I wanted a boudin kolache but they wouldn't include it in the deal. Consequently, I settled on the jalapeño cheese which tasted OK. Wasn't spicy until the last couple of bites which contained the jalapeños. The donuts were delicious even though they weren't warm. Customer service was otherwise pretty nice in the drive thru.

I am happy that the chain decided to add this location to my neighborhood however, getting to this location is very difficult. Once you get to the parking lot, you even have to drive all the way around the strip of businesses to get to the drive-through. Today I decided to stop for my favorite apple fritter and the front doors were closed saying you could only use the drive-through and that they were gonna close today at two. This may be due to staffing. I'm not sure but it certainly made getting a doughnut much more complicated. I was also sad that my apple fritter was cold and needed to be reheated once I got home. Entering the cafe past housed large tortoises that you can feed if ask waitstaff and will supply you with lettuce and tomatoes. The gigantic pancakes big enough to share and egg dishes were absolutely worth the drive. No need to dress up since this country cafe was casual and has a dirt path to enter. When I got there, I saw five women in line holding tickets that had been given to them by the store manager. I was informed that only 10 cups were available and that each person with a ticket would be allowed to purchase two cups. I confirmed with the staff /manager that the tickets had been distributed specifically to ensure those individuals received the cups since we're in line for long time , even though I had been waiting for the same item as well and the store not even open.I was essentially told that there would be no cups left and that I should try another location. This was extremely disappointing and unfair. If there were only 10 cups available, a fair approach would have been to limit purchases to one cup per customer so that more people would have had an opportunity to buy one. The customer service at this location and leadership at Starbucks were very poor. The decision felt selfish and showed little consideration for other customers. Because of this experience, I will no longer be a customer at Starbucks.
