Updating my previous review bc I just had a really bad experience here. I ordered my usual - the Green Cheesecake Smoothie. Had my daughter so had to run right outside to my car for her milk and came back to wait. Saw the owner giving the pineapple on a stick to the two girls in front of me with their smoothies. Two people walked up and were standing in line and she gave them two while they looked. When my smoothie came up, no pineapple. I asked the male behind the counter and he was extremely rude to me and said they're $1.78 each and I said "Oh, I thought you gave them with the smoothies" pointing to the two people IN LINE who had not ordered yet. He was really rude and almost aggressive about it and said "NO - $1.78". I've never had this experience here. I've ordered dozens of smoothies here and this is a first. They're $12 a smoothie so - probably going to skip it since I felt singled out and when I innocently asked about it I got my head bit off. No thanks. read more

Stopped by here while I was at the mall, it was around 4 pm on a Friday and there were only a few customers in line. It's kind of off by itself in the mall, I almost didn't even see the place, but it's a quiet little area and the staff are friendly. They have a lot of options so it was actually a little hard for me to choose just one thing. I decided to try the Oreo smoothie (10/10) it was really delicious and yummy. There also wasn't too long of a wait time either for my drink which was nice. They also give customers pineapple on a stick with your order; however, I can't eat pineapple so I couldn't have mine :( Def going to return because there were so many other drinks that sounded delicious that I want to try. We ordered the taro honey smoothie and the coffee smoothie, and both were 10/10. Creamy, flavorful, not overly sweet--just really well balanced. They threw in a free pineapple pop with our drinks, and the presentation? So cute. Napkins with flowers, little waffle crisps, Pocky sticks... it's the kind of extra that makes you smile. I really hope that they stay open despite the condition of the mall they're in. MacArthur Mall has definitely seen its better days. Smoothie Mania is quite the popular corner at MacArthur Mall. It's located on the second floor right between Dillard's and For All Handkind (check that place out too! lol but back to the business) on the way to the parking garage entrance. The people I've met there are kind, helpful, and generous. Emphasis on the generous! Right off the bat you get a pineapple slice on a stick while you wait for your smoothie. When your order is ready, it always comes with a free sample and a Lindt chocolate. It depends on the day on what kind of sample you get. If you're a little indecisive, they'll have samples for you to try out. If there's some excess from the previous smoothie, they'll put it in a sample cup so that the ingredients aren't wasted. I've received a chicken salad-amazing btw. The dressing is phenomenal. I don't know what's in it but I know it is delicious. Hesitant at first just because I don't really crave chicken salad but once mixed with the greens, it all ties together very well. The possibilities are endless. Since the menu is expansive, I feel like it gives more of a reason to keep coming back. I'm a big fan of the cheesecake smoothies. They're filling, topped with goodness, and usually have some kind of wafer stick and fruit to top it off. My go-to is the strawberry blossom and the mango. But once again, there are so many items to choose from, and they all taste great. I tend to go for the sweeter smoothies, but there are a lot of items that will help you keep healthy. From smoothies to pressed juice to teas. They'll tell you the benefits of each ingredient and can make great suggestions based on what you're looking for to help your body and mind. I remember having the sniffles one winter, and on my way home from work, I stopped by their establishment to order a hot ginger tea. I also ordered a pressed juice for a little bit of an immune system boost. I felt better already by the time I got to the car. Ingredients are fresh and real (none of that powder for flavor stuff with extra preservatives). There's a reason why this place has 5 stars. I'd add extra stars if I could.
