmeal be made with coconut milk or something, she said they normally just use water, which I guess is fine but they dont use enough water so that the oatmeal is a bit more loose. And it has ZERO flavor. The berries did t add much flavor at all. I just figured a place that was steadily busy, would have more to their oatmeal bowl than just oatmeal with berries on top. The should take these bowls off the menu. I said next time I go I amd gonna ask if the can mux in sime coconut milk and honey when they make it and see what they say. So it is worth going back b/c my friend enjoyed her Açai bowl, and I do wanna try one for myself b/c they have so many different smoothie bowls, but unfortunately for me opt for the oatmeal one b/c it was heartier..oh well... So yes I recommend but dont get the oatmeal unless you do what i suggested and ask for some type of milk or even just more hot water amd honey to be added..that is if you don't like stiff unflavored oatmeal.

There are currently Pure Green locations in 22 states; however, this is the only Georgia location. Pure Green is located in the Buckhead Crossing shopping center at the corner of Sidney Marcus Blvd. & Piedmont Rd, w/in walking distance of Lindbergh Marta station. Pure Green is clean and bright. There is comfortable seating with outlets for networking/working & I dig the swing chairs. Customer service was very good. The staff are friendly, helpful & provide suggestions (& samples). I have ordered: Tropical Breeze Smoothie: Mango, pineapple, coconut butter, orange juice, almond milk Pink Dragon Smoothie: pitaya (dragon fruit), mango, pineapple, coconut butter, coconut water Immunity Shot Cold Pressed Juice Shot: Ginger, lemon Tumeric Tonic Cold Pressed Juice Shot: Carrot, pineapple, lemon, turmeric, ginger, black pepper I have also tried their Melon HYDR8 Cold Pressed Juice (watermelon, strawberry, filtered water, lime, probiotics, pink himalayan ) & Salty Caramel Raw Bliss Bites. My husband has tried their Mixed Berry Acai (base: acai blended w/ strawberry & almond milk, toppings: blueberry, strawberry & hemp granola), which he said was good but small in size. I really enjoyed the Tropical Breeze smoothie. You could taste the different fruits but also the creaminess. The Pink Dragon was solid but the pitaya packed less of a flavor punch (to be expected). I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the Tumeric Tonic. The fruit & vegetable flavors balanced the flavors of turmeric, ginger, & black pepper. The ginger in the Immunity Shot was present but not overpowering. I loved their Raw Bliss Bites & that there are nutrient-dense sweet options available.

Couldn't decide which I wanted more so ordered all 3. The avocado toast was terrible. The avocado tasted as if it was a grocery store spread. The toast was not toasted but that wouldn't have helped. The bread itself aspired to be mid. To try to save it they sprinkled salt and chile flakes. There was no integration in this sandwich. It was disjointed and low quality.... I threw it away. The almond butter was better... it was fresh but still had to deal with that non toast ...struggling to be mid level bread. The big problem with the almond "toast" was the sliced bananas on top. They weren't ripe. Sweet bananas go nicely with almond butter but starchy green bananas not so much. The açaí bowl was acceptable if not extraordinary. Its main problems were unripe bananas and almond butter that was just placed in the bottom of the bowl to be discovered as the unsuspecting eater was nearing the end of the açaí. I like almond butter but a large glob in the final few mouthfuls is not my idea of best usage. There are far better versions of all of these. Off the top of my head Kale me crazy has superior avocado and almond butter, flower child much better avocado toast and a number of the Açaí chain restaurants have better Açaí bowls.
