I continued waiting while other orders were prepared and handed out, including some that appeared to have been placed after I arrived. After about 12 minutes, I approached the cashier and mentioned that I had received a text saying my order was ready. Someone checked, and it was found already sitting in a cooler. What stood out was not the wait itself but the absence of basic customer service throughout. No greeting when I walked in, no one checking on me while I waited, no apology once the situation was sorted, and no thank you when I received my order. I reached out about this experience on June 8th and have yet to hear anything back, not even a simple apology. That silence is just as disappointing as the visit itself. I share this hoping it can serve as a coaching opportunity. Greetings, attentiveness, and simple acknowledgments go a long way, and small interactions can make a significant difference in how a guest feels walking out the door.
