Very dirty. Bad smell. Employees not washing their hands before making smoothies after handling money.

The rating is NOT based on the product...the smoothies are always good. The customer service is the reason for the rating. There's one lady there that doesn't smile...like she seriously does not enjoy her job or has bad days every time I've been there....but she makes really good smoothies! So maybe if they had the guy take the order and she makes the smoothies it would run efficiently enough to get a better review. Let me clarify, she's NOT mean or anything and she gets the order correct...just doesn't smile or say anything beyond what needs to be said to get you your smoothie and get you on your way. I will go back...that won't stop me from my $5 Friday smoothie! read more

This Smoothie King is in a great location! It's conveniently located in a shopping center/food area off of Woodlawn and Park. It gets very busy during lunch. The employees are pretty fast so the wait time is short. The smoothies are delicious and flavorful. There are so many types of smoothies to choose from that you could go every day for weeks and never get the same one. read more

Do not and I repeat do not visit this location on Woodlawn. The morning shift person/young lady has no concept of productivity and people's time. I have been visiting this establishment for a few months since SK rolled out their smoothie bowls. It never fails the young lady with the dreads is always slow in preparing the orders. I thought I was being efficient this morning by downloading the SK app and placing my order online at 8:00am. It confirmed my order to be ready at 8:11am. I got to SK at 8:15 and the same young lady comes out from the back and I stated I was here to pickup my bowl and I provided my name. When she said she would have to make it "my head was on swivel" as I couldn't believe this chick had not made my smoothie bowl. I told her what was the point of me ordering it online if I still had to come in and wait for you to make it? She looked at me like a deer in headlights. I said just refund my credit card please. Please know there were no customers in the store and no orders made waiting for pickup. I have no clue what this young lady's issue is but management needs to either fire her or train her on efficiency and be there in the mornings when she is working. I was the only one in the store and I ordered a very easy smoothie. Lean one chocolate. Small. It took the employee approximately three times to try to make it. Not enough ice. Too much ice. Couldn't get it out of the blender. Wouldn't give me my money back. Another employee came out to make it and it didn't even fill up the cup. Seriously. A good inch and a half from the lid. Wasn't mixed well. I was biting into chunks of almonds or ice. Won't be back. read more

Once in a while they have great coupons so make sure you take advantage of them! They are usually neighborhood mailings but i am sure a quick google Search online will also yield great saving results. I'd saying without the coupons it is a bit overpriced, almost $5 for a smoothie in charlotte?? After all these years, i still prefer the classic Carribean way flavor. It's pretty much strawberry based. I have never tried their enhancers but i am eager to hear what others have to day about them. Also, they claim That some of their smoothies can substitute a meal, i am doubtful of that, maybe it can substitute my breakfast. read more

Smoothie King is simply awesome. The menu is enormous and it may take you a minute to figure out what you want to try but the selections are wonderful. If there's a smoothie you would like to try but do not care for one of the ingredients they will leave it out for you or you can replace it with another without any static or eye rolls... give it a try if you haven't already. I like the meal replacement smoothies. Especially the chocolate one and I add banana. I don't taste banana, but I think it adds something to the texture. Gives it a more toothsome quality. The staff are as friendly as they can be. It's usually been a steady stream of people when I've been in. It's clean and stocked with an assortment of powdered drink options as well as jerky, candy and energy boosters. The parking can be a bit tight in this center. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AT WOODLAWN!! According to the Charlotteonthecheap App, Smoothie Kings in the area are offering a free 20 oz. Keto Champ smoothie for anyone who shows they have walked 10000 steps today (August 20,2019). After I completed my 5 mile walk (10k steps), I went into the Woodlawn Smoothie King and politely asked if they were honoring today's special deal to which I received blank stares and ugly grimaces on the 2 employees' faces. They asked what I was talking about so I pulled up the app and showed them...again they shrugged and said that their manager had not mentioned anything about it. I smiled and said "no problem, I'll head over to the East Blvd location ". 1 minute later, I called East Blvd to inquire whether they were participating and the employee stated very pleasantly, "we sure are - come on over!" SOOO, I am writing this review from a table outside of the East Blvd Smoothie King, enjoying my free 20 oz. Keto Coffee smoothie and will make this location my new stop for smoothies! This location almost always has wheatgrass shots available which is why I make the drive every now and then. Depending on time of day the parking lot can be congested and parking scant (the tanning salon right next door is always crazy busy). The service is quick and efficient (no spills, no mixups). It's a little pricey considering they don't use fresh fruit. read more
