I have been going to this location forever. Even before this last manager took over. I will say that at first the service was excellent!. However that has definitely since changed.There has been one worker that has not been so pleasant. Not really sure what happened but there are three young ladies that work the morning weekend sift that up charged my order. At first I thought maybe the cost was just going up, whatever. But today I went to this location and they seemed to be a little short handed and I could empathize with that. No rush. But when they called my order, the worker was still putting my smoothie in the cup. The smoothie was still kind of thick so it needed help coming out. Instead of the worker getting something to help the smoothie get in the cup or blend it more they thought it was okay to give me a cup that was 3/4 full. I've been to this location several times, as I'm addicted to the mango kale smoothie with no bananas. The staff pretty much has no personality but for a business such as this it doesn't matter to me. As long as they get my smoothie correct, they don't have to interact with me one bit. When this location is busy, it gets very congested. Parking isn't an issue, but the layout of the store is irritating when it's busy. As far as the smoothies go, this location is inconsistent. Sometimes my smoothie is super thick; other times, it's almost like straight liquid. The flavor is sometimes different as well. Sometimes it tastes like more mangoes were added or barely any almonds. If it was the same every time, like many of the other locations, I would have no complaints at all. This is a nice location for Smoothie King. I've visited this location a few times since it opened and have always been impressed by the service. The past couple of weeks, I came here more often than usual because my blender broke and I wanted some smoothies in the mornings of my days off. I generally stick with one thing once I find something I like so I've been getting the berry & banana one with no sugar. I've had some of their other smoothies before and I feel that it's a bit too sweet. I honestly think the natural sweet flavors from the fruits are enough so I've been ordering my smoothie without sugar (they insist on calling it "skinny" and I'm not exactly sure I'm a huge fan of that terminology in this case). The location is very convenient, it's easy to get in and out of with enough parking, the staff have always been friendly, the store itself is very clean and well-maintained, and they have other health food products you can find around the counter area. It is definitely less cramped compared to the Delmar Loop location. I can't say enough great things about this place! read more

I've had good experiences here and some bad experiences, but overall, I've left happy. I usually order the strawberry hulk (huge # of calories to help me bulk up) which always tastes delicious. There are so many drink options for whatever you are looking for- bulk up, slim down, energize, vegan, or dairy-free. There are also several mix-ins you can add for extra energy, vitamins, or other health benefits. The drinks are always made to order, but I'm usually in and out in under 5 minutes. I once had an employee here make fun of me for ordering a large 2000 calorie smoothie with a fellow coworker. But every time since, I've been greeted right away and with no problems. Tips: -If you are in a hurry, you can call your order in ahead of time so that it is ready when you arrive. -If you have their MySmoothie app, make sure you check before you order. About half the time there is a coupon for a discounted drink or a free add-in just for checking in. -Always ask for your receipt- there is always a $1 off coupon when you complete a survey. -Ask for a small or medium and you might get a larger size since there is always extra smoothie leftover in the blender. read more

It is Saturday 4/18/20, when we ordered our smoothies around 3:45 pm Central Time. The website stated this is online ordering for curbside pickup only due to COVID-19. Instructions state to park in designated area, and it gave a number to call to have the order brought out. What really happened was: I pulled up to the designated parking area, and noticed a sign in front of me with a completely different number on it to call. I first called the number on the website....no answer. I called the number on the sign.....no answer. I noticed people inside, walking inside, and walking out with their orders. I realized this is clearly NOT curbside. I walk in to let the 2 employees know we have a pickup. I informed the one taking cash money about the website stating it is curbside pickup, and about the incorrect number. It was apparent he did not care. What disturbed me more is that neither of the employees were wearing masks or GLOVES during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maybe employees at Smoothie King are soooo essential, they don't need to follow protocol?! It is my personal opinion that Smoothie King is part of the problem with this virus spreading like it is! The location is very roomy and I have never had a problem finding a parking spot right out front. The smoothies seem to range in price from $4-8. All day on Fridays, the medium smoothies are $5. The workers were all friendly and helped me with my selection during the first visit. In addition to smoothies, they also retail protein powder, health snacks and bars, as well as other health foods items. One reason for ONE star. FILTH! I was in this store this past Sunday. There was a faint smell as you entered. Not good. On closer inspection, the floor was dirty. It had clearly not been cleaned in a while. Debris in corners, under tables...bad. Then i looked behind the counter. The FILTH on the ice receptacle was ridiculous. One blender was SITTING in a pool of melted 'chocolate'. Each cover on each blender was dirty. The floor in the back...filthy. EVERY SINGLE surface needed to be wiped down. Another customer commented on the smell. Sorry....3 people behind the counter, and not once did i see anyone cleaning. They were NOT busy. AWFUL, FILTHY, DIRTY.
