I don't think the staff is very friendly here. Upon walking in, I looked up and noticed an "ORDER HERE sign. So I waited around there, turns out they want you to go deeper into the establishment to place an order. They use the order here area to place completed drinks. Confusing and should probably be changed. Girl at counter wasn't friendly at all. No "hello" or "thank you". One of the girls had a look on her face as if my fly was down or something. My son and I have had 2 horrible experiences at this location and will not be entertaining a third. We first visited this location a few months ago where we waited 20 minutes for 1 kid smoothie.. there were 3 workers on staff and I have a lot of understanding that I'm sure they were working on a few online orders, but there was no communication about them being backed up and no cars in the drive through. While waiting, my 4y/o son had to use the bathroom. They denied us saying they didn't have a public bathroom and we needed to go next door to Jersey Mikes (who weren't open bc this was before 10am). My son nearly wet himself bc we waited for his smoothie and had to walk across the street to Starbucks just to use the restroom. Fast forward to yesterday; we ordered a kid smoothie for my son and when he got close to the bottom, he pulled off the lid to find this.. Smoothies are great BUT I say at the drive thru window for almost 15 minutes and could hear all of the staff yelling very unprofessionally. To the point it made me very uncomfortable. Service was awful! We were going through the drive through and the window tenant threw my card at me because I was conversing with my passengers and he got impatient instead of trying to get my attention. This is a fireable offense! To top it off I called the location and they proceeded to use profound language on the phone and hung up on me multiple times. Smoothies were average at best...very watery and even was a little afraid they spit in our cup because of the frustration. read more

I ordered a large hulk coffee on the app. When we got to the store It took a bit to get to the window because there was one car in front of us that the person at the window was having what seem to be a conversation with. No big deal... when we got to the window The employee proceeds to handle us the smoothie and says you ordered the strawberry Hulk - and we said no it was the coffee hulk and then she said oh did y'all have the online mobile order -yes and then she hands us the same cup that was originally in her hand ... This store is about 40 minutes from our house it's a Magnolia we live in deep Waller - never mind that the smoothie cost $11 originally that's not the problem - the problem is The overall attitude and the fact that the worker knew what she was handing us and that they had made a mistake and gave it to us anyway as we drove off - The concoction is a mixture of what definitely is strawberry with the attempt of adding coffee to it to make it taste right - my daughter is unable to have berries in general and when calling the store the worker who said her name was Kathleen - Was quite rude - The only way apparently they can make it right as I come back to the store within 24 hours to have the smoothie replaced - which they would be closed by the time we got there so I would have to go the next day again completely out of my way. I asked if I could have the $11 refunded and she said she would have to talk to her manager when I asked her managers name she said I can't have her number, I clearly did not ask for her number I just wanted the name - never again - there's nothing wrong with hiring young workers but they should be held accountable for their ability to serve the public. My friend and I went after the gym, close to Smoothie King's closing time, so tried to be quick. We tell them our smoothies and they make mine with strawberry instead of chocolate, when I asked for chocolate. They did not want to make me a new one, asking if they could just take my smoothie back and add chocolate in that one. I found that weird as to COVID regulations, you would think they aren't allowed to bring back a smoothie when I had already taken a sip. I asked if they could just make a new one and I'll throw this one away. They said nothing then said go to the window. They threw my incorrect smoothie away then my friend apologized at the window and she said "it's ok YOU didn't ask," referring to me as she handed us the correct smoothie. What a major mistake by Smoothie King. I WILL NEVER visit Smoothie King again until they go back to styrofoam cups. They recently switched to clear plastic cups. What a disaster. They sell a frozen product!! It melts immediately. I tried them twice and same issue. I used to be able to buy smoothies for the family and take them home and still be frozen. I am frequent customer here. I get a high protein smoothie with a bunch of stuff added in for maximum nutrients post workout. Recently my smoothies have not been blended well. I have been getting clumps of peanut butter that don't let me enjoy my smoothie and sometimes it doesn't taste like it should. What drove me to write this bad review is that today I arrived at this smoothie king at 8:50, 10 minutes before closing time. I tried opening the doors and they were locked. The employees were sitting behind the counter and looked at me for a brief second not telling me anything, if they were closed or not. The sign that said "Open" was on and the closing time for that day was on the door and it said 9pm. This is employee laziness at its finest. It left me upset and disappointed. read more

I don't usually make reviews but for the lack of costumer service at this smoothie king ,It made me want to. I really just want to leave a review for the girl who paid me out at the drive thru window. I'm not sure how busy it was inside ,but when I got there I was the only person in the drive thru line. I don't mind waiting (and understand it gets busy) but I do appreciate good manners when I get to the window after waiting 10 min for one drink. (It took a good 5 min for someone to take my order and another few minutes for someone to pay me out at the window) after waiting ,the girl came to the window and paid me out without any apology for the wait... seemed like she didn't really care..after I get paid out ,I still waited for my drink for another minute. When she finally handed me my drink all she said was "here ya go" and shut the window and walked to the back room. (there were 3 other cars behind me at that point who also needed to be paid out) To sum up my experience i would have appreciated better manners and better time management. read more
