Horrible experience. I wish I could email the owner personally. On the afternoon of September 7, 2020, I ordered the new watermelon hydration, which was made incorrectly both the size and order. I returned it back to them respectfully and they made a new one. The second time It tasted like strawberries. I retuned to the store irritated and politely asked is it supposed to be made with strawberries. I asked because there was no sign indicating it was or it's added ingredients plus I have a family member I was going to share it with that has a severe allergy to strawberries!! I was told the sign was moved by another employee but was not given a reason why AND I was also told that I should "just ask" next time. Why should I have to ask when for one the sign was moved for no reason, and for two there was absolutely no indication of any added ingredients in the watermelon smoothie? I waited outside for it to be remade the second time and the employee that came outside and gave it to me had attitude and rolled her eyes. Horrible customer service with no apology. My family could've gotten sick because of their incompetence. My roommates have also complained about this place. These African-Americans feel as though "we owe them something just for walking in". Last week let my year old and year old go inside to order smoothies and of course they made one wrong and gave the other child the wrong size and when I walk in to tell you to remake one over, this dude says "we usually charge half-price to remake our smoothies" I'm looking at him like he's a fool - what you can do is give me back my money. If, that wasn't enough "this dumb dude" had my 11 year old son pay for a medium smoothie which my son ordered but "dumb dude" sold him a regular size. This review is mainly for customer experience as it relates to this particular Smoothie King locale. The order area is immediately near the entrance. Whomever is working behind the counter doesn't waste time with pleasantries. It's usually a female employee that doesn't even ask, but instead waits for you to belt out an order. If you're like me, I'm usually standing there waiting for the cue to speak up. Nine times out of ten that I've frequented this location I'm looked at with an attitude and impatience. My husband didn't realize I was writing this review and in just randomly stated that this was his second time at this location and he doesn't like the customer service. Most times they have been out of the pastry breads and don't bother checking their back stock for what they're out of to appease customers. The amount of time it takes three people to make a few smoothies is slow. They end up with a line out of the door due to lackadaisical preparation. The end result is that I feel like they are doing me a favor by spending my money in their establishment. No one on duty ever looks like a shift leader, manager or supervisor or happy to be there working. Thankfully, I'm always pleased with the quality and consistency of my smoothie. read more
