I stopped by Smoothie Spot for an acai bowl. There's a kiosk for you to order and pay on, but I didn't see the option to create your own bowl, so they let me order at the register. I also got a strawberry matcha. The bowl was tasty, and the fruit seemed really fresh. The matcha honestly wasn't that great. It also seemed like it was all pre mixed together. Overall, a 4/5 for me. Solid smoothie spot but definitely overpriced and the smoothie (at least the one I had) was not that great. But the Latin bowl I got was tasty. Decor is 10/10. Super cute and very Instagrammable. Also very clean which is always a plus. Staff was pleasant and welcoming offering suggestions and a 15% off coupon for my next visit since it was my first time. Pina colada smoothie was way too textured for me. Probably wouldn't get it again because of the graininess of the coconut. Latin bowl flavors paired together very well. In one word? Adequate. The service here was pretty slow despite there only being a total of 3 customers during lunchtime rush. I think I've seen more urgency in a rock. The decor was really beautiful and the space was very clean. The food we ordered was decent, but nothing out of this world. The Caesar salad had sweet corn and tomatoes in it which I found very strange. Onto the smoothies - perhaps the highlight, a word of warning for those who seek blended fruits; avoid the protein they put in for it overwhelms 99% of the flavor. All of this was more than $80 which is pretty steep for what it was. Instagramable? Yes. Would I return? Probably not. read more

We got a strawberry classic smoothie and a mango tango smoothie. We came into this spot today after getting a flyer placed on our car advertising for 15% off. The smoothie spot was great my first time trying it, but I will definitely be back. The first time I went I had a protein coffee with chocolate drizzle. It was amazing. The second time I went back. I had a in-house made juice and a steak bowl. The steak bowl was good seven out of 10, but the in-house made juice was too sweet. I am a smoothie spot fan. I went to the original location inside the Colombian restaurant many years ago and have been a patron at many different locations since. This location is pretty new- it has a nice decor and looked clean. I ordered my usual- bowl with spinach rice, ground Turkey, mixed greens, pico de gallo, corn, black beans and garlic cilantro. What I love about smoothie spot is the consistency of taste across the restaurants. I am not a big ground Turkey fan but I promise you- try theirs and you will change your mind! I brought a couple of friends with me and one had the wrap and loved it- the other had a bowl and she talked about how fresh everything tasted. This is a little small restaurant, however the inside is beautiful. The decoration is well done and very earthy designs. The food is also amazing. I had the bowl and it was great. The salt was perfect and not overloaded as other restaurants. I would definitely be going back to this place to try other items in the menu. read more

Amazing smoothies, just like at my usual location (Pinecrest). Glad you see the quality holds up across locations! Wasn't as pleased with the service, Pinecrest is super friendly and attentive but at this location we weren't welcomed despite being the only people in the store & he didn't even look at us when taking our order? Thought that was strange. Prices are similar to Pinecrest location, although I think a few cents less so not a huge difference. Definitely still a pricey spot, but the the smoothies are a decent size and quality-wise, definitely worth it. read more

Smoothie Spot in Pembroke Pines is a fresh (literally, the place just opened!) spot with ample seating for your smoothie sipping crew. I tried the chicken Caesar wrap and a green smoothie - both decent and made with seemingly fresh ingredients. Nothing earth-shattering, but definitely solid fuel for your day.
