My experience here was great. It was fast service, easy to operate their menu and the customer service was delightful. My smoothie flavors were yummy, but it was very creamy like a milk shake (its didn't stay frozen long) which was the down fall for me. Amazing Service from Kiley and I belive Robbie!!! As someone who is 100% plant-based, I ordered a vegan pumpkin smoothie at this Smoothie King location. Unfortunately, my experience initially started off poorly when the cashier seemed dismissive when I mentioned I had reward points saved on the app. When I received my order, I immediately noticed a dairy taste, which I can't consume. After pointing out the issue, the cashier insisted that I had ordered incorrectly, showing a lack of customer service. However, Kiley stepped in to save the day! She was amazing--attentive, kind, and focused on ensuring I was happy without any complaints. I believe Robbie also came by to reassure me that everything would be taken care of. Came here for the $5 "5riday" any 32 oz. smoothie deal (fyi...meal replacement smoothies are $6). This is a perfect opportunity to come and indulge in the numerous smoothie options available. I chose the strawberry banana smoothie and it was delish! The people were pleasant and patient as I perused the smoothie options, which can be quite overwhelming. The large 32 oz. serving is definitely enough for two so ask for a cup to share if it's too much for you. I've only got a picture of the Berry Goji Getaway smoothie bowl but I tried it and the Bee Berry Sting with strawberries subbed for mango the next day, and they're both good and a large size but I thought the pitaya base was the best. The dried goji berries are nice little pops of sweet-tart, and the coconut shards under the fruit had strong flavor. The large size helps account for the $11.99 price but it's a bit too much for me to eat at once, so I'm glad I was home soon enough to put it in the fridge for later in the day. My wait wasn't too long and the man who took my order and made my bowl was friendly and efficient. read more

I walked in with my buddy on a cold Friday night. Coming off a killer leg day, I was hoping to quench my thirst with a nice chocolate hulk. Gippeto and I had a coupon for buy one get one free smoothie. The rookie at the register was shocked with Gipetto's order; Berry Punch with Vanilla gladiator. They finally figure it out and ask for a name for an order. Gipetto tells them their name and they proceed to mock and laugh at him. Gipetto hesitates and laughs with them trying to play it off. I don't get what's so funny about Gipetto. They didn't believe it was his name and the quote on quote 5 star worker says he thought he said pedo. Overall, bad experience with Gipetto and they got our smoothies wrong. Won't be back. Neither will Gipetto. Gipetto is taking it hard but hopefully he can get over this. read more

1st Visit of Many Today was my 1st time visiting this SK location and it was pretty great. I was greeted as soon as I crossed the threshold of the doorway. I went in to get an old faithful smoothie (Berry Carrot Dream). After additional menu review and talking w Robbie (employee), I decided to try the "Caribbean Way". It was very good and I tried it w/o the turbinado which was fine because it's naturally sweet. Robbie and Kiley were very kind, personable and customer service oriented. Angel Food Cake smoothie is my jam. No it doesn't taste a thing like angel food cake and I don't know why it's called that, but I love a good strawberry and banana smoothie. Stopped in here on a Friday when I was visiting Uptown Cheapskate next door. They were advertising $5 Friday so I snagged a 32 oz for only five bucks. The guys were nice, even though they seemed a little overwhelmed. There were 3 other customers waiting for orders, and one of them had ordered 4 different smoothies. I came to this fine establishment after a nice meal at chipotle and had experience i'd love to forget. I arrive at around 7:00 with my buddy Gregory and have a two for one coupon that I got last time. I order my berry punch (which is not a complicated order) and the woman at the front looks at me like I have three heads. She questions me on my order many times and has to get her manager. They still somehow mess up the order after 10 minutes and then the worst part of this epic tale is the next one. The cashier asks for my name and i politely respond with "gippetto" which is my birth name after my late great grandfather. Unfortunately, they thought this was somehow absolutely hilarious and burst out laughing at the sound of my name. I tried to laugh with them but i've always been picked on for the name. I never thought this would happen at an establishment like this, especially for a smoothie enthusiast like me. Then they asks me ridiculous questions like "am i italian". I reluctantly take my two wrong smoothies with my good ole pal greg and we hit the road. A refreshing smoothie after a long day was indeed a treat! I had a 20 oz. Mango-Kale smoothie. After checking out I noticed the "$5 Friday" poster on the window to the far right of the store. The promotion is valid for 32 oz. smoothies, and I had already ordered a 20 oz. The worker taking our order did not sell the promotion or else I very likely would have ordered that because the 20 oz was already over $5. Otherwise I enjoyed the smoothie. read more

Staff seem friendly , a bit off task though. Cashier is very mono tone and didn't smile once. Overall ok experience so far. Haven't gotten the smoothie yet :) Second visit was just as bad as the first. The ladies inside were gossiping and bad talking about other employees. I'm a huge Smoothie King fan. I buy close to three a week at the various locations in Baltimore County. While Smoothie King always offers a great blend of traditional and new/seasonal products and a great smartphone app with loyalty program, the service is always a wild card. This location is always staffed with what seems to be very young adults learning what might be their first jobs. When I boss it this location I'm constantly exposed to the following: -Distracted teenagers talking to each other about nonsense while customers wait - Transactions without a "Thank You" and/or "Have a nice day" - no enthusiasm or energy in general from staff They gotta fix this. I mean, you're selling $10 smoothies. Let that melt for a sec. common courtesy and gratefulness for supporting the shop should be present at all times. Have I had it here? So this was my first time in a smoothie king...but I must say I will be back again! I had the Nutty Super Grain Smoothie...if you love peanut butter as much as I do this one is for you! I finally decided on this particular flavor b/c Christian of SK took such care and time explaining the difference between each smoothie I asked about mentioning all of my allergies and dislikes. He definitely didn't seem to mind helping me decide on the perfect combo for my first visit. The store was very bright and inviting...I did notice a lack of music idk it was very quiet in there besides our voices. No biggie tho. The price for a small smoothie pretty decent 5 and change. We arrived at smoothie king at 8:20 on a Monday night, the workers were unprofessional, rude, and rushed us out the door. We got 2 simple smoothies. We were talking for less then a minute when the woman working, ALSO ON FACETIME WITH HER FRIEND, told us they are "closing up" at... 8:30... then we left and the man working proceeded to lock the door as soon as we left. Absolutely DISGUSTED by this smoothie king. Following that we saw a few other costumers that tried to go in but it was still locked meanwhile it was still 8:30... when the door I'm looking at currently as I'm writing this says they don't close till 9. Just terrible terrible terrible. Smooth is fine. I get the same thing all the time but let me tell you the workers smh. There was a young kid and he sweet he was the ONLY one doing his job the right way! The woman on the other hand was on face time no head phones and drinking the left over smoothies. All while customers are in the store... my order took longer than it should because her call was more important than helping him. I am huge on customer service! I am consistently disappointed by this store. The staff is rude on the best day and a lot of times improperly dressed for food service (long hair not pulled back etc.) the smoothies are rarely consistent. Part of a nice plaza in Timonium only about 5-10 minutes outside of Towson. Can be less stressful than the Towson Smoothie King and is slightly Larger than the Towson Smoothie King. Has a nice laid back atmosphere. There are less big rushes of people that the Towson one can have. Parking lot can still be crowded like the Towson one though. Has friendly young employees for the most part and a lot of ladies work at this location. It brings in a nice crowd of people most of the times like the Towson one. Often times they run a lot of coupon deals to try to get you to come which is nice. For example buy one get one free, 1.99$ small or 2$ off. This place fits well in the plaza it is in like the one in Towson. Sometimes I choose this location just to avoid Towson traffic jams and to mix things up. This Timonium plaza has a lot of popular chain food places to eat like Chipotle, Starbucks and Subway. Its a nice place to go when in the mood for something re-freshening or want to reward yourself to a tasty treat. The smoothies are not bad. I normally go to the Towson location but tried this one because I was in the area. Got my usual and made the mistake of not taking a sip till I was on my way back home. Absolutely disgusting, I have no idea what they did wrong but they definitely didn't make what I ordered, and I can't imagine they made anything on the menu. Location isnt the best. parking because of near a Starbucks is difficult. i usually park further down to stay away from everyone coming in and out of Starbucks. Other than that no major issues. I hadnt been to a Smoothie King in 7 plus years and i am glad i came back. Years ago they wouldnt let you alter ingredients now you can. Example no Turbinado which is added sugar. You can sub stevia but i would rather not use any added sweeteners. Now have been back several time. Gosh these are addicting. I would recommend adding in a vanilla protein powder. My wife had one smoothie which they spilled some of it so they added extra ice in the blender to make up for it. That was a mistake because it tasted bland and watered down. They apologized and made a new one right away. They kind of figured we would be walking back in. Not sure why they didnt just make a new one when it got spilled in the first place.
