The restaurant is located inside a strip area and was very cute inside, so while waiting for my shake, I decided to take photos. My shake my ready shortly after and even though nobody was in the restaurant except me, the young lady that prepared my order made me walk near the back of the restaurant to pick up my order (which is where you pick up, but literally no one was inside)! Once I walked back, she then inquired if I was taking pictures and the tone felt a little interrogational. I immediately responded that I was, but not of her. She then said something to which I didn't hear and I left. Honestly I left feeling a little embarrassed, I've never had anyone questioned if I was taking a photo. My shake was very flavorful and light which I enjoyed. However, 2 hours later I felt the worse pain in my stomach and to be as nice as possible. I spent the rest of the day until Thanksgiving morning in the bathroom. The shake was good, but the after effects and the mediocre service was not worth it.

They have a great plant based/vegan protein option. And the granola is one of the best I've had. The decor is very casual and modern, with bright splashes of personality throughout. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff does a great job of keeping the space tidy and delivering excellent customer service. On both visits they've been patient with answering my questions and helping me make a selection from their abundant menu. I also really appreciate that they maintain human connection in the experience by taking orders at the counter despite there being a self checkout kiosk.

Not the Atmosphere for Me…read more I really wanted to like Dutch Bros, and I gave this location several chances on different occasions before deciding it simply isn't for me. One positive is that I do feel you get a generous amount of coffee for the price, especially compared with some other coffee chains. Unfortunately, my biggest issue is the overall atmosphere and level of professionalism. I come to a coffee shop for coffee and friendly service--not to hear employees' personal political opinions, social views, relationships, sexuality, or other parts of their private lives repeatedly brought into customer interactions. Regardless of someone's beliefs, orientation, politics, or lifestyle, I think employees should keep highly personal or potentially divisive subjects out of the workplace unless a customer specifically engages in that conversation. The communication style also became irritating. One employee repeatedly responded with "I gotchu" to nearly everything I said. After hearing it over and over, I finally joked that if she "got me," maybe she was paying for my coffee. Casual service can be fun, but there is a point where it starts feeling forced rather than genuinely friendly. On another visit, an employee attempted to speak Spanish to me in a way that came across as awkward and presumptuous rather than helpful. I understand she may have had good intentions, but employees should avoid making assumptions about customers or what language they prefer. I'm sure this atmosphere appeals to some people, but it wasn't welcoming or comfortable for me. My constructive suggestion would be to focus more on professional, courteous customer service and great coffee while leaving employees' personal beliefs, politics, relationships, and private lives outside of customer interactions.
