A perfect ambiance enhancer: Perhaps I'll contribute Edith Piaf's CD including "La vie en rose," to Madame. At any rate, Wife liked the dish with one small exception: the Balsamic Glaze liberally drizzled across the top. I was surprised to find this addition to the dish, but the ingredient is not that unusual for a French Breakfast condiment, given the following "rules:" Use sparingly: A teaspoon or two is enough to brighten flavors without overpowering. Choose quality: Aged balsamic has a sweeter, syrupy texture ideal for fruit; standard balsamic works well for savory dishes. Pairings: Works beautifully with basil, black pepper, honey, ricotta, yogurt, tomatoes, and stone fruits The balsamic did not prevent her from inhailing the dish, nor did it discourage our dog from licking the dish.

Why are they eating at the front of the house? Our meat patty was flavorless and when waitress went back to tell the chef he got angry and she said they don't season it because people have allergies. What? Had to flag them down to get refill on coffee and water but only our waitress could bring us refills.

We have been wanting to try Eden Table and finally did. We visited on a Friday night about 6:30 PM…read more We were greeted with smiles and sat promptly. The restaurant offers a comfortable yet semi elegant environment and feel. No need to dress up, but I wouldn't wear your worst. The menu offers kids meals but this is a date night place. Alma was our waitress and provided excellent service! We started with an old school gin martini. Gin, splash of vermouth, an olive and a twist of lemon. The first one was terrible. The bartender added lemon juice to it when we wanted lemon twist. That said, they made it right and it turned out delicious! We ordered the calamari to go along with our drink, but got the calamari early, so we had to eat it while it was hot. Needless to say, it took a while for our drink to come out and then be remade. The calamari was good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my other half ordered the petit filet. Presentation on the plate was great! The chicken fried steak was good, but very thin. The mashed potatoes and green beans were great. The wedge salad my other half got with his steak was wonderful. The blue cheese was very mild and excellent (and I'm not a blue cheese fan)! The petit filet was cooked perfectly but the risotto was clumpy and mushy. I hate to say this, but the steak was good, but not $50 good. My other half said it was kind of bland. Overall, this is a good little place. We do plan to go back and try other menu items like the seafood tacos or the almond crusted red snapper. We also want to enjoy the live pianist on Thursday nights. Give it a go!
