Absolutely delicious and such generous portions!! Love the coffee mugs here because design of this vessel keeps coffee hot for long periods! Pancakes and perfectly cooked eggs to order are amazing, we order our syrup warm and attention to detail is usual here with the staff!! If we order eggs fluffy, they are perfectly fluffy and never served cold, like other places. If we ask for crispy hash browns, they arrive just that way!! Pricey for breakfast but monster portions and prepare to eat every bite! Delicious every time- so we always come back.

Great food and reliably great service. Low turnover of staff is good, it's nice to see familiar and friendly faces. Management will often check on service and the staff tells me is wonderful to work with and not afraid to roll up his sleeves to not only help his team but to make things right even mopping up spills if necessary. I recommend you try this place, I find it to be my choice location out of three I've visited.

the good things about this place are the atmosphere and marketing. There's a lot to order here. I like that you can come for breakfast or lunch. However both times i've been have been just okay. I loved the pictures I took here, but the meal is never something to talk about. the portions i've received have been too much to where I usually save half and it makes for a full meal later. Today I had the buttermilk pancakes and my top pancake was undercooked :( I didn't like that my coffee was served in such a tall glass because half of it was ice and by the end of my meal it was half water. Our waiter didn't check on us at all during the meal, so getting another item for the pancake (and my dad's undercooked egg) wasn't an option. However, they did package fruit in a togo container for me, free of charge. :) Good things about toasted yolk: i loved that they had a water fountain and bowls dogs. outdoor seating, very helpful. they comped our entire meal when I explained my disappointment. good variety for everyone

The Toasted Yolk is my go-to brunch spot to meet up with friends and family. I constantly crave the blueberry donuts (see picture). I also love and highly recommend their caramel macchiato, omelettes (I add a side order of queso to mine!), and the Ruben sandwich!!! The magnolia location has great ambiance, is nice and clean, and we've consistently had great service perfect for the occasion. Thank you @toastedyolkmagnolia

Food was really good. We didn't try anything from the bar but we will next time. They had some great drink specials certain days too. The sourdough is phenomenal!

This isn't my first time at The Toasted Yolk Cafe, and as always, everything was amazing. The service was excellent, and the food absolutely delicious. It's consistently a great experience -- highly recommended!!!!

I really enjoy eating at the Toasted Yolk, but opted for delivery today. When I eat in the restaurant, I also enjoy the hot tea and the Two Eggs and a Cake. My delivery (via DoorDash) was just as good and tasty as it is in the restaurant! I ordered the Two Eggs and A Cake with soft scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and grits. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Few restaurants get this right! The chicken sausage is delicious (don't knock it till you try it!). The pancake is amazing. It came with whipped butter and syrup. The whipped butter is super creamy on top. I also ordered a Side Hash Grilled and Gourmet Coffee. The hash is yummy! The flavor is just right. The Gourmet Coffee is just that...gourmet. It's smooth and rich. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive any cream or sugar, but it's possible I missed the selection when ordering. I also ordered the Strawberry Field Salad with blackberry vinaigrette. The grilled chicken that comes on top is like a thin sliced deli meat. That said, the Strawberry Field Salad is delicious and the blackberry vinaigrette is perfectly balanced and delicious on this salad. All in all, great job to the Toasted Yolk! I will be ordering again!

Great food and service as always! We love the cheesy hash browns and the garlicky gringo condiment there.

Stopped in for their soup and sandwich deal. Their sandwiches and soups at Toasted Yolk are so good. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my meal.

So hear me out! The only pork bacon I eat is the million dollar bacon from First Watch or at Snooze. But LISTEN TO ME! THIS BACON HAS BOTH BEAT HANDS DOWN. I like sweet food and this bacon is it with a shot of heat!‍‍‍‍‍ The service was great as usual and ambiance was clean as usual. I don't care what location I go to, they NEVER scramble the eggs the way I want them. I asked for them to be scrambled softly...but here we are. I still ate everything nevertheless. No complaints here. This place is a staple and should NEVER go ANYWHERE EVER!

This is a new location in Magnolia. We went on a Sunday morning a little after 7am. Great time to come since they had just opened. There was no wait. We were seated in a booth which was very comfortable. Meghan was our server. She greeted us and took our drink orders. Once we ordered our food, it came out quickly. A couple of other people came in before we left so still not very crowded or busy early Sunday morning but I'm sure it gets busier later in the day. Tip: If you don't want to wait, join the waitlist before you head their way. I was craving sweet & savory so I opted for the Two Eggs & a Cake breakfast. You can choose your eggs any style, choice of meat, choice of grits or hash brown casserole, and choice of pancake or French toast. I opted for eggs over medium, crispy bacon, grits & pancake. It was all delicious! The pancake was so huge, it came in a plate by itself. My eggs were cooked perfectly. Love the runny yolk. And I can add my own salt & pepper to my liking. The grits were amazing. Nice consistency and flavor. I added just a dab of butter to mine. The bacon (three huge strips of it) was nice and crispy just like I like it. Everything tasted great. Their coffee was really good as well. Hot & fresh in a cute ceramic mug. They brought out a little bowl of flavored non-dairy creamers and half & half for the coffee. Note: They do not have any non dairy milk options like almond, oat or soy milk for their cafe au lait or lattes. Overall this is a great breakfast place. Perfect for early birds since they open at 7am. They even have a patio area that is pet friendly. My only complaint (more of a request ) is that they start offering a non dairy option for their lattes and cafe au lait.

This was our first time there today there was about a 15 minute wait before we were able to get a table but they're prior of Yelp so next time I can make it online before getting there. Our waitress was Desiree she was outstanding she was friendly. She's made sure we what we needed, she very sweet young lady. The food came out in a timely manner. It tasted excellent nice size portions. My only negative it was a little expensive for brunch $38 for two people with no drinks. The restaurant was. larger than we expected. It was really attractive and very appealing to the eyes. We will go back occasionally because it's a little high

This is how they serve appetizing hash browns. This is what they gave me after I sent back the original. I never send anything back.

I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Over time, we have repeatedly noticed that the quality of the food served for takeout is significantly inferior to what is served in the restaurant. It often feels as though takeout customers are receiving food that would never be served to diners sitting at a table. Today's experience was the final straw. The tortillas that came with our meal were hard and stale. My Tampiqueña was not a Tampiqueña at all--it was an old, tough piece of steak full of gristle and connective tissue. The quality was frankly unacceptable, especially considering the prices charged. What was even more disappointing was the response from management. When I called to explain the issue, I expected at least an apology or some willingness to listen. Instead, the manager immediately insisted that I was wrong and repeatedly told me that I needed to drive back to the restaurant and show them the food. There was no apology, no concern for the customer experience, and no attempt to make things right. The underlying message seemed to be that they simply did not believe me. What kind of establishment treats long-time customers this way? After years of supporting this restaurant, I found it shocking that a legitimate complaint was met with denial rather than professionalism. Good restaurants make mistakes from time to time. Great restaurants own those mistakes and take care of their customers. Unfortunately, Cafe Di Fiore chose neither. Unless there is a significant improvement in both food quality and customer service, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
