The food is fresh and delightful. This is a very unassuming place that has quality food and smoothies. I tried the green smoothie and it was really good. There was just enough hint of Ginger and the flavor was amazing! I tried a few things here, the orange chicken and the curry chicken are the best. The fish was just okay in my opinion. I purchased orange chicken and a side salad. Pros: the food was very tasty and I would come back for the food taste and the food taste only! Cons: no customer service whatsoever so if you need that this ain't the place for you baby. I approached the small window as there is no inside access and let them know I was new and what was on their menu. As their only menu is a dry erase board with the menu items barely visible. The man at the window wasn't helpful with making a selection just kept walking off after getting interrupted mid sentence. I was very confused. Also they gave me a TON of rice, a small salad and a bit of veggies and literally 4 pieces of orange chicken. I was very disappointed that I paid $18.00 for a meal with probably 4 Oz. Of meat on it. The neighborhood is sketchy but that doesn't bother me that's usually where the good food is at. I don't have much to yelp about for the reason I visited the restaurant when the pandemic first started. We weren't allowed to enter the restaurant so I was unable to snap photos. Its not much to look at outside so Im sure a lot of people pass by them. The beauty at this spot is not about what you see on the outside, its about whats happening on the inside. For lunch I order the orange chicken plate with veggies and rice. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't serve lunch portions and once I began eating I was happy about that. Look at the picture closely. Look at that orange chicken! When I first arrived, I was a little bit suspicious about the location because this is not a dine in location. But never judge a book by its cover! They are some reviews about the attitude of this location but I had the opposite experience. Servers were perfectly normal and attentive. I did not feel as if they were rude and I actually observed the opposite. Really chill people. The food is pretty good. The orange chicken in the photo is something I never tasted before. Everything about this small business is just lovely! Nestled, almost hidden in the corner of a dark street on the east side, it's still very warm and welcoming upon entrance! I was a bit intimidated as it's not very clear what they sell there, I just knew I wanted to support a dope small business! I ended up with a house made smoothie that they gentleman had just whipped up that had delicious mango, carrots, and some greens in there for good measure! Ordered a fish wrap, and it was amazing. The fish wrap came with a side of salad. I am very picky and was amazingly pleased with the taste and the presentation of the food. I also ordered a blueberry smoothie, and although I am not a fan of blueberries, the smoothie was very tasty and had a hint of ginger. The customer service was on point, I informed the person this was my first time ordering and he was very nice and offered suggestions on the menu items. This little hole in the wall used to be so good. My second to last experience wasn't great when I received two dried out, burnt under the lamp patties under the guise that they were "still good". They absolutely were not edible. I said I wouldn't be back for a while (I used to patronize them all the time). I decided to give them grace some months later with no improvements. I spent $37 on a fish dinner, two patties, and a side of mac n cheese. The fish dinner was piled with rice, two bites of a salad and a little steamed veggie on top for over $17. I took one patty back to my car and waited for the remaining food. Over 20 minutes later I was brought my dinner with no extra patty and no overpriced, mushy mess of mac n cheese. I had to get out of my car and go back to the walk up window to inquire about the rest of my order. The owner's son could not remember that I'd just given him $17 on my card and an additional two tens for the patties and mac. He'd taken my money and was asking me what I had ordered and how much money I'd given him. I ended up having to go back to my car & wait an additional 10 minutes. Mind you, I was the only one awaiting food in the parking lot. Horrible customer service. I won't be back. I really hate to see black businesses go down like this. So disappointing...... read more

I came here today as I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was in the area. Unknowingly I drove right past it as the place is small so easy to miss. After calling for directions I was able to locate. When I arrived a guy from back greeted me with his voice as he was prepared food. There was a customer inside eating a spinach patty and I asked her what her recommendation was. While doing so the guy working came up with her food and the customer informed me that I could see her food to see if I was interested in ordering. She said the guy usually showed your food to you before purchased. When she asked the guy to show me the food he grew impatient and went to help another customer. Not sure what the problem was. I ended up decided to get what the previous customer had which was the I-tal Stew. Unsure what it was made of because when I finally was able to place my order, the guy wasn't receptive to answering questions and the lady who run me up didn't know what the stuff was made of. Although the customer was two thumbs down, I did really enjoy my order. Not sure yet if I would return (service is as much important as quality to me). I have passed this shop numerous times without considering it. On the outside it appears to be a very small home that's been repurposed. Anyhow a friend recommended it and am I happy I stopped by! It's right next to a small auto tire store and they share the parking. There are a couple seats in the yard and tight seating on the inside. From the looks of their set up, the business does a great deal of take out and pick ups. The shop is clean and eclectic in appearance. The cooking and plating is done pretty much out of site. The owners of this small family business are both friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the benefits of eating a vegan diet and the use of herbs, juices and teas. I ask for a tea to hello with my headache and fresh ginger was grated, brewed and strained into my cup.. same as the venti size of a popular coffee shop.. but for $2!! The Spinach Patty is delicious.. I ordered one and while waiting for our teas ended up eating it. So I ordered another to go. A few days later I popped by again for a fruit smoothie. The food is very good and tasty however the customer service needs work. I walked up to the window and the woman behind the counter asked me what I wanted to order. I began to tell her and she walked off and began to do other work. Finally a man asked me if I was being helped and I said no. He took my order and said he would bring it to me. I ordered a spinach patty and the orange chicken meal. I waited approximately 10 minutes and he walked out and handed me the bag. It was a good thing I looked inside before I drove home because the spinach patty was not there. I confronted the man and he said oh we don't have anymore. We only have vegetable patties or your can get a refund. I was completely annoyed so I just took the vegetable patty because I had a feeling the refund would have been an issue. Saturday the husband had to make a Home Depot run and wanted me to tag along so that afterwards we could grab some lunch at one of his favorite wing places that's actually spacious and have a nice dining environment, which is VERY important to me, however I am putting forth an even greater effort to eat healthier, especially when eating out, which is not that often. I decided to go to my reliable Yelp to find a place of interest that was close by that I could get carry out and take it to the restaurant my husband wanted to eat and we could both have what we wanted. I came cross I Juice & Smoothies, which was only a few minutes away. If not for Yelp , I would have never noticed this place. Because of the reviews that warned of it being hard to find or easy to pass because it was a small place, helped me to avoid that issue and thanks to whoever posted the pic of the joint that helped tremendously to know what to look for. The place is actually smaller than it appears on pic. , but set up well with utilization of the space as seen more frequently with small family businesses in other countries or islands. I loved the authenticity of the place and did not mind the long wait for my (2) spinach patties and green smoothie of kale, apple & something else that I don't want to quote, but believe the smoothie ingredients in each flavor is the same, but No doubt can be tweaked to your taste. After Ras Mike finished my smoothie, he gave me a sample to se if it was to my liking and it was surprisingly Deeeeeeeelocious, although it would have been even better if it was a littler cooler. I ate my spinach patty while waiting for my drink and I am in love and need not say more ! I had gotten the second spinach patty for my husband in hope that he would like them and it would be a way to get something green in him, but he took a bite of mine right in the middle where the good part was and a little spice and he turned at least two shades of red and started looking around frantically for something to drink. I could imagine steam coming out of his ears with a cold drink. If you have a ZERO tolerance to hot/spicy as he, just eat each end of the patty. I stopped by iJuice yesterday to try and get some of their delicious vegan Mac and cheese. I was disappointed that it wouldn't be ready until 3 and it was only 1. The lady taking my order suggested that I try a piece of their lasagna, so I went with her suggestion and was delighted! It was so darn good and it was a large enough portion that I was able to have some for lunch and dinner. I also got a Carnival, which is this pretty colored smoothie with fresh fruit and sea moss. I was a little concerned about how the sea moss would taste, but couldn't even tell it was in there. I also had a pattie. It was good, but not something I'd have to order every time. At first glance this is a little run down place and its located in the same parking lot as an old tire shop. So it's understandable that you might be a little apprehensive about entering and eating. But if you know anything about mom n pop shops, then you know, most hole in the wall spots are better than the done up ones. Lissssseen.....sooooo I'm def not vegan but Vegan or not this place is great! This place got custom smoothies and juices. Some of the best style of flavored tofu I've ever tasted and fish. Ive tried tofu once or twice in life and questioned how the hell do people eat this stuff?! But that wasn't the case here. They have this "orange chicken" that's AMAZING!!! Taste just like meat, is soooo good and flavorful and it's tofu people!!Had it with the rice n peas and fresh salad! They had this delicious dressing to go with the salad with avocado. Omg, everything tastes like heaven If you read my other reviews on the other Caribbean restaurants I've been to out here, then you know I do NOT favor a lot of these places as they have nooooo flavor.
