Shay was super nice! She really knew the menu well and was able to help me substitute some things that I didn't like!

I have shopped at Sevananda for over 3 decades!!! This is hands down my absolute favorite store for…read moreall things health and wellness related ... food, snacks, weekend breakfast , packaged vegan food, shea butter, hair oil, BODY oil, incense ... all the things! Located in Little Five Points, this ATL staple is convenient to a quaint neighborhood for shopping, dining, people watching and Atlanta culture immersion. The hot bar is phenomenal - unmatched. I particularly love the spelt biscuits from the weekend breakfast bar. The grits and tofu scramble are also good. If you're familiar with and love Tassili's, but don't love the wait, you can pick up the wraps here as well. And if you're feeling fancy - wanting to try some vegan, premade meals, take a look in the refrigerated case for everything from kale salads, chia pudding, kelp noodles, and vegan spaghetti to sprouted quinoa, collard greens, vegan shrimp and vegan Mac and cheese. The frozen food, nuts and dried fruit sections are also well stocked. I canNOT say enough about this space. If you haven't visited, it's a MUST STOP IN.

I am writing this review to share my dissatisfaction regarding the lack of professionalism,…read morehorrible customer service, and rudeness displayed by the young cashiers and the male customer services worker at Sevananda over the past couple of months. First, let me preface by stating that I had been a consistent weekly customer that made significant purchases. When entering the store, you may or may not be greeted, which was customary a year ago. The male customer services person with a stocky build is extremely unprofessional. I encountered a rude interaction with one of the cashiers who was dismissive. arrogant, and rude when I was attempting to have a cordial conversation. This never would have happened last year with the previous customer services manager. I went to the current male customer services manager to express my concern about Renee's rude attitude. This manager's first comment to me was "What's up?!" I looked at him in disbelief and immediately responded, "That's completely inappropriate. I am a customer. This is a business interaction, not a social interaction." He then apologized. I explained to him about Renee's dismissive and rude demeanor and wanted to write a complaint. I asked for a complaint card. He handed me two postcards to write my complaint on the back. That was completely unprofessional. After I wrote my complaint and submitted it with my contact information, nothing was done. There was no follow up nor apology. I returned to the store on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, after two weeks and saw that the situation has worsened. The young cashiers were dancing and talking loudly as if in a club setting. The customer services manager joined in the melee. He was a very active participant. Horrific! I own several businesses and had wanted to support Sevananda since it's a community co op. However, I am no longer interested in supporting this business given the lack of professional decorum, arrogance, lack of business etiquette and lack of respect for loyal customers. In talking to my friends, many no longer frequent this store for the very same reasons. In closing, I I submitted my complaint to the Sevananda email and to the contact [age on their website over a week ago with my contact information. Per usual, no one contacted me via phone nor email. The professional decorum, etiquette, and common courtesy and respect are now things of the past with this current customer services manager and the cashiers. If you desire to visit, good luck!

This business is a hidden gem. Female minority owned (maybe Middle Eastern) with two locations, one…read morein Kirkwood and the other @ Serenbee? The owner co-hosted an event that highlighted a THC drink called Teazy. It was invite and RSVP only. There was education and tastings that helped to inform guests about the benefits of THC/CBD for women's hormonal balance and brain function instead of alcohol. Afterwards, we mingled and did some private shopping around the store. I spent about $80+ on Teazy, mushroom gummies, and lavender syrup for my beverages. There is a vast range of products and options beyond a package store serving liquor/alcohol bcos this is a NON-alcohol business, hence the catchy name "Soberish". Get it? Cute! You don't have to sacrifice the taste in your mocktails. Tons of options. I will be back!

I actually did better just cutting it completely out. The drops added to my cat art Cherry drink didn't have a taste. The Berry shots were not as good as I would have preferred. Service on my order was delayed, but they kept me updated. The owner wrote a cute note inside. She's sent emails out after but the email claiming they "missed me" and hoped I would reorder about 2 days after I received my shipment didn't feel authentic. It may work for many, but personally I felt like I fell for the hype of this company. The packaging is cute tho.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way... This has been my farmers market ever since I moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. What keeps me coming back isn't just what they have--it's who they have. The staff here has always made me feel like family. Whether it's the sweet gentleman who cuts the fresh pineapple, the gentleman preparing fresh coconut water, or the ladies at the checkout counters, everyone is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Those interactions may seem small, but they're a big part of why I continue to return year after year. Of course, the selection is incredible as well. This is where I buy most of my fresh fruit, a lot of my meat, and--let's be honest--my desserts too. Speaking of dessert, there is one item I absolutely have to mention: the fruit tart. I've tried fruit tarts from all over, and I can honestly say this market has my favorite one. Every single year, it's become my birthday tradition to pick one up, and I look forward to it just as much as the celebration itself. It really is that good. One thing I've always appreciated is the consistency. No matter which part of Georgia I've lived in over the past decade, I've continued making the drive because I know exactly what kind of experience I'm going to have every time I walk through the doors. A couple of helpful tips if you're visiting for the first time: * While the parking lot can look busy, I've almost always been able to find a space. You may have to park a little farther away, but a few extra steps are well worth it. * Also, be sure to come prepared--this market accepts debit cards or cash only, so credit cards aren't accepted. There are plenty of farmers markets around Atlanta, but this one has always felt like home to me. Between the incredible selection, consistently fresh products, and the kindness of the people who work here, it's a place I'll continue returning to for years to come.

This market is overwhelming...in a good way.
