This was my very first visit to Nature's Own Herb Shop, and I'm visiting all the way from Michigan. I've been dealing with serious health issues, including debilitating muscle contractions and spasms, which made it difficult for me to get out of the car. My best friend went inside to ask for help on my behalf. The owner listened carefully to what I was experiencing and immediately suggested an electrolyte drink. She then personally prepared the most delicious fresh ginger, lemon, and honey tea -- crafted with such intention, warmth, and care. At her suggestion, and after she completed making everything, my friend brought it out to the car so I could begin feeling relief right away. Her compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism are truly unmatched. It's rare to encounter someone who serves so wholeheartedly, and her actions made it clear that she is in a league of her own. Even without meeting me face-to-face, her kindness and genuine concern for my well-being were unmistakable. I am incredibly grateful for the care she extended to me. Love this health food store. Located in Hapeville next door to Green Soma Vegan. Parking can be a little tricky here with only a few spots open in the front. Keep driving around a spot will open up. Not only do they have all of the vitamins and herbs, they have healthy fresh smoothies as well. They even have a section of vegan frozen food items and drinks for vegans! Beyond meat included. It's a small store inside but very nice. Everyone was very friendly too. I'm so happy I found this place. I'll be back!! read more

I visited Natures Own Herb Shop in Buford near Oriental Js. The owners son is usually there abs provides excellent service. He is always full of knowledge and if he doesn't know the answer his mom is only a phone call away. This is my preferred place to buy natural herbs and vitamins. I would recommend it to anyone. They also sell and herbal tea by the gallon. I am trying to gain some insight from people who have used it to determine the efficacy and the duration necessary to lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol. This is a wonderful place to buy herbs, vitamins and food. The herbs and vitamins are of high quality. I recommend anyone needing herbs and vitamins to visit this shop. The owner's knowledge of the products was refreshing and the service was great. I am very pleased with the products purchased. Parking here is tricky, limited spots up front & confusing signs in the back, in the back park at the burgundy fence, just go straight there. All other spots have signs threatening to boot and/or tow. Cons: it's small & cramped Pros: they have a huge selection of supplements, food, snacks, cbd products & they even make smoothies! They have great customer service & are very knowledgeable of all the products they carry & even have a loyalty program! I will return! read more

Extremely Poor Customer Service and Integrity I went into the Nature's Own Herbal Shop in Hapeville, GA on Thursday, September 21, 2023 and purchased 10 essential oil items and 2 health food items totaling $203.70. When I got home, I saw that all of the bottles had already been opened prior to me purchasing them and some of the bottles had the letter T written on them. The saleswoman selected the bottles, not the customers as the essential oil bottles are right behind the cash register and counter. Today (9/22/2023), I went back to the store to exchange the items but they refused to take the items and only offered to replace the bottles with the letter T (tester bottles) on them. Furthermore, one of the workers stated that she told me that the bottles were test bottles, which she didn't, because I wouldn't have paid the regular price for opened and used bottles. I then asked to speak with the owner, she said that the owner is worse than her. With that being said, I wouldn't shop at this store again. They don't appreciate their patrons and are rude, unprofessional, void of customer service, lack integrity and ethical behavior. Again, all essential oil bottles had previously been open. The African lady kept stating rudely that the bottles had not been used and I tried to explain that I was not saying all the bottles of essential oil had been used, I was stating that all the bottles had been opened and to exchange bottles with bottles that had never been opened. She only was going to replace the three tested bottles which were the Frankincense ($25.19), Sandalwood ($31.49), and Cedarwood ($5.99). I would never pay that amount of money knowingly for test bottles of essential oil. This is not ethical behavior; nor, did they provide me any customer service, they are not honest or fair. If the African lady had not been so rude, I would have probably taken the new 3 unopened new bottles, and left. However, I gave them all 10 bottles and left them on the store counter, at the store and left. They would not give me new unopened bottles nor would the store credit my Credit card. I didn't know that I was supporting a small business that would have issues when I returned their inferior products to them. All that she needed to do was to do the right thing: either give me new unopened bottles or credit my credit card account. I only gave it the one star rating in order to post the review, otherwise it would be a rating of zero. read more

Every time I visit this place whether it's busy or not, the customer service is always great. I had a colonoscopy last year in October, the Dr. didn't remove 1 of the 3 polyps because if removed it would cause other issues. A few months ago I ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with Colitis. They prescribed me so many meds it was ridiculous. Make a long story short, Mr. Ardina recommended 3 different things for my issues, mind you I DID NOT take the prescribed meds. I took the products she suggested for 1 month. I just had another Colonoscopy today, the Dr. informed me that the polyp is GONE and I DO NOT have colitis. This isn't my first time coming into the establishment. The first time I came into the place was a pass by view from a vegetarian restaurant that I visited. (I will be reviewing on that later, smiling) But the atmosphere was so pleasing and inviting. Now it is very small but it has a plethora of herbal items, organic foods, and even a small smoothy and fresh food section. I told my self that I will come back...and here I am! But this time I came with some digestive issues and had an opportunity to talk to the owner about it. She was very informative, she listened intently to my symptoms and knew right off the bat what I needed. I wanted to wean off the medicine that I was taking because I know that it wasn't healing my body. So, I took her advice and I was feeling better within 2 days of taking the meds. If you are not sure on what to do or where to start, this lady is very informative and definitely know what she is talking about. The funny thing is that I actually spent the same amount of money for the herbs and vitamins that I would have spent for one bottle of medicine. Hmmmm... Sweeping, checking stock, looking at merchandise. I was about to checkout so I went back down aisles to be sure. If you want to be treated nicely while spending a wad of cash on such items as the excellent 100% Hand-churned Shea Butter from far away African villages or sage to burn in your home or Mangosteen Juice (which is billed as the nectar of the Gods)--try to avoid the owner of the joint.... sometimes she can be nasty and kind of rude, depending on how her day is going; if you are lucky, you might encounter the other clerk that works there........she is very down to earth and friendly. read more

I went in this shop after eating next door at Green Soma Vegan Cafe, the owner seemed to be in an "all over the place mood" and was more concerned about parking spaces outside, but I took it with a grain of salt and still looked around. I ended up grabbing a salad which looked amazing and was priced at $8.99. When she rang me up she told me my total would be $12+. I asked how and she said because the ingredients were all organic. I said no problem but the sign above it says $8.99. She said yes but I need to go up in price because the ingredients are organic but I'll just charge u $10.99....before I could part my lips I guess my non verbal communication spoke for me as the lady then said well I'll go ahead and do it for $8.99 this time. The next day I went in just to see if the salads were the same price and she had changed the sign to $10.99. Also, she only gave me one small cup of dressing which didn't even really cover the salad because it was fairly large and her "organic" ingredients turned out to be wilted lettuce. The strawberries were sweet though. On another note: I did go back and purchase moringa living bitters a product that I use quite frequently. And I also purchased an herbal supplement called Serious Cough which after using it noticed the expiration date was 02/2019. I didn't take it back because I had already used it. The owner is very rude and so entitled. And it's spilling over onto her employees. I went in and know one greeted or even asked how may I help after 5 min of looking for what I wanted. Keep in mind it's a small store. You would think this plandemic would would soften hearts of people. But it's making them show there true selves. You walk in a health food/nutritional store it is suppose to be a better atmosphere, other than rude stares and unpleasant vibes. Before this whole mess happened the stores owner was unfriendly to us. Now it's worse. Won't return ever. I go here only for the alkaline water. I browse the clearance sections near the front as my water jug fills up. I hear the owner is very knowledgable but I find her personality a little weird so I tend to avoid conversation. The store has a good selection and while the prices aren't outrageous they just can't compete with online retailers like Amazon and Lucky Vitamin. I have been a good customer for a few years now. Unfortunately one of the newer employees, a young man, insists on diffusing the entire store with what smells like an entire bottle of cinnamon essential oil. It is so strong it made my eyes water and stuck to my clothes for hours. I asked him to please turn off the diffuser because it was nauseating, he said "oh I love cinnamon" and walked away. I have left messages for the owner on product requests and about the cinnamon problem and no one has called me. Everytime I have seen the owner in there she is micromanaging and very manic in general. I see I'm not alone in my assessment of her. So I guess I'm done. read more
