It's only 8 minutes from my house so it is very convenient. I probably could walk home from here . I had a an appointment for 4 pm but I was in the area so I arrived a little bit before 3:30. The receptionist was friendly and got me checked in. Even though I was early they still didn't have me wait at all. The rep came out after a few minutes. He took photos and prepared an estimate. Since I was going through my insurer I did t care about the estimate as long as my insurance would cover the repairs. They said the repairs would take 10 days or so. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get my vehicle repaired there because my insurance company considered it a total loss. Overall, their quote was reasonable, and the process was easy. I would come back again in the future if I am unlucky enough to be involved in another collision.

At the time i was working at Mercedes Benz as a technician. this was the body shop the dealership sent their customers to. While on my way to work my car was struck by a deer leaving it immobile. So naturally, since a long history of (seemingly) good buisness had been done here, it was a no brainer sending my car here. What a mistake! All the car needed was a front clip, oil cooler, fender and plastic panelling. They took OVER three months to get my car back to me. The owner claimed they had to order some parts from Japan and thats why my car took so long to be completed. I stopped by to get a parts list of what was needed and located many of the parts at local dealers. So what i found out after getting my car back was that my brand new 1500$ stereo was missing. 2 square L 7 solo barics, 2 phoenix gold 1500 watt class d amps, gold plated distibution block, and 6.0 cap. The owner said he would repay me and assured me we would work everything out to my satisfaction. My coworkers were also interested in hearing how they would handle my stolen property, since we sent so many clients their way. The owner bs'd me and finally flat out told me his company was not responsible for anything stolen while the car was in his possession. Well guess what skipps? i hope this review will turn anyone away who would go to you for car repairs. Inshould also mention there were no signs of my car being broken into, so apparently my car was left unlocked while sitting. You can say all you want that the company isnt responsible but at the very least you should be responsible for locking the doors.

I have all of my regular maintenance done here and don't mind waiting in the office because they are quick and do the job right. I've had to have body work done to my car and Carty's is fantastic at matching and blending paints. If you need an estimate for parts or services they are sure to give you a print out of what it is that you will need. The prices are fair and staff is honest and friendly. The hours are usually 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon-Fri. If you need to have serious work done to your car Carty's will work with insurance companies to get the right prices for estimates and the car rental services to bring you a rental while your car is being worked on. Most of the time there is parking spaces available if you need to drop your car off during none business hours (be sure to drop your keys off in the drop box by the main office). Carty's is a great shop to go to for all of your car maintenance needs. The mechanics know what they are doing and your car will always be in good hands.

You will feel like you are giving your car to a family member to fix. As with ANYTHING else, communication is the 1st key. And listening is the second. The review on 10/16/14 sounds like sour grapes or a guy who didn't listen. They would never, EVER quote $50 and then charge $400. NEVER! And the other review for body work? It's obvious this guy thinks he was a victim of a bait and switch. HOWEVER, he was given the 2nd estimate BEFORE the work was started. I think they could care less about whether the guy stayed or not. Obviously, something was noticed that perhaps they missed before.
