I bought a bottle of a needed liquid. It was not properly wrapped and when I took it off the porch I noticed half the box was wet. When opened it I found the bottle was broken and had leaked its contents because all they wrapped it with was bubble wrap and put a not too eye-catching FRAGILE sign on the outside of the box. I have called and also emailed them 5 ays ago, but they have not answered my email or phone call, or called me back. I am due a refund for a $29+ bottle of nothing. I don't know what their in store service is like. It may be good. However, I would not recommend this company for any item that needs to be shipped. read more

I agree with everyone posting low rating. They are dishonest and rude. You have to constantly go out of your way to be kind. Stuff all over the floor. No one asking to help. I asked about an expiration date. I could not see and they lied. I should've had my Eyewear on. I purchased 2024 and expiration was 2023. Shame on me. I paid over 90 dollars for the jug. Noticed after I opened. The associate knows there were 2 dates. People really go here for convenience. Look people. Go to Lexington Market. There is an honest vendor there with products with accurate dates. Not dates stamped on after expiration. So dishonest. My loss. They make up prices. Such a shame and people have patronized them here in this town to keep them in business. Try Joppa rd and Lasalle also has a store that may have some products. Its best to do your own research and come in and know exactly what you want. I've been a customer for at least 5 years. Prices are a little cheaper and the quality is standard. I have waited 1 1/2-months before my 2nd review on natureandherbs I have not heard back from ebay on my complaint. I wonder how many people purchased Genuine Yunnan Baiyao and got the Generic. The boxes look alike except the boxes are different print and colors. On Mar 27, 2017 I was searching online Genuine Yunnan Baiyao Capsules from China This item came up on ebay with free shipping. 5 Box Item price was $48.99 Item # 231924338716. The Item Sent Was Not What I Orderd... Sent was a 5Box priced at $32.99 another ebay ad... It's a Generic UPC: 6901070230028 to Genuine Yunnan Baiyao Generic is $32.99 and the GYB is $48.99 a difference of $16.00. I called natureandherbs after reporting to ebay and talked with the owner. He sent a "Return Label" online (right away) from natureandherbs, I wanted a replacement for the Genuine not a refund and was told it was not in stock!!! The owner did not want me to write a report to ebay, but did anyway. Ebay contacted me by phone and was told by a ebay representative they could not sell an item that was not in stock. Can't remember how many were in stock but checked ebay & ad was still on. I bought Genuine Yunnan Baiyao on amazon from natureandherbs and delivered next day shipping, it can no longer be bought on amazon, now it's on ebay from natureandherbs with 3 day ship if it's in stock... Not worth a star but will change my review if my order of $60 for lotion is resolved. I like to give people the opportunity to make things right so here is the opportunity, I guess we'll see? I ordered 4 bottles of 7 Wonders and " Tim" write me an apology because product was out of stock. He said he would send me 6 bottles of tester lotion, unopened I assume. I opened the bottles, only received 4, and 3 bottles were filled with something yellow & watery. Not my lotion I've literally used for years. The last bottle was close but still had the yellow lotion around the rim and smelled different. I want a full refund. I have a buddy that lives close to this store and they may stop to also plead my case and make sure the owner receives my request. I'm hoping this won't have to get drawn out but fine with me. I have lots of connections and lots of time to make a ruckus if it's necessary. I'm hoping the owner does the right thing and just refunds my $60. If not, I'm all in. I know, what's $60, no big deal, but it's the principle. If the owner is a friend, can you ask him about this situation? Maybe it was an employee or a big misunderstanding? Accidents happen. Small but, crowded store. I like to go here because everyone is friendly. This is my go to spot for my Smooth Move tea. I don't go often but, when I do I am always greeted with a very pleasant attitude. Give it a try next time you are in the area and looking for natural items. read more

The store has a really good variety of natural, herbal, ayurvedic, homeopathic and traditional Chinese teapills. They even have capsules if you are making your own formulas from dried herbs. They are always busy restocking shelves and unpacking items. I go here several times in a year. Caution that prices are often not marked and may be variable which is unfortunate. read more

I found this business on Amazon and they sold me some defective Kormantee. I reached out to the company via email. There response was for me to contact the vendor excuse you. I brought it from you not the vendor shouldn't you call. I'm the customer. Not professional at all. After 4 emails. I had to complain to Amazon they finally agreed with me and refunded my money back. I am so sorry to give this place one star. It's just the kind of place I like: small local business with a large selection of natural products at a good price. The one glaring problem at Nature and Herbs is the owner! I am new to Baltimore City and needed a supplement that no health food store in the city had. (Two Whole Foods and OK Foods) Someone at OK Foods suggested this place, and after calling the store to confirm they had the supplement I took the drive out to Towson. When I walked in I was delighted with the large selection of products, but the 20 minutes I was there, looking around before purchasing my supplements, the owner was on the phone yelling. Out of control. Spoke to employees in the same berating manner. Fast forward to today: I've finally run out of the supplement and called over to make sure they had it before driving there. The employee who answered the phone had a very thick Indian accent and we both had trouble understanding each other. He asked me to call back while he looked, which I did. When I called back, he told me they didn't have it, and I was puzzled b/c it is a very obscure herb and they were fully stocked when I was there. I was asking him if he was really sure, when I heard the owner, first in the background screaming at him, then on the phone at me. 15 seconds later he hung up on me. OK, I was a pain for being a little insistent. I really need this supplement. My bad. But hanging up? Just to rewind to when I was first there: he screamed out (to no one in particular), "support your local business"! His behavior was so bizarre that I instagrammed the front of his shop and captioned it with the non-sequitur (instagram.com/red_clover103 - foto from 19 weeks ago). I am all about shop local, and have been doing so for over 35 years! Guess what? I ordered the supplement online, which I only do when no other option is available. (Yes, I pay more for things b/c I believe in people: small local businesses, jobs and the human touch!) Why do you often find the most miserable human beings in the business of natural foods and medicine? Very strange... I'm done with Nature & Herb. Stay away from this place !! This morning, I bought a small-sized (6oz) container of black soap from them, and was made to pay $9.50 by a chinese guy behind the counter (he claimed he only worked there 2 days a week, and so had no responsibility for the owner not marking prices). If only I had known better...it retails for $4-5 everywhere else. It is not the $$ that counts, but the feeling of being cheated and ripped off at random is very disgusting. These guys need to learn to respect customers and not take them for fools. Lost a potential customer - and several others who will read this review - just to cheat for $5. Great job, I'd say! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. It is run by a bunch of crooks, who have no work ethics and think that they are being oversmart by duping customers.
