Smoothie King is a perfect way to end a 5K! Thank you Smoothie King Desoto and Grand Prairie 161 for supporting Knetic RX 5K event in Cedar Hill. The employees were so friendly and welcoming. They had so many goodies for us to pick from. I had their mango flavored smoothie which was pretty good. They also had samples of their avocado toast. It was SO GOOD! We were so excited to try this new business. They just opened early 2022 and this was our first time visiting. We got two smoothies; a mango smoothie and and strawberry smoothie. Both were tasty! The drive through lines moves a little slower than a regular fast food restaurant but I believe this is due the the nature of blending custom smoothies. I have no complaints. Horrible customer service. After receiving an email confirmation for my order, I drove through the drive-thru for pickup. The staff rudely told me they had no record of my order and made me wait despite showing them the email. I waited inside for 20 minutes, then spoke with the manager, who informed me that they still didn't have my order. After another 30 minutes, they finally started making my 2 SMOOTHIES! They never even apologized for wasting my time. I will never go back. This is not the first time this has happened. read more

I arrived at this SK location at approximately 6:45 pm en route to dropping my daughter off at practice to order her pre-practice meal/snack. Her practice facility is 0.2 miles away. I order and pull up to the window prepared to pay by 6:50 pm. The clerk scans my app and seems to be having an issue with the system. The manager on duty then comes to the register and attempts to complete the transaction. By now it's approaching 6:55 pm and I wave to get their attention and let them know that I stopped by to grab a snack for my daughter and for myself before her practice and ask if they can just comp the purchase since their system is not working and I have been waiting for 10 minutes and now on the verge of having my daughter late for practice and without a smoothie. I ordered her a kids smoothie and a smoothie bowl for myself. After the mod refused I asked if he would just comp the kids smoothie and keep the bowl and I would just come back and pay for both after I drop her off literally across the street at her practice facility. Especially, since the reason behind it was the fact that your system wasn't working. To make a long story short, I had to leave without either item as I didn't have time to sit and explain to the mod why it would make common and good business sense just to at least comp the kids smoothie. Especially given that I have been a Champion member the last 2 years. I patronize SK all the time and was beyond frustrated and disappointed by this experience even more so given this is a corporate location. It didn't even bother me as much when I was placing my order and the young lady on the drive thru mic was answering me with "What?!" on multiple occasions when she couldn't hear or understand me instead of asking me to repeat what I said or saying excuse me. P.S. Attention Business Manager. Please spare me the canned response about your disappointment in my experience and how you will use it in future training opportunities. I decided to go to smoothie king instead of getting ice cream tonight. I pulled in the drive through to order my usual. After realizing it's Friday, I get to the window to ask her to make it a 32oz instead of 20oz. She is right next to the window as I honk but does not come to the window. When she finally comes over, I tell her I was honking to change the size. She tells me "sorry it's already made". I say yes but I want a 32oz. She closes the window and tells the manager. He comes over and ask me what did I want. I explain again that I tried to tell in advance I want a 32oz but she did not come to the window. He tells me I should have said that when I ordered. Very rude. There was absolutely NO cars behind me. I even sat in the SK parking lot to write this review and there were STILL no cars. Every time I go through the drive through it's a rude person literally just came from the dentist and I told her that instead of saying can you pull to the window the young lady huffs and puffs and tells me to come in. Now if I said I just left the dentist what makes you think I want to come inside and have to get out my car. You all need customer service training one on one this not the only incident I've had with you all and your rudeness but it'll be my last. read more

Açai bowls were very good when they first came out. But now they are just making you pay $13 for a hard rock frozen bowl with fruit on top. You literally have to wait for it to thaw out. I requested for it to be made fresh, the manager refused stating they do not make them fresh which i knew was a lie because I have been to other locations where they are made fresh. read more

This place is popping. Everyone is very nice and they seem to like their job. The product knowledge is everything for me. My name is Scarlett and I recommend this place for a healthy meal.
